Sonia was two-timing Ranvir. What kind of values are those? Yes Sonia should have realized that had she married Ranvir, Ranvir would have given her all his wealth without her asking for it. But for Sonia that came with teh extra baggage of marriage and a joint family. Sonia was ONLY interested in money. Btw, even Sonia understood that Vasu was the main person she needed to have on her side along with Ranvir.

Exactly ... we all couldn't accept Sonia.. what if she married Ranvir and then later fell in love with him?

SO why accept Sakshi and not accept Sonia.

Cos Sonia was never promoted as the lead!And her intentions were clear!As for Sakshi,one thing she is the lead,so there will be repentance and other she is just a puppet in her BF's hands.May be he drugged her!That's also a possibility and we know once is enough in dramas to get pregnant!Drugged might be far fetched but she might have thought to show her love for him and it must be an imp thing for her since she was devoid of love all her life!

^Exactly! I find it hard to believe that Sonia wasn't physically intimate with anybody. Just because it wasn't explicitly stated doesn't mean it didn't happen.

I will say it's your fault Kez!I was at peace just reading the posts lol.And thought of more to add like I said in PM but thought against it!

Sonia was a money-minded and 2 timing girl. She not only wanted to marry Ranveer and then divorce him later for money but also used another guy(her fiancee) to send her abroad for studies. lol She was from a good family.
Sakshi is an orphan who is completely loyal to Tarun. She has no plans to marry Alekh. She is being tricked by Tarun who is the mastermind behind all this. He keeps telling her that RF wouldn't have chosen her as their bahu if their son was normal. She is shown to feel guilty for her actions.

Is there no difference between Ranveer and Alekh ? Ranveer was in love with Sonia, a handsome and rich guy where as Alekh is mentally unstable who doesn't even know the meaning of marriage and still living with Sadhana's memories. Not just that he has a daughter from first marriage.

Not trying to justify her actions but I don't see any similarities between the 2 situations. In fact Tarun is really a male version of Sonia in this case.
