Disclaimer :I don't think that people who commit suicide are cowards.

So you have problems... so you are in grave depression ... does that mean you can end your life?

Yes, sometimes life is a little unfair and you cannot handle it... but how is it fair to your near dear ones?

My question is what exactly justifies suicide? You decide to end your life.. thats it... no more pain.. no more hurt... but does that justify it?

In reference to the show, Saras' mother decides to commit suicide... to end her life... unaware that Saras' is right there watching her...unaware of what will happen to her child... her only son...

The spectulation is that Laxminandan was unfaithful to his wife and so she decided to end her life... from the very flashbacks, I too, draw the conclusion that maybe that was the case... wasn't that all the more reason to stay alive and be a father and a mother to your only kid???

I have never understood why would people take such a step.
Everyone has problems.. does it all end with suicide.. for the concerned person.. maybe... but what happens to people who are close to you?

Saras has been scarred for life. I pity the poor soul.

Suicide is not justified but then there are times when your rational thinking takes a hike and you do stuff, without thinking of what would be the outcome.

It's probably a blow to your sensibilities. Some people think of taking the easy way out of problems and attempt to take their own lives. You can't call them cowards, just weak people.

I wish they would seek help before attempting something like this.

Yes Dear suicide is not a solution of any problem ...

But people do this when they are Hopeless...Helpless

But still suicide is not a solution
Just think of good people around you before doing this ...

Exactly. Your life is not yours alone. You have people who depend on you, who seek guidance from you, who love you. Think of how this will affect the people around you.

I totally agree with you! One must not just think of escaping issues or depression via suicide! Because at the end of it all, your loved ones left behind suffer so much!

Recently a family friend of my parents committed suicide! Everyone is still struggling with it! It is so hard for the people left behind to cope with this reality!

I especially think that if you are a parent, then suicide should not be an option for you! You have to think of your kid / kids! What will become of them when your gone?? Especially a Mother!

Also, committing suicide because your spouse was unfaithful to you is such a cliche! So, will you make your child suffer coz you can't cope with your husband's unfaithfulness? What are you trying to say? That the pain your husband gave you is bigger than your love for your child??

As a Mother myself now, I can vouch for the fact that nothing is bigger than your love for your child! At least it should NOT be!

I personally think it is because of emotions that is why people commit suicide
i have thought about it at times but when i have cooled down i think about my family and decided that it does not makes sense it will hurt my family a
