Friendships are great. And for Saras, Sunny's friendship is even more significant! He's the one person Saras is truly attached to in Dubai. I've always loved Sunny's character because he's genuinely a great guy and a great friend to Saras. He truly wants the best for him. One scene that has still stuck with me was the one after Saras got off the phone with Sunny when he first came to Ratnanagri and told him that he still has yet to see Kumud's face, but is determined to do so. Sunny said something like "Awesome Kumud, you're changing my friend for the better." Even today, he tells Kumud that she has come to understand Saras on a level that even his own father has yet to achieve. I am genuinely thrilled that he's here to help her out now! The parallel between Saras telling Sunny "kal suraj ke doobne se pehle usski chehra dekhungi" and Kumud saying "kal suraj doobne se pehle who khud is doorie ko mitaayenge" was brilliant.

And the surprise/hug between Sunny and Saras was seriously the cutest thing ever! I love seeing those innocent/chill moments in Saras's life. He certainly needs it. The way he introduces Mai to Sunny also shows how important both of those relationships are to him. I loved it.

Like many others, I'd totally love to see Sunny and Kusum paired up. If not romantically, I'd at least want to see them working together to get Kumud and Saras closer together (though they're good at doing that on their own, they occasionally come up with silly "chaar kadam ki doorie" ideas =P).

Here's to hoping Sunny's entry in Ratnanagri brings some interesting moments in the near future :)

I agree with you totally, the bromance is a great thing to see. Honestly, it's the one way Saras can be himself and let his hair down. The guy is so serious and his emotions are all buttoned-up apart from when he is at the lake, he needs that downtime with a buddy. Who doesn't? His dad and stepmom don't care enough to understand him and his half-brother seems like a party animal. Saras looks really happy now that his friend is in town, I hope it continues.
And nice observation on the parallel between him and Kumud's statements. The similarity in language shows how similar they can be at times.

Loved the Bromance! It might sound weird but can't help noticing that GR has great chemistry with just about everyone in the show. In this case, I love the contrast in the friendship. Saras is the calm and cool Chandra whereas Sunny is brimming with energy and enthusiasm! About Kusum and Sunny, I agree they would make a wonderful pair but I would love to see Kumud and Saras work together to unite KuNny? (Kusum and Sunny.. coz SuSum just sounds wrong lol 😆)
