Bani, I know that pregnancy is not acceptable. But I was talking about the social message..If the message is loud and clear for even 1 or 2 people who've gone or have thoughts about going astray, then it's just worth it :)

I get what you mean. Her character seems odd in a serial like Bidaai , where the leads are all girls with pristine values and values are clearly defined : self-sacrificing etc etc .

Maybe I judge values differently but I also know that the average viewer of Bidaai would not agree with me.

It was her choice to trust Tarun out of love or whatever. She is equally responsible for it as much as Tarun.

Oh my god! I so totally agree! I am all for personal responsibility....i feel all these shows try to excuse mistakes and misdeeds by blaming everyone else except the people responsible...

Three cheers for your post!

They already showed prostitution scandal, adultery before the leap. This isn't the same Bidaai anymore, its season 2. So many things have changed, they are showing something different now.

There was article stating that sakshi is not an ideal bahu. Who knows what the CTS have in store for us?? Anything can happen.

Thats true. But what is also true is that she must have decided to take it to to the next level only because she was promised marriage. In which case , Tarun has to take the bigger share of the blame as he never has or had any intention of marrying her.

She's not an ideal bahu coz she's came there to teach Vasu a lesson. So how could she be an ideal bahu? 😆
In true words, she IS, rather say was an ideal bahu where she wanted to teach a lesson to Vasu by letting her know that she can't play with anyone's life just like that..
Later on, Tarun corrupted her thoughts. 😆

Thanks! :) Me too. Yes, shows tend to do that, I think so that viewers will continue to accept the character, I guess. I am still confused about this whole Alekh-Sakshi-Tarun and Khushi track.

I don't know why..But I get a feeling that somewhere or the other this track will include Guni too. There was an article about Tarun having a romantic relationship with someone..That looked like Guni. 😆
Her character must have been introduced for a reason..The reason could very well be this.

Yeah, tell me about it, i hate it...it's taking tie away from Angini!
I think by bringing Tarun in they are slyly trying to find justifications for Sakshi....which is just not right. She is responsible for her own actions...tarun manipulates her, okay, but she is the one who is doing everything, she can easily stop at any time....it;s ridiculous...okay she isn't an out and out criminal like Tarun, but she shares the blame...
As for the premarital sex...it takes two to tango, so both parties are equally responsible...

maybe i'm old fashioned...wrong is wrong, there's no 1/4 wrong and 3/4 wrong....

But it was still her decision to trust Tarun and his promises, she could have told him to wait till marriage as she is not comfortable with premartial intimacy. Lot of people make lots of promises to one in life, but it's one's choice to trust them or not.
