Because of that they never met until now so it really doesn't matter IF things would have been different since things are totally different now. Mayank and Gunjan are 2 young strangers who share no blood relation and are always around each other. So it is not a surprise that they may fall in love. And who said anything about marriage?

yes it does happen but in dooor ke rishte and not in such close relation alliance of which will mess many other relations. If they have not grown up together and are strangers to each other the fact does not change that they have a common sister-Rachna.In India marriages dont happen in such close relations whether HAD and IF keyword is there or not

Age doesn't define wheither a relationship will work or not. Age is just a number. What makes a relationship work is how the two people deal with each other, how bad they want it to work. There is only 4 years between my husband and myself, but 10 or 11 between my cousin and her husband. Both marriages are working great.:😛...
And i seriously hope there is no leap...and if there is one then for me it will be bye bye SSLK

I know it has been discussed upteenth number of times which I had started but I dont remember when it was decided that Mayank is in no way related to Gunjan. and they are not cousins...it is a discussion and we all have different views how can u impose ur opinion as a conclusion on others?

lol...no need to be personal...and am not imposing my opinion on you😛...so just chill😆😆...for me they are not related ...and there is nothing wrong if they fall in love and marry eventually as they are not blood related ...and i have seen this type of mariages...particularly in arrange marriage in India( i know here if it happens it will be a love one),,,Arranged marriages sometimes happen between relative, but not too close like cousins, but distant relatives...and imo...mayank and gunjan are not cousin just distant relatives😊

The actresses are 16 taking ableap wouldnt make sense. No one changes how they look at 16 that drastically. Plus the actress playing gunjan is already fairly older prob in her 20s so chnaging her makes no sense. Rachna can look older with proper makover ad gunjan already looks older. I doubt cvs would change them.

You know what??..earlier i had said that my masi's daughter got married to my bhua's son...now arent i the "rachna" in this case??😆 my cousin brother got married to my cousin sister!!...If this has happened in real life then y is it so hard for all of u to believe that these kind of things do happen in reality and there is nothing wrong with it because they are NOT related!!!...another example i recently found out is that one of my neighbor got her neice married to her husband's brother's son...that is the perfect example as it is exactly like Mayank and Gunjan's situation!!!!...so i'm telling u on my own personal experiences that these kind of things do happen and i fail to understand why it is hard for u guys to accept this and why u guys feel its wrong!!...Maybe majority of u have been raised abroad...but if u actually go to India and see the culture then you would know that these kind of things happen and it's alright becuase i want all of you guys to ask yourselves do u actually know ur cousins cousins in real life?...Most liekly the answer would be NO then how can we call them our relatives when we're total strangers to one another?/

khushi we have already had a discusion on this.your bua has gone to a different family and ur masi is from a different family and ur's is a different family. If u look closely no relation is getting affected. But in rachna's case only two families are there.mayank is from dayals family as he is rachna's chacha's son and is from the same family.this is how it works.in such relations one of the party like chachi and taiji of the bride or groom brings the alliance from her maternal family and not from sasural which is the same family of course.

even if u have a personal experience that too living out of india and u think its possible that doesnt change the society rules forever.i fail to understand why are u having so much problem in accepting that your case is an exception.

Maybe u dont know ur cousin's cousin but most of us do as we meet them on ocassions rigtht from our childhood.

So basically my case is different because my mom's sister's daughter got married to my dad's sister's son and not my dad's brothers son?...You know it's hard to explain what i mean because there are gona be alot of opinions clashing but i make a very simple point..most of u guys are saying these kind of marriages don't happen when they really do happen and i guess the biggest proof for that would be the directors showing Mayank and Gunjan's love story. Becuase if such things wouldn't occur in realtiy then no way the directors would have shown such a love story...they are aware of the fact that this happens and is acceptable..thats all i can say..rest i can't force all of u to change your views as everyone is entitled to there opinion😊

better not talk about how much reference the directors and T.V.producers in india take from real life or else we will end up arguing if most of the indian couples can have 3-4 marriages in a lifetime and have their saut or would be saut living in the same house ...or if somebody with a crimnal case behind and no money flying abroad easily...or if a person is capable of listening and taking tortures by somebody throughout the life and still can still keep mum...or if people can spend whole of their life plotting and planning against others...so leave that topic..😆
