I agree with you Arshicritic! Today's episode had NO novelty AT ALL!
The plotting of Guman and Yash's mom and taunts about Saras and Kumud being together alone was another hackneyed way of raising question marks over a girl's character. It's been shown helluva lot of times onscreen since times of B&W movies.
agreed, this village called ratnanagri seems to have bipolar disorder, kabhi ek dum traditional, and kabhi ek dum liberal
This traditional line is whipped up bit too often
SaMud scenes were absolute old wine in new bottle! Such scenes have been repeated in several movies and can be seen any day on any other TV serial! 👎🏼
😲
As for symbolism, I can only say that Saras standing like a shield in front of Kumud could be a metaphor for how he'd be there to protect her even if she wants him to be away from him and how he wants to protect her from the trash she will be exposed to if she marries him - given the evil elements like Guman plaguing his life.
yes, you could be right here, because he just forgot about the char kadam thing, in his desire to protect her
Kumud throwing water at his wound and saying "saaf karo isko" could be a symbolism for how with her energy and love she wants him to get out of the rut and clean the dust that has settled over his heart due to his tragic past.
again, makes sense👍🏼
But I must say it was hypocritical of Kumud to laugh after having done that act. She got angry at Saras for even throwing petals at her to awaken her. What if he had thrown water on her face to wake her up that day? She'd have exploded!
But it's all fine and fun if she throws water on Saras to "clean his wound"? 🤔
It's Saras' patience, soft nature and kindness that he did not mind that action.
there I slightly disagree, I think it was to bring out her playfulness, as she too played the char kadam game with him
The precap scene was also run of the mill. Done to death in several films. But it could perhaps be a symbolism for the fact that Kumud's energy and influence are leading Saras out of his shell slowly.
😊
The only admirable thing I found about today's episode was that Kumud handles problems at her father's workplace herself! Her family also lets her do it instead of asking her to wait for her father or consult some other male in the family. I just love Kumud's independence, self reliance and how she is not in any way less than a son for her father! 👍🏼
Yes, so true, infact Gun also talked about her contribution to the business.
Other males in the family - there seem to be none
1. Grandfather too old
2. Gyanchatur - doesn't seem to be doing anything except being besura all day
3, Yash - that rat is good for nothing
So her dad probably relies on her
A 6/10 for this episode from my side.
😊
Definitely a low after power-packed episodes shown earlier this week. I hope they aren't doing this for TRPs! 😕
🥱 I think this one was more of a filler, till weekend!
