i think it's difficult for both of them and their reactions/ behavior is justified. kumud is in dilemma as she knows that saras is not going marry her and she doesn't want to humiliate her family. so she behaves rudely towards him to keep her distance as she has feelings for him. saras on the other hand feels confused about his behaviour towards kumud and his feelings for her. he is still trying to get to know her. he himself doesn't realise his feelings for her yet although he begins to question his actions. when he does realise it, he wouldn't tell her soon because saras is stubborn and i am sure his ego will get in the way. if he does tell her kumud would let her ego get in the way of not accepting his love as he rejected her. she doesn't know that reason for rejecting her is not his fault. LN told him he is going to get married without asking or speaking to saras about it. saras did say once LN doesn't know how to choose his life partner (probably thought he was going to marry someone like guman 😆 lol). both saras and kumud are justified in their actions.

As much as I agree with what you are saying, I just feel that is not the reason why he has not professed his love to Kumud. I think that he, himself, does not know that he is in love. He was so sure he was not going to marry Kumud, came to break the alliance and has now fallen head over heels for her. He hasn't registered anything as of yet. He still needs to connect the dots and understand his emotions. I am sure when he comes to know he has fallen in love with Kumud he will tell her. As of now he feels he has done many wrong things to Kumud and is her culprit, which is why he believes he needs to do anything that saves Kumud and her family from trouble. He doesn't understand, yet, that what he is doing is not of of guilt, but because he loves Kumud. Also I think when Saras realizes his feelings he will tell Kumud how he feels because he knows behind Kumud's rudeness is love. He knows that Kumud once loved him and I am sure he knows that deep down her heart still does beat for him. I think he realizes that what Kumud is doing is not for her family, but more for her own satisfaction and the fact that she can't see him go through all of this.That's just what I think. I can be wrong though.

Well just A question how do u know what guys feel ? are u a guy?? then u can't make assumptions in general but on saras surely! becuz u go general u go hell lot wrong many times! (Personal experience)
