Hello everyone, this is Mary. I been part of this forum since the early 2000 days and hope to be active on this one. So excited that SLB has decided to come to TV.

The show is looking great so far. Needless to say, it is intelligent, classic and will draw a good audience. So my proposal is to ban the immature word "basher" from this forum. Clearly, we are above this. This is an SLB show, let's make this forum SLB worthy by cutting out the immaturity I see in so many other sub-forums here.

Bashing and criticism are two different things. Let's not scream "BASHER" every time someone disagrees or has a constructive criticism. This kind of mob mentality is better left to others.

REMINDER:

I would just like to remind everyone so quick to use the word "basher" against any opinion they don't like that this pact was make in the very first day of the show. Many of you liked it, thereby signing the pact. Unfortunately, the word "basher" is being used and too frequently in this show and it includes some people who agreed to this pact. This is a shame because I really think this show is a bit mature for these kind of outbursts. It is a hollow word. Don't use it to hide behind, it really doesn't help.

Exactly..! Reading criticisms makes it even more fun to watch a show..! 😳

I am loving SC till now..! Everything looks SO meaningful in this show and the characters are portrayed with each and every details..! <3

Good plan! Viewers of a show should be able to express an opinion, either positive or negative, without being labeled a basher.. So long as there's no abuse or name calling and the like, it's all good..

As for the show, I just started watching it (online, since my grad student budget doesn't run towards getting cable..) So far, I'm enjoying it.. The look is very cinematic, which was to be expected, with SLB at the helm. Had to suspend disbelief a bit with the 'Dubai' sets, with such an abundance of greenery, but it's ok, this much license I can allow when watching a TV show.. I liked the India set, though, particularly the pool in the pearl scene. I've never seen any of the leads' previous shows, so don't have any preconceived ideas on how good/bad they are.. But so far I haven't been disappointed. I like Jen's look. Still trying to figure out what drives Saras and makes him act the way he does. Well be interesting to see how they unfold the story..

Looking forward to some interesting discussions, dissecting the show.. :)

I support this. It gets so annoying when you're termed a "basher from another forum" when all you've done is expressed your dissatisfaction about something you saw in the show. Hopefully this forum will be a more tolerant place for all opinions :)

Excellent idea!

Some of us are just trying to make sense of the show, others can see things I can't, still others don't like it. It's all part of a forum about a show. So hope all povs are tolerated. Coz as a member, I need to be able to come read many different opinions and explanations of the show.

I quiet disagree. I don't understand why is this so called criticism drawn towards only one actor? I and many others find Gautam quiet wooden, but we don't make 10 topics on it. Coming to Jen, she was third Riddhima and has garnered enough hatred from other fan groups. Some of them stoop so low that they need no reason to criticize and there are others who are wanting their fav actress to play her role. I guess, Mods will have lots of work in this forum.
