Bored Damsels Post
Note to myself : what to ignore in this show .. after two episodes!
1) The amount of foundation on Gauti's face
2) SLB trying to replicate a Nandini (Aish) through Kumud (Jenny). Her expressions, her hair style, her dress, and even the three dots on her neck.
3) Jenny's voice that does not suit the bubbly girl that she portrays.
4) The fact that the sound and the lip movements sometimes don't match.
Are they dubbing and not capturing live audio?
5) SLB's set for Saras's house in Dubai. Well, no one could possibly eat outside in Dubai, given the amount of sand and dust in the air.. and plus the trees in the background of the veranda.. seriously? But I did, however, like the garden .. the set had the palm trees around the yard, interesting touch.. that did make it seem like the houses I have seen in Dubai. And Fairy, almost all the hotels I have seen in Dubai have lush fauna and flora and ponds and fountains .. so maybe its possible to have that in houses too.
6) The fact that they are writing letters when an email could have been more practical, unless somehow he got to know that the server in the village was down!
7) The fact that this could be another cliched love story .. the guy with the dark past who doesn't believe in marriage because of his parents' failed one.. and the chubbly girl who believes in love, marriage and fairy tales! Why do I get the scent of an MU already??
I must say I am beginning to like Jenny. She can do a very good imitation of Aish! Gauti on the other hand has already disappointed me... I don't see any versatility, at least not yet. He seems to have the same expression all the time! I am loving the dialogues .. especially loved this one .. "I didn't say yes, but I couldn't say no either!" And the music is lovely!
Ok, that said.. it's an ok watch. The show hasn't disappointed so far .. so I haven't given up!
