I don't know if you're familiar with the game monopoly, but there's a card in that game that says: Go directly to jail. Do not pass "Go." Do not collect $200. 😛

Don't you just get a magical feeling when you hold a baby in your arms? I feel it every time I hold my precious little neice...that was the inspiration behind that scene. For Rachna it meant a lot more given her past experiences, but I think the feeling of pure happiness that comes from taking a baby into your arms is universal. 😊

True...family for Rachna is her, Kabir, and their child. You're right in saying that she wants a physical symbol which represents her and Kabir's togetherness.

Thank you for appreciating the balcony part. I quite liked it myself. Kabir was playing like a kid down below and she was watching him from above, wanting more than ever before to give him that happiness herself, lamenting at her own inability to move on from the unfortunate loss of their child over a year ago.

Thanks for sharing your thoughts Bennu. A true pleasure to see how others perceive and interpret your writing. Oftentimes when I write something in the updates, I don't see anything beyond my own thought process behind the scene. However, when I read people's comments, my eyes are opened to other viewpoints as well and this helps me give the story a new direction in future updates as well.

Hope you like what I have planned out for the next update. Although I will definitely write it keeping in mind all the wonderful comments and feedback that I have received here.

Thank you very much everyone for all your comments, feedback, predictions, and speculation on the past few chapters. It's a treat to read how others interpret my writing. I often don't think too much into how a scene from the update can be interpreted beyond what I feel while writing it. I guess collectively, there is some sort of a thematic thread in the background that ties all the updates together, but I don't think this deeply when I'm writing...I just write what comes to mind.

I only hope that I do not disappoint you with the story that I have planned out. Thanks for reading everybody!
