In this forum, you can make your post liked by 20+..50+ members only if your post is sweet. A bit of logical matter and criticism is liked only and only by the ones who use their brains while watching a show.

Just look at the kind of responses you're getting!

I'd say anyone with a little bit of self respect should stay out of a forum where disagreement is done in this manner!

They say one can go to the critics' corner! Ha! What a joke! There too the fanatics reach to pick out their targets and dictate them to stop watching the show or quit the forum! 😆

The show had lost its track a month back itself. And now it is just a wannabe Chaar Sher show! (You know what I mean na? 😉 )

Story ho na ho, chumma chaati honi chahiye! Bas.

If some like it this way then so be it.

I feel bad for Doordarshan though! That channel may not have its original glory now but it is still the most viewed channel across the length and breadth of India and its shows still have some integrity. So sad they are simulcasting a show like this on their channel! Satyamev Jayate simulcast deal was good for them. This one's a loser. Both in viewership and integrity of content. It seems they just looked at SLB's name and took it on. Sad.

They better call off the deal and even consider re-telecast of some of their yesteryear classics. That'll benefit them more.

I feel worse for Indian literature. Already few people know about glorious works written in Indian languages. Even if the writers' work gets attention, it gets it in "this way" when some filmmaker or TV wallah decides to maul, sorry, "adapt" that classic! My sympathies with the legendary writers and their families and fans. The legacy gets either royally ignored or outright raped in name of creativity!

It's a shame you are not liking what's going on, it's your opinion of course.

You say TRPs are low because they didn't follow the novel. Surely you know where the story begins in the novel? It's after Kumud's marriage and in a daily soap that is not a plausible starting point. They had to show a solid foundation for the future storyline and there is no way letter exchanges would be enough.

Also regarding the intimacy being shown. Well there are hidden innuendos in the novel too and the fact that Kumud the MARRIED woman keeps her beloveds love letter in blouse near her bosom doesnt exactly portray utmost innocence does it? The novel itself is bold, extremely bold so why should the show not show natural physical attraction between the two leads?

The novel is one of my mums favourite books but I guess she accepts that for a daily serial, changes are required and she actually loved the humour and how it turned in to intense romance at the end of it. Each to their own I guess :)

for me if the trps go up i am happy because i love this show, it has some uniqueness to it compared to other shows that r running at the moment..if u think u have valid points then u should make the cvz aware of the show's content, i don't know criticizing the show here will make any difference or will the cvz get the message! ultimately its the trps that will decide if the show is good or bad, will work or not work! so lets see what happens!

Saras is now there for quite some time & is now kind of part of the family though the family still doesn't know that love has been accepted by both of them .
