Give me single reason why rachna should fall for him ?
They are not being consistent with Rachna. Let's go back even further,
- She knows Kabir is attracted to her. Sonal told her. And after that Rachna used that to annoy Sonal. And Racha wasn't clueless here either, she felt bad about what she was doing. So then she tells herself she will not do it anymore. But even after that she was aware of some of her slip ups and Kabir's stares at her. She was not clueless.
- This kind of figures a little into her telling him she feels bad about what she did, and that she knows there can be nothing between them.
Then when Kabir talks about love, she KNOWS she knows somewhat that she is a possibility. She herself wondered if he was talking about her. Then heard Sonal's name. Here, after she heard Sonal's name, I guess we can say either she went into some kind of denial/self preservation mode/ or even confusion, etc.
Then KT clears that it's not Sonal. And then she again kind of gets the hint and sort of wonders if it's her.
Then she goes to KT, and asks if it's for his girlfriend. I don't know here if she's doing it in a denial way, to test him or what. Then when it seems he's serious about having a girl, she is affected.
Most of this I think she is not completely aware but somewhat aware.
As for her liking him... there is an emotional connect there. That cannot be denied. The way she assured him how she would never betray him. It was really emotional. Do you think I could do something like this, you know me. I am not a traitor. And leaving all that, I could never do that to you. I could never betray you. Then again, I know you won't believe me but I could never betray you.
All that I think shows there is something that there is enough there for her to have some kind of feelings affection for him. She just wouldn't know it, place it.
Either way, they are kind of see-sawing and not developing it properly. Rachna's characterization is a bit off and now so is Kabir's.
