Great start 👏 Kudos to the whole team.. Individual performances specially the leads were really good. Kumud's family looks like one happy bunch of people..Saras's dad and stepmom were good too..But obviously what what stood out was the leads intro..Saras offering prayers in the pond and Kumud coming out of the pond with the pearl in her hand.. brilliant!

Hi! I'm sorry if this is a silly question, but when did the show Start? I've seen ads for it here in Canada "coming soon" on ATN, but no date, I decided to come to IF today and check, and was surprised that it's already airing (well, not really, that usually happens, more like surprised that I didn't think of coming here to check before! LOL!)

Anywho, could you tell me how many episodes I've missed approximately? I most likely won't watch them online Just so I don't get ahead of myself.

Finally, can someone tell me the general story? I don't see anything in the overveiw of the show, and in the previews they don't say much!

Finally! The wait is over. And truly, it was worth the wait. I had seen the first look of the show on startv, so the very beginning wasn't new to watch. Saras is introduced in a really good way. His character is an ideal one, I hope in the upcoming episodes it doesn't become unrealistic. The way hesays, 'Chandra nahi SaraswatiChandra' is wow! The angry young man touch to it is good.

Monica Bedi is good, I found her voice a bit artifical today. Maybe i shall get used to it! Saras' dad was good. Have seen him in PV and I doubt his character is that significant. Nonetheless, he is nice.

It is good to see that the actual story has started in the first episode itself, without wasting a lot of time just introducing the leads, showing them from head to toe or rather tow to head! Lol.. The book had taken 30 years to be written! It is by far the best Gujrati novel and has a really sad ending. I am looking forward to what changes SLB has made so that the tale seems acceptable.

The actress playing Kusum is good. I like her. The small scene where Kumuds family was introduced was also good. Short and sweet, no time waste and a bit of fun in a serious story.

Kumuds character is something I am looking forward too. Going into water to find a moti was a bit too much, but she is righteous and modern. The fact tat she wont allow someone else to write her destiny makes me fall in love with her character. Hard to believe she goes through so much of trauma in the future. I hope SLB keeps her intrinsic nature in mind before showing future scenes where Kumuds in a lot of pain and suffers endlessly.

The precap was wow! The story's begun and we dont have to wait for a long time to see saras-kumuds chemistry. I wait for tomorrows epi! I loved todays. SP has nailed it, once again.

Oh btw, my uncle seems to have read the book. He says there are many many characters and the the story is too complicated. However, he liked the modrnized version.. 'majaa aavse' (it wud be fun), thats what he said when it ended. And it means a lot! Haha.. He doesnt praise things easily!
