@moniks - I don't think he's the villain personally. I think he's just a very grey character - sometimes he's light and white, sometimes he's deep and dark. The clever thing the CVs are doing is hiding his internal thoughts when he's with Pooja so the suspense is building. 👏
Like I said a long time back, I keep fluctuating as to whether he will have Pooja shot. At one point I thought Definitely! and at another point Definitely Not! Now I'm back to 50% - he might get Pooja shot if he thinks she's fallen for Krish. He might encourage her to pretend like she's engaged to Krish for convenience's sake but if he sees any possibility of their relationship turning real, I foresee Brij turning into a very ugly character.
In which case, it makes sense for him to wear her nishani on his finger and yet order her killing. "Tu meri nahin to kisi aur ki bhi nahin" types.
@happy - I don't think lying to her to get her into bed qualifies as rape. Otherwise 50% of all men would be rapists 😆 It is however a very low thing to do.
