I have to vent a bit before I get to the post. I, honestly, never got this thing of taking blame for other people's mistakes. I get it. Saras is a nice man with a heart of gold. But seriously? Like seriously seriously? I was under the impression that Yash wasn't really at fault and that's why Saras took the blame (not that I approve of that either but oh well). But Yash didn't just kill the cow, he was drunk and driving. That is not a small offence and I do not take kindly to sheltering the offenders even if just in fiction. I love Saras to no end but that doesn't stop me from being thoroughly annoyed at his 'selfless' act anyway.

Of course, let's look at the bright side now. Am I allowed to fangirl over Kumud? For me, she was the true HERO in the precap. 'Jab isne kuch kiya hee nahi, toh yeh sazaa kyun bhugte?' Atta girl! She cannot stand injustice of any kind that's obvious. All her messed up feelings for Saras aside, she spoke up because it is downright WRONG for Saras to get punished for something he didn't do. Once again, we were reminded of why Kumud is so drawn to his eyes. Because they speak the truth. She sees the truth in his eyes, that he is innocent and hence she believes the same even if she has no evidence to prove so.

The last glimpse of the precap, one glance at each other and I saw the trust issues melting away. For the first time, I think, these two have so openly revealed their soft corners for each other. They both will now discover how wrong and judgmental they have been. Kumud's relentless fight for justice will make Saras see that she isn't all about ego and arrogance. And because this is 'just a show', Kumud won't disapprove of Saras taking the blame for Yash's mistake unlike me and will see that he is not the selfish person she has thought him to be. And hopefully, this will be the start of something new for their relationship and their perception of each other (=

Hi there :)

Completely love and agree with your post, I do agree that Saras has an absolute heart of gold, I was excited, upset, humbled when i saw Saras take the blame. I had a wave of emotions and it was just aww! 😆 But i do agree, I was annoyed when Yash said he was 'Drunk driving' with his friends. I don't get why a person would not only endanger them self but other people in the car as well. And if you want to drink, do it at a suitable time, place. And not under peer-pressutre! I mean seriously? Drinking and driving. 🤔

And i have to super fan-girl with you as well! Kumud stole the precap for me, I loved what she was saying.. and that too in front of everyone. How romantic, how cute and how democratically real!! 😆 Saras's eyes were so beautiful and his facial expressions, I could almost imagine him jumping inside himself thinking "YAYY Kumud defended me" 😆 Extremely cuuute <3 And this can be the start of something new..

There's definitely Kashish (attraction) there, a chemistry. ❤️

Hi, Jabeen😃

I totally agree with your first paragraph. No amount of annoyance will stop me from feeling thoroughly upset about Saras being accused wrongly but what to do? Drinking and peer-pressure is a serious problem. Even if he was drunk, why drive? But that's digressing from the show anyway, it's not suppose to be about social messages so I will just focus on Saras taking the blame.

We can't deny that this will lead to progression in SaMud's relationship though so maybe we should forgive Saras. Lol! That is Kumud for you, always headstrong. Saras better be jumping with joy, Kumud doesn't soften up so easily. Can't wait for this new start already!

I agree that taking the blame was kinda irritating especially when that Idiot Yash was under the influence because that is indeed a disgusting thing to do...but I feel like he did it because of Yash's mom...

Also I think because this was another reason to stay? He didn't want to go as it is, but with what right would he have stayed? This will give him another reason to possibly fix his problems with Kumud.

I love these two, they have such a pure heart. She didn't stop him because she thought she had no right...and ironically he thought the same. The dialogues today easily portrayed what both Samud were feeling.

Hmm..I hadn't considered that angle actually. I thought he was being the typical sacrificing lamb of the show. Saras doesn't seem like someone who'd go to that extent to stay but Kumud ignites something inside him. Let's wait till tomorrow and see his answer when Kumud questions him about this. Knowing her, am sure she will.

I echo you on the irony part. She felt she didn't have a right to stop him and he felt he wasn't right in staying. Hopefully, in their new start, they'll start TALKING as well :P

@blackbeauty:

Yes, exactly today even though they weren't in the same frame at least they both spoke of why they behaved the way they did. Kumud didn't stop him because she felt she had no right to stop him, especially when he thought it was a mistake to even come there. Ironically he felt the same reason. He too thought he had no right to stay especially when she thought that it was a mistake to even make him come there.

As for what I mentioned, I doubt he would tell her this. What he did was done subconsciously. At the back of his head he didn't want to go. He thought she would stop him. So one thing is that he is selfless, next Yash was going to swear upon his mother by lying; furthermore, subconsciously he wanted to mend things between him and Kumud? That is just a psychological take from me hence the question mark lol.

Even Kumud made her sister place a bet that Saras would come because she was trying to convince herself that possibly he will come and didn't want to admit that her heart was shouting that.

I thought this because she tells kusum wanna bet? Kusum says her heart feels he would come. Once again the sisters talk and Kumud says he isn't going to come and then asks why she didn't bet? Perhaps Kumud actually wanted to lose this time and was just showing kusum that she is fine.

I think Saras taking blame for Yash's mistake has got more to do with the fact that Yash was swearing at his mom and Saras would obviously not be able to see a son taking a false swearing of his mom

and Yup loved Kumud in the precap...she was fighting with so many people for Saras coz no matter how hurt she has been coz of him, she knows Saras will never do this!! and Saras would be more impressed by Kumud that she does understand him!!

this definitely is an official start of their lovestory

Great post. I don't know if I am right but I think Saras didn't know Yash was drunk and I think he actually took the blame to stop Yash from making a false promise in the name of his mother. The way he stopped Yash's hand, I felt he might have taken the blame since he knew Yash would have to lie as he was scared. I agree it is not a good thing to take a person's blame when he is drunk but I somehow feel it was more due to seeing him make the false promise. Mother sentiments, I feel but I maybe wrong.
