That was a good non frivolous read, thanks.

Since this is a SLB show the expectations are ginormous but so far Im not totally let down. I love the 70mm, larger than life feel and SLB's vivid brush strokes. I hear many complaining about a HUM dil de chuke sanam hangover, but I dont mind that. This kind of grandeur has never been seen on TV before, so why not.
I find Gautam Rode a little wooden at times, but its still early days and hopefully he'll ease into his role. Keeping in mind that it is a daily show, the characters are pretty relatable so far. The original story being what it is, it will be interesting to see how SLB mordernizes it beyond just the sets and costumes.

It seems like they take from all his movies.

Yeah, they've kept the feel modern enough.. It's when they try to stay true to the novel and have the leads communicating through snail mail that people start to get critical.. :D

Speaking of which, snail mail is underrated.. There's nothing quite like the joy of receiving a handwritten letter, as I recently discover thanks to one of my best friends back home.. :)

Its been 8days and i am totally amazed by the show, within a short span of time it has already won my heart, I am totally smitten by both the leads and till now both of them have bowled me over with there chemistry, the chemistry sparkles between the actors(even though we haven't had any full fledged romantic scenes between samud) yet the chemistry is already evident, what can i say i am totally head over heels in love with the show already<3
