Kinshuk Quits!!! - Article

Reportedly, Kinshuk Mahajan aka Ranvir of Sapna Babul Ka... Bidaai has quit the show because he is unhappy with his role.

"I was very excited about my role as Ranvir because it had something different to play. But my excitement has now led to disappointment. When I was introduced in the serial, I had an important role. But in time my role became secondary in the show and I was more or less like a second lead to Angad. For weeks I have not been getting much screen space and due to this I was very disappointed. I thought I was doing injustice to myself and I couldn't take that anymore. Hence I quit the serial finally."

"When I gave the one month prior notice everybody was shocked and I was told that I would get a very meaty track in few weeks. But I had lost interest completely by the time and was unable to rethink on this matter. Even at the last moment they said that 'you worked so hard and when it is time to reap fruits don't go.' But I didn't change my mind. I am happy that everybody respected my decision," adds Mahajan.

Buzz is that Kinshuk has left Bidaai for a new show, "Dulha Bikta Hai", that's soon to air on Star Plus, where he will play the male lead.

Pulkit Samrat, last seen as Lakshya in Balaji soap Kyunki Saas Bhi Kabhi Bahu Thi, will now be replacing Kinshuk in the show. Not only has Pulkit been briefed about the character, he also has to watch previous episodes to get the feel of the story and his role.
