Come to think of it, our own shloka, 'Shayaneshu rambha...bhojyeshu mata..." never appears such awkward, even with a chauvinistic tone and an apparent contradiction relevant to our conversation. I think fair sex has adopted it's last phrase in its dismissal " kshmaveshu Dharitri'. 😆
Vaishali, forgive me for being a sore voice here, in your pleasant topic otherwise. 😊

P.s. this comment was solely reflective on today's episode. Of course Cvs will rebound on the love aspect, which is not yet even fully defined. Hopefully I won't get a spank at that time for such 'skin deep' observation today! 😆

That was a super cute scene! I loved the way his face just lit up. Btw, at one point when everyone was cheering Saras and Kumud separately, I heard half of each.. Saaa- Muuud, SaMud!😃

As expected, Cv's did present ' weakness explanation'. In two scenes; Saras requesting a personal space in somewhat composed tone and the Friend assuring his 'capacity' to Kumud...as for Saras, besides his pain, his embarrassment is understandable too. He must be horrified inwardly to find himself breaking down like a child in front of a whole lot. One scene sorely missed was Saras acknowledging her whole night guard. And worse, Kusum moping up the scene?! What!!...to see and infer subtlety, reflections on our own ( over night guard) is one plausible satisfaction but to suffer an unrelated, irrelevant thrust by way of Kusum is bad editing. Better they would have cut straight to Gayatri mantra. Even better would have been Saras coming first, in a one to one scene in front of the Idols, a wordless interplay and then the family. But then clamouring too much as a viewer perhaps.😕

Today they may show him 'acknowledging' or thanking her soulfully or subtly in a direct or roundabout way. Most likely.

@bold red - saying out loud whether its confession, apology or acknowledgement seems too trivial for the kind of bonding Saras and Kumud have.. Him walking upto her infront of the entire family and accepting the arti and prasad was the acknowledgement moment...even through the exhaustion, his eyes kinda expressed the acknowledgement.. i do not expect to see a scene where Saras will say '' thank you Kumud for being there for me'' I honestly had the feeling that they both silently communicated the whole night.. him saying thank you Kumud would have made the whole thing look very '' ordinary'' for lack of better word.. :)

Yes Vaishali...our own perceptions and attuned inferences from the hints that were strewn. Delectable as they are, would still care for a more distinct scene. Need not be a verbal avowal ( not what I mean), a nonverbal, respectful, visual caress or some similar gesture. Prasad scene makes point. yet some more assuarance- perhaps to wash out double whamy of O and Ksm...et us see.
