Rajan Shahi' new on stardesh a sequel to bidaaiii

Rajan Shahi's next show on Star, will have Adaaa Khan and Waseem as leads..

Rajan Shahi's Director's Kut, makers of successful shows like Sapna Babul Ka Bidaai and Ye Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai are now ready with their next big project on Star, this time for the revamped Star One, which is to be named Star Desh. The show tentatively titled 'Amrit Dhara' is said to be the sequel of Bidaai, the story line of which will again revolve around two sisters. However, the entire story line and cast will be different.

And for the first time, Director's Kut, (which has offered the industry new finds like Sara Khan, Parul Chauhan, Hina Khan, Neha Sargam) has gone in for a known face to play one of the female leads.

We hear that Adaaa Khan who essayed Akashi in Star Plus' Behenein has been roped in as lead of the show. The other lead however, is a new face to television. We also hear that Waseem Mushtaq, who was last seen in Colors' Bhagyavidhaata will play the male lead, opposite Adaaa. He will portray the role of an army officer.

We contacted Adaaa Khan, and she told us, "I have been offered many shows, but nothing is confirmed at the moment".

We called Waseem, who confirmed the news but refused to divulge information.

Our efforts to reach Producer Rajan Shahi were futile.

It hasn't yet been confirmed by rajan ji
And no press conference or any interview from his side so these could be tentatively on the lines of bidaaii just like the sapnay which was to be about sisters
Also it was starplus who said bidaaii would be back but the time is not yet set so this will be more on the lines of bidaaii like a spin off
Inevertheless good luck to the show

hmm intersting,it would have been lovely to see bidaai back with angini and on 9pm slot on star plus...but nevertheless good luck to rajan on his new venture..but I WANT APU BACK ASAP

There was a show called Sapney which was suppose to be on StarOne, which was about sisters I guess that they would be making it on those lines..

Stardeash is a rewamp of StarOne, i donno if Starplus is giving the right of the show for the revamp channel to have a sequel of Bidaaii if thats what the show is about.

If Rajan ji would clearly state if this is Bidaaii sequel one can get a clearer picture.

I would definatly wish for a continuation of Angini story and Taashi story later, But well whatever they plan maybe they would have some reason for it .

Well i think if they really had the intention to bring back Bidaai it would have beeen onscreen by now bt nothing 😡😡 i think Adaa will accept even if she didnt say anything im happy fr her she is a good actress and star1 is also a good channel

@Sameera... Even I wish Apurva comes back soon on television. I wouldnt mind seeing Apurva and Parul in a new show also maybe produced by Rajan ji.
They gave a great performance as Anmol and ragini.. I would still wait for Rajan ji to officlally say someting which woudl confirm that this show is a sequel of bidaaii as many a times its just what things around are said but once you hear from teh horses mouth its like on the dotted line..

This show has nothing to do with Bidaai.I dont think he ever had any intention of bringing Bidaai 2 with the original cast...EVER, it was only our own dream and we wasted time on it. This show is not even named Bidaai 2.The only connection it has with Bidaai is the two sisters factor.
