Yeah, I know what you are saying too. I have nothing against grey or negative characters. After all they make the show run.

Mayank's character does have potential (as much as I hate to agree) 😆. But that's up to the CVs if want to bring that forth or not. If they don't then Mayank's character gave Ankit fame but the character is still a little hollow. If I were Ankit, I would ask the CVs where Mayank's character is going because for the past god knows how long we have only seen him in one phase.

Haha, healthy discussions always make you see the other person's POV. Believe me when I say this, this is the first time after a long time I thought about Mayank without being angry and that's because of this.😆

Who are we to decide if he should quit or stay?? For us its just a show for him its how he earns his living. If he wants to move on to greener pastures I am completely fine with it but if he wants to stay back then he is welcome. Let s not forget he won the best new jodi on ZRA s something which he is 50% responsible for , somehow I dont see another couple from SSLK winning that ever 😕

IMO, I feel that Ankit should do what pleases him. If he is satisfied with the character of Mayank, gets a good paycheck, gets recognition & if the character of Mayank satisfies his desire of being an actor then I don't see any reason for him to quit the show.

The character of Mayank has many layers & he gets to potray them all. Yes the character of Mayank has been one dimensional for a while now with constant cribbing & whinning but if in future if he's character is shown redeemed then I think it would be a good pay off.

The comparison with Jagya is very apt Riva. The 2 characters have a lot in common & if Jagya can be shown to redeem, why not Mayank? Both of them were grey characters & mayanks character does have chances of being a good realistic character provided CV's potray it well.

He should redeem himself for his own sake rather than with the intention of impressing Gunjan. That makes his character really hollow. He should move away from Gunjan, forget her, divorce charu, think a lil more about his family & Career & ultimately get a nice girl & be settled in Life.

If Ankit is not happy with the character & if in future Mayank continues to remain one dimensional, does not show signs of redemption & if Ankit gets an even more better opportunity, he should go for it & leave the show. The actor would be replaced, nevertheless.

P.S: I cant believe I said so much about Mayank, the character I detest the most 😲 But guess this topic is more about Ankit so thinking from a broader perspective 😳

i don think Ankit is as popular as SSLK or Gunjan... viewership won't fall even if he leaves... moreover its roopal who is getting loads of offer... i din heard of any offer for Ankit... then why should he leave SSLK... because ppl ll remember him because of SSLK... his acting isn't anything great too... its my solo opinion... serials aren't only for leads... be it side,negative or anything... if one get s screen space he/she should continue... moreover SSLK is an established show... whats the guarantee that his next show ll be a hit too... so whats the use of moving out of an established show when you always have the risk ok ending a show less than 3 months... then you won't get new offer nor the one which u left...
