While I'm loving the show, there are still some points on my mind about it:
- Please do away with hangover of SLB's past films. Earlier it was HDDCS reloaded. Now Devdas - as in, hero physically injuring the heroine in a fit of rage and then apologising (though such a scene was there in HDDCS too). In both films heroine starts behaving like a wife even before formal wedding (standing up for the man, feeding him etc.). We want originality please! Not a been-there-done-that feel.
- Monica Bedi overacts. She seems to resemble typical vamps of OTT saas bahu dailies. Many times her acting looks artificial also and hard to relate to.
- BGM is at times too loud so much so that one can't hear properly what the characters are saying. Let BGM remain what it should be - in the background!
- Jenny acts well but her hairstyle looks messy indeed. And somehow the feel of "grace" isn't coming. Her costumes are no great shakes either (exposure maybe fine but colour combinations are useless). Her hair forever flying all over her face is irritating now (it's also overdone!).
- Saras was shown so strict and completely into worship, meditation and leaning towards celibacy as shown initially. But isn't his attraction towards Kumud and those lovey-dovey looks etc., happening too quickly? I sometimes feel it's all too much too soon. Romantic sequences or attraction are fine if a man is shown like a normal guy, but not like Saraswatichandra!
- Saras pushing Kumud and her getting injured is an act of violence. There was no need to romanticise it! I don't know why does SLB have penchant for such scenes in name of romance! Hero roughly handles heroine or injures her, later he apologises or starts trying to "heal" the wound by caressing, blowing air or kissing! This BS isn't romance!
- I think Kumud many times talks too much and nearly forces herself around Saras nowadays. Get it, she feels for him and the unjust punishment he's bearing. But her attempts to help him or convince him to let her help and all those "har kaam akele nahi ho sakta" type lectures are irritating.Anybody would get irritated like that! I don't know, but I find Kumud too talkative, and too interfering. Her bhaasanbaazi at home or around Saras gets on nerves at times!
- Romantic moments are fine but I don't like them coming way too often or abruptly (even when these are not needed).
- Kumud's family behaves odd! They locked up her and Saras in a room but now say stuff like woh abhi damaad bana nahi, dukh baantne ka haq sirf patni ko hota hai! If that's the case toh phir ek hi kamre mein bandh rehna bhi sirf pati-patni ko shobha deta hai! No?
- Dukhba had seen Saras is still the same guy that he was as a kid. Why did she suddenly forget those experiences with him and go all bitter just at Gumam's phone call?
- What happened to Gumam's plans to come to India? What about the ghungroos she wanted to gift Kumud? That's not shown till now and suddenly there's new scheme of bringing VC on roads? She keeps scheming but actually does nothing?
- Please now also show why Gumam only wants to harm VC & family! She did learn that if not for his sacrifice and help, she and LN wouldn't have made it in Dubai and would be on roads. Still she's thankless and wants to see VC on roads? Why so? Show bit by bit of that also instead of her just scheming around and rest of the episode with either romantic moments or people fuming/worrying.
