The episode starts with Saras sitting in his room thinking how he shouldn't have ignited the feelings he knows he won't be able to keep. Kumud walks in the room and questions him why is he ignoring her when he tells her how he shouldn't have said things he told her yesterday and that he is going to stay single all his life hence nothing can happen between them. He assures her that the four feet distance can never fade as he isn't someone who can build relationships. A crying Kumud comes to her room thinking about his words while on the other side Saras is mad at himself for becoming so vulnerable.
Kumari takes a paper from the mystery man and as she is about to leave Kusum comes there and questions about the paper but she makes excuse of it being a grocery list.
Kumud walking in the halls remembers what Badima and Saras told her how Saras has started to form a hatred towards building any relationships hence doesn't want to form a relationship with her. Kumud is in deep thoughts confused holding the letter Saras had wrote when Kusum comes in the room and tells her how she has been sad ever since Saras has come. Kumud tells her how she wants to him because Badima told her but she can't forgive him until she can forget his rejection. Kumud reaffirms herself that since Badima has shown the trust in her she will have to help Saras.
VC informs Saras that he has found a land for the school and as he is about to take Saras there Badima comes and tells him how he is needed in the house for the puja so Kumud can go with Saras. Saras tries to say no but Badima insists.
Saras and Kumud are at the Bus station but since there are so many people wanting to get on the bus they decide to sit on top of it. As Kumud is climbing the ladder she almost slips but manages herself as Saras is trying to help her. While sitting on top of the bus she tries to make space for Saras next to her but he goes and sits at a distance from her. Throughout the ride they keep on looking at each other when the lady next to Saras tells them how they should stop shying away since they are already married. The sun is directly coming on them so Kumud puts a dupatta on her head. Seeing Saras struggle to keep himself in shade Kumud convinces the lady next to him to use the long dupatta as a cover so that everyone can sit in shade.
Saras and Kumud come to check the land out when Kumud tells him how this isn't the right one because only one bus comes there per day. The owner tries to convince Saras to purchase the land but he flatly denies it.
Precap: Saras and Kumud are at a dhabba for lunch when the waiter brings buttermilk for Saras. But since he hadn't order it he questions the waiter about it when the waiter tells him Kumud ordered it for him.
