Actually I think it is fine. In fact a lot of match making in India happens through this path where people look among extended families as long as there is no blood relations involved. In fact, my parents had a similar relation where they have some common cousins.

I think they can,it happens in south india as well. They are not related by blood neither are their gotra same as gotra is decided by the father s side. Akash s and dayal s family are totally not related .

OK we really don't now much about this but the directors do so its weird but its also right mayank can fall in love with gunjan cause only rachna her mom and dad are related to gunjan no one else from her family mayank and gunjan are strangers they can fall in love its possilbe ive seen it in real life in india its not illegal.

It is perfectlly ok. both are not related at all. it would be wrong if Mayank is Rachna's real brother. but he is Rachna's cousin not gunjan cousin. He is her Mousi's Dever" son. so they don't have any relations at all. not with blood not close relation.

first of all...gunjan is only 17 now mayank is may be above 20...i find this whole track wierd i thought that this show is about two chirpy teenage girls and their life...not all this love angles

Mayank and Gujan has no blood relations and especially they are living in the same house opposite attracts...When two are fighting and bickering which ends up liking or falling for each other...Nothing wrong..

But but

Gunjan is only 17 and Mayank has just graduated from college so he must be 21...Is he not too young to be engaged ?

They are no way related. Besides, it is not weird that they live together cause they only recently met so if they fall in love it is okay, it is not like they grew up in the same house.

Well Gunjan is almost 18 and that is a rural setting so i guess a 17 year old with a 21 year old is okay in society's eyes. I am not from India but i know old fashioned ppl may think like this.
