oh she is the first graduate did not know that😕😲
what the hell they area against it
ok slb has set the rustic scene in a 19th century set up and juxtaposed it with modern day india

I agree the whole this is overly dramamtic and very bolly like..but then again this is the infusion he is bringing inot telly is it not...
the lusery of the sets and and the camera...
he is after all adapting a story that is old...
but coming to the education...sadly that is a fact and a reality ...in many places in indian...
and the internet connection is a reality even in your so called first world yaara

comes comes i will take u to places in Kannneda and UYEs AAA
where internet is still still a devils highway...

Swathi, I would not have minded it is was set in the era of Devdas. That was late 18th / early 19th Century, i believe. But SLB wants us to believe this is a modern day love story set in 21st Century. I guess he wanted to juxtapose the leads and the characters, repeated emphasis on him being gentle as a moon as her being fiery as the sun. Also I guess he wanted us to believe that she was a go getter and didn't believe in backing down in face of a crisis where as SC is more complaisant. .

Tangy, you are probably right, but it seem rather preposterous! 🤪

Onu,
If SLB delivers even half on the above, it will be treat.
Writers and directors can be given a lot of room to present a story and given artistic freedom to make believe situations under the name of fiction, as long as they can show consistency in what they are trying to show and say.

Woah! half a century already😲😆..

hola dorians..
feels so good to see you back. used to visit your doris in other serial forum.😳.. (never watched that serial but your posts were so refreshing and thought provoking).
good luck with the new serial. hope your new journey provides me with more such amazing doris to read and laugh and love.
cheers.
about SC..
watched the first epi. gautam rode was fab.. as an actor the man was impressively restrained.
the other cast were pretty good too. i hope there is less of dramatics and more of light hearted moments. as it is... the story is pretty depressing. hope SLB gives his own HDDCS touch than saawariya one.
i am not very loyal to tele serials so may not stick around for this one too... but would stalk this doris for sure.. for the amazing people that reside in here.😊
