In Panchmarhi, Sumitra is in the kitchen cooking food when Arti comes there and scolds her. She sends her mother back to bed despite her protests and insists on doing all the work herself.
Meanwhile, Brij is busy pacing his office, waiting for Pooja to arrive. ❤️ The rest of the troupe gets there and Krish walks in last, enquiring for Pooja. One of the male members teases Krish about it and Pooja at last walks in. Krish goes over to her immediately and asks her why she's late.
At the same time, Brij's delayed appointment walks into his office and so Brij is forced to take his meeting even though his attention is entirely on what's happening outside his window. Pooja gives one tentative glance in the direction of his office and then walks over to the mic with downcast face.
Krish is explaining the scene in the play - Shakuntala goes to meet Dushyant and he fails to recognize her. She can't believe this is the same man who once professed his love for her and heartbroken, she falls to the ground. He comes over to Pooja and tells her to imagine she's Shakuntala and has been betrayed by the man she loves.
Pooja has no problem with that, of course, 😆 and she sings the sad version of Aaj More Sajanji. His meeting over, Brij listens to her song, sees her sad face and moved by it, walks out of his office. Pooja comes to a sudden halt the moment she sees him.
Krish wonders what happened and sees Brij is leaning against the pillar outside his office (damn sexy! ☺️). Krish offers to lower the volume. Brij asks why and then begs their pardon for what happened the previous day and tells them to practice at whatever volume they please.
Relieved, Krish starts the music again and Brij walks over to lean against the pillar in front of Pooja. But she's absolutely frozen and can't sing. Krish walks over, puts his hand on her shoulder and asks her if she's all right or if someone said something to her. Brij is worried by her reaction. Krish tells everyone to break for 10 mins.
Brij is oh-so-casually walking out behind Pooja 😆 when Krish breaks in and hijacks her.😡 He tells Pooja to remember her audition and how she closed her eyes and sang so beautifully. He says she can do it again and she has the pain of Shakuntala somewhere inside of her. He takes Pooja for tea to take her mind off things. Bhavna is watching Krish do all this with a big smile on her face. Brij doesn't like Krish taking over his role of Pooja sympathizer in chief but is forced to return to his office.
After the tea break, Brij is in his office listening to Pooja sing faultlessly and it's like she's breaking his heart as she sings of her broken heart. The rest of the troupe, especially Krish can't take their eyes off her. As she draws to a close, Brij comes out of his office to applaud her effort but before his hands make contact, loud applause breaks out and Krish comes running to grab Pooja's hands.
Brij looks like he got shot through the heart. Krish keeps holding on to Pooja's hands and praising her, while Pooja looks awkward about the whole thing. Bhavna mischievously tells Krish she's never heard him praise anyone as much as he's praising Pooja today. Krish lets go of her hands and says Pooja completely deserved it.
A greatly agitated Brij goes back into his office after hearing and seeing all this and closes the door behind him with a firm click. Everyone in the hall looks around at the sound but it's Pooja who's left with a worried expression on her face.
At the end of another break, the troupe tells Krish that they think Brij is unhappy to see them there. Krish asks why. Shelley says that Brij used to be very enthusiastic about their work in the beginning but these days it's like he doesn't care at all. Krish tells them that Brij is a very important man who's got a lot of things on his mind and chalks up his behavior to having other issues of his own. Bhavna chips in to agree and reminds them that he was the one to offer them the rehearsal hall and says he's very sweet.
Pooja is listening to all this and comes to the amazing conclusion that Brij igored her the other day because she must have done something to piss him off. She decides she needs to beg his pardon for whatever it was she did, even if she did it unknowingly. (OMG, no wonder she ends up shot if this is the kind of naive child she is! And no wonder Brij can't resist this kind of innocence after living in politics for this long! ☺️)
Meanwhile, Brij is caressing the flowers she got him and making moony faces and awkwardly sprinkling water on the bouquet to keep it fresh. He places it carefully back it in its place on the side table and when his glance falls on the whiteboard, he starts writing -

Brij repeats the word "sailaab" (deluge / flood) to himself in a very ominous manner, circling it repeatedly on the board. He looks thoughtful in a very determined kind of way.
Precap: Bhavna and Pooja in Bhavna's car and Bhavna is complaining that her mother keeps asking her to keep Shivji's fast so she will get the man of her dreams but she thinks its all absolutely useless. Pooja asks why and Bhavna replies that it's coz she doesn't think Brijbhushan Pandey is going to be interested in marrying her. Pooja is shellshocked.
I know I said I wanted to see a jealous and possessive Brij but I didn't think he's be heartbreaking. Awww! (Rahul Sigh is amazing!) What I'm worried about is Pooja and Bhavna's conversation tomorrow. Pooja doesn't have enough sense to be jealous - she's more likely to think that she got her wires crossed somewhere and now Brij is put off by her feelings for him because so many other women must be chasing him in Bhopal. She's already taken a giant step back after the rally compared to her tiny tiny steps falling in love, this is going to send her scuttling back to her shell. Brij will definitely have to do all the wooing and he better do it fast if he doesn't want Speedy Krish to get there first.
On the plus side, the thing I noticed today is that Brij gets the best background music in this show. Both today and yesterday, he got some amazing scores in his last scenes. But today's music seemed to promise some kind of trouble.
