PART 39- PART A
It is the wedding week and the house is hustling bustling with all the excitement; relatives had started to arrive; it was similar situation in Kapoor mansion. It was mehndi night and all the girls had gathered to get their mehndi done. Ragini was doing mehndi in Gunni's hands and wrote A in the center of her palm indicating Abhay. Later all the ladies got their mehndi done and their respective husbands were feeding them dinner.
Alekh: Sakshi yahan baitho; lo khaao.
Inderjeet: Bai, Vasu yehi mauka hai sewa karwalo phir pata nahi kab mauka mile
Vasu: Haan sahi baat hai, Ragini aur Sakshi tum dono bhi aaj hi sewa karwalo; acha mauka hai
Anmol: Are mummy ji, hum to roz sewa karne ko tayar hain, kyun Alekh bhaiya
Alekh: Bilkul sahi kaha tumne Anmol
Gunni: Are par mujhe bhi bhookh lagi, mujhe kaun khana khilayega
Pratham: Main aur bacha party tumhari maddad kar dete hain; pehli aur aakhri baar tumhari sewa kar raha hoon to chup chap karwalo
Gunni smiled and Pratham and kids fed her. Everyone liked the brother sister bonding. Pratham would tease her in between and eat himself rather than feeding her. Right then her phone rang and Gunni indicated Tammy to pick it up as it was Abhay's call.
Tammy: Hello Jiju
Abhay: Hi Tammy, how are you?
Tammy: Main theek hoon, aap kaise ho?
Abhay: Main bhi bilkul theek; acha tumhari didi kya kar rahi hain?
Tammy: Didi ne apne hathon main mehndi lagayi aur hum sabh unhe khana khila rahe hain. Ek minute main baat karwati hoon.
Tammy held the phone next to Gunni's ear so she could talk.
Gunni: Haan Abhay bolo, kuch kaam tha?
Abhay: Kamaal hai, abh kaam ho tabhi call kar sakta hoon kya, waise nahi
Gunni: Nahi mera voh matlab nahi tha
Abhay: Khair, suna tumne mehndi lagwayi hai
Gunni: Haan sach main itna jhanjat haina, naa main khudh khana kha sakti hoon aur naahi kuch aur kaam sakti hoon. Kya Kar Rahe Ho!
Abhay: Maine kya kiya?
Gunni: Nahi voh Pratham se keh rahi thi; anyways Abhay main tumse baad main baat karti hoon; pehle yeh mehndi sookh jaaye.
Abhay: Theek hai, I will wait for your call. Bye
Gunni: Bye
It was almost past midnight now and Gunni had washed up her dried up mehndi and finally the colour of the mehndi was revealed. Gunni looked at her red glowing mehndi and she smiled to herself looking at that alphabet 'A' in the center of her palm. She laid on her bed and called up Abhay.
Abhay: Jee kahiye, mil gayi fursat madam ko humse baat karne ki
Gunni: Sorry Abhay, I was really busy earlier aur upar se haathon main mehndi ki wajah se phone par bhi baat nahi ho paayi.
Abhay: Its okay, main sirf mazak kar raha tha; anyways aur ghar main sabh tayarian kaisi chal rahi hain? Aur tumhari mehndi kaisi rang laayi?
Gunni: Sabh acha chal raha hai, sabh bahut busy hain. Aur mehndi ka rang bahut gehra chada hai. Ek minute main tumhe photo bhejti hoon.
She clicked picture of her palm and sent it to Abhay as a picture message. Abhay smiled looking at the picture.
Abhay: Are wah, mehndi to bahut achi lag rahi hai
Gunni: Tumhe pata hai jiski mehndi itna rang laaye uske baare main kya kehte hain?
Abhay: Kya kehte hain?
Gunni: Ki uska pati usse bahut pyaar karega
Abhay: Hmm yeh to bilkul sahi kaha jisne bhi kaha hai; bas tum wait karo shaadi ke baad I will prove it right.
Gunni (smiled and blushed): Acha ji?
Abhay: Ji bilkul. Khair mujhe lagta hai ki hum dono ko abh sona chahiye; main bhi thak gaya hoon. Tumhe bhi araam karna chahiye. Goodnight
Gunni: Goodnight Abhay
Abhay: Love you!
Gunni: Love you too, bye!
They hung up and shortly went to sleep. Next day, at both houses haldi rasam was conducted and finally the day had arrived which everyone had been waiting for. Its the wedding morning and house is busy-guests are coming in; everyone getting ready etc. Gunni was in her room and beauticians were getting her ready. Gunni wore purple coloured lehnga which was not too heavy and did simple makeup and light jewellery as she didn't want to overdo everthing and Abhay on the other hand had worn cream sherwani with purple duppatta (palla). Everyone was getting ready in their respective rooms.
Alekh: Sakshi, jaldi karo sabh wait kar rahe honge.
Sakshi: Bas Alekh Ji ho gaya, yeh necklace nahi set baith raha
Alekh: Lao main dekhta hoon
He went upto her and helped her tie knot of the necklace and he stood behind her smiling.
Alekh: Bahut achi lag rahi ho tum
Sakshi (smiled): Thanks aur aap bhi waise kam handsome nahi lag rahe
Alekh smiled at her compliment and they both walked out holding Sahil. On the other hand, Anmol and Ragini had also gotten ready.
Ragini: Anmol, please jaldi kijiye; aap to ladkiyon se bhi zayada time laga rahe hain
Anmol: Abh aap itna saj sawar ke tayar huyi hain ki aapke mukable mein main to kuch bhi nahi lag raha isliye koshish kar raha hoon ki thoda sa aur effort karke aapke saath thodi si matching kar paaun.
Ragini just smiled and nodded at his comment. She walked upto him and helped him with his tie.
While she tied her tie, Anmol held her by her waist and was just gazing into her eyes.
Ragini: Chaliye ho gaya.
Anmol: Jee chaliye; aur bache kahan hain?
Ragini: Voh already neeche hain, Kavya ke saath khel rahe hain.
Everyone gathered in the living room and Ragini and Sakshi went upto Gunni's room to bring her down.
Ragini: Gunni, aap bahut achi lag rahi hain
Sakshi: Haan bilkul, Abhay to bas dekhta hi reh jayega
Gunni: Chachi, sabh theek lag raha haina, kuch zayada to nahi?
Ragini: Nahi aap fikar mat kijiye. Chaliye der ho rahi hai
Gunni walked downstairs with Ragini and Sakshi and everyone were just in awe of her; Vasu and Inderjeet looked at her and how she grew up so fast and is already in wedding attire to set off her new journey. Gunni came downstairs and took blessings from Vasu and Inderjeet.
Inderjeet: God bless you, beta.
Vasu: Tum bahut sundar lag rahi ho, Gunni. Hum bahut khush hain aaj.
Tammy: Didi you look really pretty
Khushi: Haan bilkul fairy ki tarah
Gunni: Thank you my little munchkins!
Shortly everyone made their way to the gurudwara ensuring that they reach their early to welcome the groom side. It was 10 AM when they reached there and Gunni was in the room downstairs with her friends as she had to wait before she got called up. At 11 AM, groom side came and were welcomed inside. Gurudwara priest did ardas (prayer) for milni (where members of groom and brides' family meet formally and exchange a hug). They were later welcomed inside and were served refreshments. All the men and boys tied turban on their heads as they were about to enter Gurudwara and Abhay had also tied turban because otherwise they won't allow to do the ceremony. It was 11:30 AM when Abhay walked inside the main hall of the gurudwara and bowed his head and sat down in the front. Shortly after, Gunni walked in and behind her was Ragini and Anmol. She also bowed down to take blessings and sat next to Abhay. Priest announced that girl's father should come to do the palla rasam (same as gath-bandhan rasam) where girl's father takes palla of groom and gives it in girl's hand (they don't tie it together though in sikh weddings). Gunni looked around to her right side and signalled Anmol to come to her. Anmol came and bent down to hear what she had to say; Abhay was also listening.
Gunni: Chachu aapne poocha tha na mujhse ki mujhe shaadi main kya gift chahiye, to yehi hai voh gift jo main chahti hoon. Aap please yeh palle ki rasam karenge mere liye?
Anmol looked at Abhay who also nodded saying yes; Anmol nodded with teary eyes and gave the palla and placed it in Gunni's hands. The priest then started to sing the holy hymns and they took 4 laavan (4 pheras) around the holy book (Sri Guru Granth Sahib Ji- and being a sikh wedding and culture, they don't place sindhoor or mangalsutra but choora is acceptable). They bent down to take final blessings and did prayer. Around 12:30 the ceremony was conducted and they were married. They walked out of the hall and too blessings from elders. They all did the photoshoot and took pictures with everyone and later went down to have langar (food in gurudwara)
It was now 2 PM when the baraat was brought to Rajvansh mansion as it was decided that doli would go from their house. Ragini and Sakshi did the rituals and welcomed the couple inside and groom's family. They were served refreshments and it was almost 4 PM and time for doli ceremony. Everyone followed the groom side and gathered outside in the driveway; Gunni looked around at her house. She hugged Ragini and they both shared a hug while crying; Ragini wished her all the best. Sakshi also hugged her and told her that she is very lucky to find groom like Abhay and his loving family. Gunni hugged Alekh who was also crying but he blessed her wishing all the best and Inderjeet and Vasu did the same as well. Gunni bent down to hug Tammy and Khushi who were crying that their sister would be leaving them.
Tammy: Didi, aap promise karo ki aap humse jaldi milne aaoge
Khushi: Haan aur humain roz phone karoge
Gunni (crying): I promise main roz phone karungi
Abhay: Are Tammy, Khushi, tumhe yaad haina maine tum logon se kya kaha tha? Tum apni didi se milne kabhi bhi aa sakte ho, ok?
Tammy and Khushi nodded happily. Gunni walked upto Pratham who had also been crying but was not showing it.
Pratham: Good luck, fatty!
Gunni: Mooh chadha peepa!
She hit his chest playfully and they both broke down in tears. Pratham engulfed her in a hug and slowly made her walk to the car. Gunni reached near her car but stopped and her eyes were looking for someone.
Gunni: Chachi, Chachu kahan hain?
Ragini pointed towards front of the car where Anmol had been starting near the main gate. Gunni and Abhay walked upto him and took blessings from him touching his feet which made Anmol come out of his thoughts.
Gunni (crying): Chachu aap mujhe jaate waqt bye bhi nahi bolenge?
Anmol pulled her into a hug and sobbed loudly; for him she was just like his daughter and today after doing the palla rasam, he felt even more fatherly towards her as she had asked him to do such a task and gave him position of her father. Abhay knew Gunni was close to her Chachu and Chachu. Ragini walked upto them and slowly rubbed Anmol's back signalling him that its time to let her go and consoled him. Anmol slowly pulled her out of the hug and kissed her forehead and walked her to the car and made her sit comfortably. The car slowly pulled out of the driveway and Gunni sat inside crying waving off to them.
Ram: Acha bhai sahib abh ijazat dijiye humain bhi; waheguru ki kirpa se sabh bahut ache se ho gaya aur shaadi ka arrangement bahut acha tha. Itni khaatir daari ke liye shurkiya
Inderjeet: Are kaisi baatein kar rahe hain aap; sharminda kar rahe hain aap. Hum ladki waalein aur humara to faraz banta hai yeh sabh bachon ki khushi ke liye karna
Gautami: Bhabhi ji aap Gunni ki chinta mat kijiye; mera waada hai aapse ki usse wahan koi shikayat nahi hogi. Mujhe to khushi hai ki mujhe company dene ke liye ek beti ghar aa rahi hai. Aur yeh ek saas ka nahi, ek maa ka waada hai.
Vasu: Apne itna keh diya bas humain tasalli ho gayi aur humain yakeen hai aapke ghar main jahan saas maa hai aur sasur pita, wahan humari Gunni ko koi takleef ho hi nahi sakti.
Gautami and Vasu exchanged a hug and they wished everyone and left for their house to welcome the couple. Although Gunni and Abhay had reached home earlier, but they sat in their car as they had to wait for their parents to arrive to do the welcoming ceremony. Abhay placed hand on Gunni's hand to console her and she smiled back wiping her tears. Soon after, Ram and Gautami reached home and they went insde to welcome them. Abhay and Gunni walked inside and Gautami welcomed them by doing certain rituals and the couple took blessings from them.
Ram: God bless you beta
Gautami (kissed Gunni's forehead): Khush raho; bahut pyaari lag rahi hai meri beti.
Abhay: Maa, main bhi hoon
Gunni: Haan haan pata hai, yahan aa
She kissed his forehead too and blessed him.
Gautami: Khush reh aur meri beti ko bhi khush rakhna, koi shikyat nahi aani chahiye, samjhe?
Abhay: Jee mom, aap fikar mat kijiye aapko koi bhi shikayat ka mauka nahi milega.
Ram: Chalo beta, lets go inside. Sabh wait kar rahe hain.
They went inside and did few ceremonial games with family and friends where they find the ring from the milk filled with rose petals. Gunni found the ring and won.
Ram: Chalo beta Abhay yeh to hona hi tha, tu bhi mere par hi gaya hai. Main bhi haar gaya tha
Gautami: Yeh huyi na baat Gunni beta.
PART B
Its almost 10 PM now; everyone had dinner and played games etc. Everyone was tired too and all started to retire to their rooms. Abhay and Gunni were lead to their room by Gautami which was re-decorated and re-designed by Gautami. Abhay and Gunni wished her goodnight and retired to their room. Gunni was looking around and scanning the enviornment- her new room, she thought. She remembered her bedroom and the way she had kept her things etc. The room had dim table lights and few candles; the bed was decorated for newly wedded couple with flowers etc. Gunni walked further inside and smiled seeing a photoframe that was placed on side of her bed table that caught her attention. She picked it up and carassed it with her hands. Abhay came and stood beside her. It was the picture of Gunni and Abhay from their engagement day with both of their families.
Abhay: Engagement wale din par kheechi thi yeh picture
Gunni: Yea I remember; par yahan tumhare paas?
Abhay: Yea maine frame karake yahan rakhli ki tumhe acha lagega; I know you will miss them but atleast this way you can see them everyday.
Gunni was in awe as he thought so much about her; with teary eyes she smiled back and placed a soft kiss on his cheeks and leaned in to hug him.
Gunni: Thats really sweet of you, Abhay! Thank You!
Abhay: Voh to main hoon
He pulled her out of the hug and wiped her tears and kissed her forehead.
Abhay: Tum rote huye bilkul achi nahi lagti aur main tumhe hamesha haste huye dekhna chahta hoon. I know tum ghar par sabh ko miss kar rahi hogi but I promise hum unse milne har hafte jaaya karenge. Waise to main aur mom and dad poori koshish karenge ki tumhe wahan ki yaad naa aaye par phir bhi tumhara jab mann kare tum jaa sakti ho wahan unse milne.
Gunni: I know Abhay aur tumhare hote huye mujhe kisi cheez ki fikar nahi hai aur mom and dad itne ache hain ki mujhe apne real mom dad ki kabhi kami mehsoos nahi hogi.
Abhay: Khair abh yeh sabh baatein chodo, come I have got something for you.
He walked over to a closet and pulled out small box. He made Gunni stand in front of a mirror and stood behind her. He slowly wrapped a diamond chain around her neck with 'AG' locket which stood for 'Abhay & Gunni'. Gunni smiled seeing her gift and turned around to face Abhay.
Gunni: Bahut acha hai, Thanks! I love it
Abhay: Well abh yeh to tha tumhara gift, mera gift kahan hai? I hope tumne mere liye bhi ek wedding present khareeda hoga
Gunni stood there embarassed as she had not thought about it all and never had the time to get a gift either.
Gunni: Um actually...Abhay I am really sorry... I feel really bad but maine tumhare liye koi gift nahi khareeda, I mean mujhe time hi nahi mila shaadi se pehle; filhal to mere pass kuch nahi hai dene ke liye but I promise main bahut jald tumhe ek acha sa present lakar doongi.
Abhay: Well in that case we have a solution; actually tumhare pass hai gift jo tum hi mujhe de sakti ho.
Gunni: Kya? Kaisa gift?
Abhay came really close to her and Gunni was wondering what he was upto, he removed her pallu from head and opened her hair and kissed her forehead. Gunni smiled knowing what Abhay actually meant and her blushing was evident which made Abhay smile. He kept on walking towards Gunni who was walking backwards and they ultimately fell on the bed as Abhay laid on top of her. He could easily hear Gunni's heavy breathing and feel her heart pounding. He gently picked up her legs and laid her down properly and laid next to her. He kissed near her earlobe sending sensation down her entire body. He then moved ahead and placed a light kiss on her lips; Gunni placed her hands around his neck and responded back to the kiss; the kiss deepend and they were both breathless. Abhay whispered 'I love You' and Gunni whispered 'I love you too' blushing and the lights were shut and they had consummated their marriage to start a new life ahead.
Next morning, Gunni woke up and smiled to herself seeing Abhay laying next to her; she remembered the precious moments they shared last night. She saw the clock which was striking 8 AM and she quickly got out of the bed and headed towards the washroom. She came out after taking a shower wearing a light pink sari and had her wet hair open towards one side. She quickly went downstairs and saw Ram in the living room reading newspaper and having tea. She went upto him and bent down to take his blessings.
Gunni: Good morning, Papa
Ram: Are bas bas god bless you beta and good morning to you too
Gunni: Papa, mom kahan hain?
Ram: Beta voh kitchen main hongi, naashte ki tayari main busy
Gunni nodded and went to the kitchen where Gautami was busy preparing breakfast for everyone. Gunni went upto her and took her blessings as well; Gautami blessed her and in return, gave her a hug.
Gunni: Good morning, mom
Gautami: Good morning beta.
Gunni: Sorry mom, mujhe uthne main deri ho gayi. Layiye main apki breakfast tayar karne main apki madad kar deti hoon
Gautami: Are koi baat nahi beta, I can understand. Tum kitna thak gayi hogi aur acha kiya poori tarah rest kar liya tumne, aaj shaam ki reception party ke liye fresh rahogi. Aur rahi meri madad karne ki baat to voh main nahi karne doongi
Gunni: Lekin kyun? Aap kaam kar rahi hain aur main aise free baithi hoon, mujhe acha nahi lagega
Gautami: Voh to theek hai beta lekin humare yahan riwaaz hai ki bahu ko ek mahina kitchen ki zimedari nahi di jaati; so ek mahina tum kitchen ka koi kaam nahi karogi. Shaadi ka jab ek mahina poora ho jayega tabh hum sabhko kuch meetha banakar khilana.
Gunni: Okay mom theek hai, riwaaz hai isliye aapki baat maan rahi hoon.
Gautami: Aur yeh Abhay kahan reh gaya, abhi tak utha ke nahi?
Gunni: Nahi mom voh abhi tak so raha hai
Gautami: Yeh ladka bhi na; khair beta main baaton baaton main tumhe chai dena hi bhool gayi. Tum apni aur Abhay ki chai upar le jaao aur saath baithkar pee lena upar aur phir jaldi se neeche aa jana breakfast karne.
Gunni: Okay mom; laayiye.
Gunni took the tray and walked upstairs. She placed the tray on the side and sat on the bed next to Abhay.
Gunni: Abhay utho; subah ke 8:30 bajh rahe hain
Abhay: Hmmm bas 2 minute aur
Gunni: Abhay utho warna main tumhare upar paani daal doongi
Abhay: Uth raha hoon, baba.
He got up rubbing his eyes and sat up putting pillow behind his back. He was just amazed to see Gunni looking so beautiful as a perfect bride dressed in pink sari, her hair parted to one side of her shoulder, and red choora that adorned her arms. Gunni snapped her fingers to grab his attention and gave him his cup of tea.
Gunni: Good morning
Abhay: Good morning, Mrs Gunni Kapoor. How's your first morning?
Gunni: So far so good; pata hai kitni der ho gayi mujhe aaj uthne main, neeche jakar mom aur dad ko wish kiya. Maine mom ko kaha ki main unki kitchen main help kardeti hoon lekin unhone mana kardiya ki mujhe kitchen main ek mahina enter karna bhi mana hai
Abhay: Aur mujhe ek mahina office main enter hona mana hai
Gunni: Kyun?
Abhay: Mom chahti hain main shaadi ka pehla ek mahina sirf unki laadli bahu ke saath spend karoon aur use apna poora time doon.
Gunni: Bilkul sahi kaha unhone; khair tum jaldi jakar fresh ho jao, mom aur dad humara wait kar rahe hain breakfast ke liye
Abhay: Okay main bas yoon gaya aur yoon aaya
Abhay went to freshen up while Gunni fixed the bed and arranged the bed sheets. She sat down in front of the mirror to comb her hair as they had dried. As she was getting ready, Abhay walked out wearing a black kurta. Gunni got up seeing Abhay and Abhay walked to stand behind her and he kept his chin on her right shoulder.
Abhay: You are looking absolutely beautiful (and places a kiss on her neck)
Gunni smiled at his compliment and turned around to face him; and gave him a quick kiss on his cheek.
Gunni: Thank you my dear husband, abh humain neeche chalna chahiye.
Abhay smiled and they both walked downstairs. Ram and Gautami watched them coming down and they both smiled looking at them as a perfect couple. Abhay took blessings from his mom and dad.
Abhay: Good morning mom, good morning dad
Ram: A very good morning to you too
Gautami: Good morning beta; baitho hum kabse tumhara wait kar rahe hain. Gunni beta, lo khaana thanda ho raha hai.
Ram: So, aaj ka plan kya hai?
Gautami: Plan? Aaj reception ke ilawa aur kuch nahi honewala; aur aap please phone karke sare arrangements check kar lijiyega.
Ram: Jee bilkul jaisa aap kahein
Gautami: Gunni beta, waise to shaadi ke agle din hi phere ki rasam ki jaati hai jismein ladki apne mayake jaati hai par meri bhabhi ji se baat ho gayi thi ki hum log kal raat ko dinner par jayenge.
Gunni: Yeh bhi theek hai, mom.
After finishing breakfast, Gunni just joined Gautami who was showing her around the house properly; telling her about their house, showing pictures of their relatives, etc.
Gautami: Aur Gunni yeh humare kuch khaandaani gehne hain; main chahti hoon ki abh tum iski zimedaari lo
Gunni: Lekin mom, main? Itni badi zimedaari... aap hi rakhiye na?
Gautami: Beta lekin isme tumhari bhi jewellery hai to tumhe zaroorat hogi na
Gunni: Haan to koi baat nahi aapke paas ho mere paas ho ek hi baat hai aur jab bhi zaroorat padegi main le loongi na aapse. Waise bhi main itni heavy jewellery kam hi pehanti hoon
Gautami: Acha theek hai; is locker ki chaabi hamesha safe main rehti hai to wahan se le lena.
After chatting, they went to their respective rooms and Gunni was busy arranging her stuff and clothes in her new room and closet. It was evening now and they all got ready for evening's reception. Gunni wore royal blue sari with silver jewellery whereas Abhay wore royal blue shirt with white tie and black suit. Ram and Gautami were waiting for them downstairs; Gautami wore black sari and Ram wore a black suit. Soon, Abhay and Gunni joined them.
Ram: Wow you look amazing
Abhay: Thanks dad!
Ram: Main tumhari nahi apni beti ki tareef kar raha hoon
They all laughed at Ram's comment and Abhay looked at Gunni who was laughing as well.
Abhay: Kya dad aap bhi mom ki tarah apni bahu ki side le rahe ho
Gautami: Meri beti hai hi itni khoobsoorat, waise tu bhi theek thak lag raha hai
Abhay: Oh thanks mom for such a compliment
Ram: Anyways its getting late, we should leave
After 40 minutes they reached the venue and Ram and Gautami stood at the entrance to personally welcome the guests and Rajanvansh family. Gunni and Abhay were to walk in later when all the guests would have arrived; till then they were downstairs in one of the hotel rooms. It was 7 pm when Rajanvansh family walked in and were welcomed by Ram and Gautami. Men exhanged hug with each other and ladies did as well.
Ram: Welcome, please come!
They all walked in and sat in their respective tables; by 7:30 all the guests had arrived. Exactly 8 PM, announcement was made for everyone to welcome the couple. Everyone stood up and clapped as Gunni and Abhay walked inside together holding each other's hands and sat on the stage on chairs especially designed for them. After the snacks was served, it was time for Abhay to make a formal speech.
Abhay: Good evening everyone and thank you for joining us on such an auspicious occassion. I would like to dedicate this speech this to my beautiful wife who is also my best friend. Gunni, I am really lucky to have someone like you in my life and I cannot thank god enough that he blessed me to have a life-partner like you. I won't make this speech long but I would just say that I promise that I will always be there for you and will love and respect you till my last breath. And Thank you for coming in my life!
Everyone clapped while Gunni sat there with teary eyes and gave a smile to Abhay. Abhay bent down to ask her for a dance and the couple made their way to the dance floor for first dance of the evening. The limelight was only focusing on them and everyone's eyes were on this couple. The song playing in background "Pee Loon". Gunni was just lost in his eyes and their chemistry was evident to the audience. After their dance, they cut the cake and fed each other and dance floor was open for others to join. Rajanvansh family joined them and Gunni hugged and met everyone. Abhay touched their feet and greeted them.
Abhay: Namaste Chachu, Namaste Chachi
Alekh: Namaste
Anmol: Hi Abhay
Ragini: Gunni, aap bahut achi lag rahi hain is sari main
Sakshi: Aur aap dono ki jodi bhi bahut achi lag rahi hai; bhagwan kare kisi ki nazar na lage
Abhay: Hey brother how are you?
Pratham: I am good Jeej aur waise bhi aap itni badi tension ko apne saath le gaye to I am even better
Gunni: Haan isliye kal itna ro raha tha na doli ke waqt
Pratham: Abh voh sabh to karna padta hai you know, thodi acting emotional dikhne ke liye
Ragini: Haan voh to dikh hi raha tha, acting itni achi thi ki kal raat ko sote samay bhi practive kar raha tha, kyun Pratham?
Pratham got caught and everyone laughed at him.
Gunni: Hello my little munchkins? How are you?
Tammy: Hum theek hain didi
Khushi: Aap kaise ho? Aapne humko miss kiya?
Gunni: Main bhi theek hoon aur maine aap sabh ko bahut miss kiya lekin pata hai mere paas tum sabh ki picture hai mere bed ke pass to jab bhi main tum sabh miss karti hoon na to use dekh leti hoon
Tammy: Oh thats a good idea, didi
Gunni: Yea idea tumhare jeeju ka hai
Everyone was listening to their conversation and they all had relieving smile on their face knowing that Abhay really cares for their Gunni.
Abhay: Acha abh bahut baatein hogi, lets all sit together for dinner. I think bade papa aur mummy already mom dad ke saath hain
They all sat down on a big round table and had dinner together. Gunni was really happy to have her whole family together. They were all chatting and cracking jokes and had good time. It was 11 PM and party was over and everyone started to leave the venue
Inderjeet: Okay Gunni beta, Abhay abh hum chalte hain
Gunni: Bye bade papa
Vasu: Aur tum log kal aa rahe ho na dinner pe?
Gunni: Ofcourse; I can't wait.
Anmol: Okay Abhay, see you tomorrow. Goodnight
Abhay: Sure Chachu, goodnight. Goodnight Tammy, Khushi
Tammy & Khushi: Goodnight Jiju!
They all left to their respective homes and retired to their rooms. Anmol changed into his kurta whereas Ragini had already changed and was placing clothes in the closet. Suddenly she felt her head getting heavy and as if she was getting dizzy; Anmol noticed her meanwhile Ragini sat on bed to ensure she doesn't fall.
Anmol: Ragini, aap theek to hain, kya hua?
Ragini: Pata nahi achaanak se sar thoda bhari bhari lagne laga; shayad thakaan ki wajah se
Anmol: Aap rukiye main dawa laata hoon aur subah doctor se consult karenge
Anmol quickly grabbed her painkiller for headache and glass of water. Ragini took the pill and laid down next to Anmol who was massaging her head.
Ragini: Aap rehne dijiye, theek ho jayega bas mamooli sa sir dard hai
Anmol: Are aise kaise; aur waise bhi pichle kuch dino se aap shaadi ki bhaag daud main itna busy thi ki apna khayal nahi rakha aapne
Ragini: Haan mujhe lagta hai bas thakawat ki wajah se ho gaya hoga aisa; khair aaj reception bhi bahut achi thi. Gunni ko itna khush dekhkar mujhe bahut khushi huyi
Anmol: Haan bilkul; Abhay is the perfect choice for our Gunni. He really cares for her.
Ragini: Kal voh raat ko khaane par aanewale hain; kal Gunni ki favourite cheezein banne wali hain
Anmol: Oh thats good, par aap kal ke baad poora rest karengi.
Ragini: Theek hai baba, promise. Abh so jayiye, goodnight
Anmol: Goodnight.

On the other hand, Abhay and Gunni had also retired to their rooms. Gunni had changed and laid down on bed while Abhay was still freshening up. Abhay walked out after few minutes and laid next to Gunni smiling to see her asleep already. He looked at her and the smile on her face was vivid even while she slept; she looked even beautiful in her sleep, thought Abhay.
Abhay: Gunni?
Gunni: Hmmm
Abhay: So gayi?
Gunni: Hmmm
Abhay: Okay, Goodnight
Gunni slowly opened her eyes.
Gunni: Sorry Abhay, pata nahi kaise itni jaldi aankh lag gayi
Abhay: Its okay, main to vaise hi pooch raha tha; thak to main bhi gaya hoon par party was good
Gunni: Haan sabhke saath kitna enjoy kiya; mom aur dad ne bahut acha arrangement kiya.
Abhay: Anyways tumhe neend aa rahi hai, abh humain sona chahiye. Goodnight (he places on her forehead)
Gunni: Goodnight.
Abhay turned around facing his back towards Gunni and Gunni, after 2 mins, places a kiss on his cheek whispering a thank you; making Abhay turn and face her.
Abhay: Yeh kiss aur thank you kisliye?
Gunni: Kiss-reception par itni sweet speech dene ke liye aur thank you-meri life main aane ke liye
Abhay (smiled): You are welcome!
And they slept cuddled in together smiling even in their sleep.
Its next morning now and at Rajvansh mansion everyone is gathered at the breakfast table. Ragini and Sakshi were serving everyone and Anmol had to step aside a little to attend an important phone call. He was just standing nearby but facing his back towards everyone. Suddenly, Ragini felt dizzy again and almost fell down till Sakshi held her to prevent her from falling down. Alekh was sitting closer so he quickly lifted her and hearing the noise and everyone talking, Anmol turned around surprised to what just happened. He followed everyone upstairs as Alekh carried her upstairs whereas Inderjeet instructed Pratham to call the doctor. Alekh placed her on bed and they all waited for the doctor to arrive.
Vasu: Achanak kya ho gaya, Ragini ko?
Anmol: Mumma, raat ko bhi Ragini ki tabiyat kuch theek nahi lag rahi thi, sir dard tha. Maine painkiller dedi thi tab ke baad main doctor ko dikhayenge
Sakshi: Lagta hai shaadi ki bhaag daud ki wajah se didi ki tabiyat kharab ho gayi hai; itne dino se ache se araam nahi huya.
Just as they were talking, doctor came and told everyone to step outside the room while she did the checkup. After 20 mins or so, Ragini regained consciousness and doctor did the checkup and walked outside.
Vasu: Doctor, kya hua Ragini ko achanak? Abh kaisi hai uski tabiyat?
Doc: Ragini bilkul theek hai; haan thodi si weakness hai; Kuch din araam karengi to theek ho jayengi par is chakar ki wajah kuch aur hai
Sakshi: Aur kaunsi wajah, doctor?
Doc: Mrs. Rajvansh aap daadi banne wali hain; Ragini is pregnant. Congratulations!
Everyone was too surprised to react and their happiness was beyond limits!
Vasu: Kya? Thank you doctor, koi ghabrane wali baat to nahi haina?
Doc: Bas jaise maine kaha ki thodi weakness hai aur BP thoda low hai; par shaadi ke ghar main kaam ki wajah se yeh normal hai par pregnancy ke mamle sabh kuch theek hai. Bas regular checkup karwate rehiyega.
Vasu: Jee zaroor, thank you so much.
Everyone was elated; Alekh, Inderjeet, Pratham, Vasu all hugged Anmol and congratulated him. Anmol, who was too happy, was still sinking in this big news. They all walked in and Ragini sat up in her bed properly. Vasu hugged her and kissed her forehead. Inderjeet placed his hand on her head blessing her.
Vasu: Ragini, tum jaanti nahi tumne humain kitni badi khushi di hai. Congratulations!
Inderjeet: Haan beta, abh is ghar main ek aur naya mehmaan aane wala hai. Thank you, beta
Ragini just smiled knowing how happy everyone is for her. Alekh and Sakshi also hugged her.
Alekh: Tumne to humain dara hi diya tha, Ragini. Par main bahut khush hoon, bahut bahut mubarak ho
Sakshi: Haan didi, abh jald hi koyi Sahil, Tammy, aur Khushi ke saath khelne wala aa jayega
Pratham walked in after escorting the doctor out and he cheerfully hugged Ragini
Pratham: Congratulations, Chachi! I am so happy for you! Main yeh good news Gunni ko abhi batata hoon
Ragini: Nahi abhi nahi, Pratham. Shaam ko voh aa rahe haina sabh tab surprise denge warna voh yeh khabar sunte hi yahan aa jayegi
Pratham: Okay yeh bhi sahi hai, shaam ko surprise karenge
Inderjeet: Lekin bache ke honewale naana aur naani ko to hum abhi phone karke batate hain.
Everyone walked out the room and Ragini looked upto Anmol who slowly walked towards her and sat next to her. He just stared at her whereas Ragini was waiting for him to say something. He had teary eyes and he kissed her forehead and engulfed in a hug and sat like that for few minutes.
Anmol: Thank you, Ragini for such a wonderful surprise. Isse bada tohfa mere liye kuch ho hi nahi sakta. Ek pita hone ke ehsaas to mujhe hai, Tammy jaisi pyaari beti di hai mujhe bhagwan ne lekin pehli baar main is pal ko jee raha hoon; aur is naye mehmaan ke aane tak ka safar, voh ehsaas, voh pal main aapke saath jeeonga.
Ragini: Hum yeh pal saath saath jeeyenge, Anmol aur jab aap mere saath hain mujhe kisi baat ka dar nahi. Yeh aane wala mehmaan humare is rishte aur pyaar ki nishaani hai.
They shared a hug and Anmol told her to rest as in the evening, Gunni and her in-laws would be coming over. Ragini sat in her bed watching as kids came upto her who were told about this news by Sakshi.
Tammy: Mumma, mujhe bhi khushi ki tarah ek bhai chahiye
Ragini (smiled at her innocent request): Beta, abh yeh to bhagwan ke haath main hai ki voh apko bhai dega yaan behan lekin phir bhi main unse kahungi ki voh aapki baat sunle
Khushi: Haan maasi maa phir hum sabh milkar uske saath khelenge
As they were talking, Ragini's parents, Vineet and Malti walked in who were elated hearing such happy news. Kaushalaya hugged her and Prakashchand blessed her.
Kaushalaya: Bahut bahut mubarak ho beta, jaise hi humain pata chala hum chale aaye. Tabiyat kaisi hai?
Ragini: Theek hai maa, bas thakawat ki wajah se thoda BP low ho gaya tha
Prakashchand: Bhagwan ka lakh lakh shukar hai ki itni achi khabar sunne ko mili; beta apna aur aane wale mehmaan ka khoob khayal rakhna
Ragini: Jee bauji.
Vineet and Malti also hugged her and congratulated her. Kavya also wished her bhua
Vineet: Main bahut khush hoon Ragini, dubara Maama banne ki khushi main
Malti: Wakya Ragini, bahut achi khabar di tune to. Apna khayal rakhna aur waqt par checkup karwati rehna
Ragini: Jee bhabhi, aur aap sabh haina mera khayal rakhne ke liye
They all sat and talked and after hour or so, Sharma family left and Ragini took a little nap. It was 7 in the evening now and Gunni had arrived with her family. Ragini and Sakshi did little ritual pooja to welcome the couple home first time after the marriage as phera rasam. Gunni hugged her Chachis and both and Abhay took their blessings. They greeted everyone and were welcomed inside. They were served snacks and everyone was busy chatting etc. Gunni went inside the kitchen later on to see what her Chachis were upto.
Gunni: Chachi main kuch help karoon?
Sakshi: Nahi bilkul nahi, khana tayar hai hum bas serve karne hi waale hain
Ragini: Haan aur waise bhi aap yahan shaadi ke baad pehli baar aayi hain to aap kaam nahi kar sakti.
Gunni: Okay theek hai lekin kamse kam main table set karne main to aapki madad kardeti hoon; layiye mujhe dijiye.
They all walked out taking dishes and set up the table. Everyone gathered for dinner and enjoyed dessert after dinner. It was almost 10 PM now and Inderjeet decided to share the good news with them as a surprise before they leave.
Ram: Bhai abh humain chalna chahiye
Inderjeet: Ek minute bhai sahib, aap sabhke liye ek surprise hai- well ek good news hai jo hum kabse wait kar rahe the aapse share karne ke liye; par socha ki jaate waqt surprise denge
Gunni: Kaisi news bade papa?
Anmol and Ragini smiled and looked each other while Ragini was also little shy.
Inderjeet: Khabar yeh hai ki hum phir se dada banne wale hain; Ragini ne aaj subah hi hum sabhko yeh khush khabri sunayi hai.
Gunni and everyone else was elated hearing this news; Gautami and Vasu shared a hug and Ram congratulated Inderjeet as well.
Ram: Are wah, bahut bahut mubarak ho aapko bhai sahib
Gautami: Itni badi khush khabri; aap sabhko bahut badhayi ho
Anmol and Ragini took blessings from Ram and Gautami.
Ram: Are bas bas, khush raho. Hone wale papa ko bahut bahut badhayi
Anmol: Thank You Uncle
Gautami: Aur hone wali maa ko usse jayada; beta apna aur aane wale mehman ka khoob khayal rakhna
Ragini: Jee zaroor, thank you Aunty.
Gunni, hugged her Chachi for few minutes, and then hugged her Chachu as well.
Gunni: Wow! I am so happy for you! Chachu main yahan nahi hoon lekin aap promise kijiye aap Chachi aur mere aane wale bhai/behan ka khoob khayal rakhenge
Anmol: Jee madam apka hukam sar aankhon pe
Gunni: Aur Chachi, aapko subah pata chala aur abh mujhe bata rahi hain?
Ragini: Humne socha ke aap shaam ko aa hi rahe ho to kyun na yeh news personally di jaaye as a surprise.
Abhay also came up and hugged Anmol and Ragini congratulating them.
Abhay: Many many congratulations to both of you, what an awesome news
Anmol: Thank You Abhay
Abhay: Aur Chachi, hum sabh eagerly wait karenge naye mehman se khelne ke liye
Ragini (smiled): Bilkul
Ram: Acha abh humain ijazat dijiye aur thanks for lovely dinner
Gautami: Aur usse bhi achi itni badi khushkhabri ke liye
Gunni hugged Ragini once more and kissed her cheeks saying "Take care"'; soon they all left. Ragini and Anmol were happy after sharing their big news with everyone and getting beautiful wishes from everyone. Gunni, on the other hand, was more than happy for her lovely Chachu and Chachi knowing that their love has become stronger over the years and this new bundle of joy will bring them even closer than before; a symbol of their love and everlasting relationship.
