Bidaai says bye, will return

Bidaai, currently the longest running daily on Indian television, is coming to an end a little over three years after it went on air. A difficult decision for the channel and producer, since it was among the top five shows in recent months. "Personally, it was a tough call for me because Bidaai is my first show as producer and it's been an emotional journey. But we decided to end it on a high note," says Rajan Shahi who has directed the final two-hour special episode which will be telecast today. The show will have a happy ending with Alekh marrying Sulagna. Apparently, the channel toyed with the idea of shifting the show to another slot, but it was mutually decided to take a break and return with a new season. "Whether the new season will have the same star cast or we will opt for fresh faces through a generation leap is yet to be decided," adds Rajan

Oh looks like there will be a season 2. But how can Bidaai be Bidaai without it's original star cast? I am confused though..is it a continuation of the current story (well then what's the point of ending the show?) or new story with the same basic backdrop like Kitni Mohabbat Hai?

lol welll way they r ending it seems season 2 i son cards but i want apu parul atleast for 1 year and we see their journey as soem issues r not finalized,even alekh is marrying sakshi for compassion,he is not fully normal so we want same actors and same cute kids for 1 year uske baad rajna ji can have leap
