@Bani
Seems there is good discussion going on here about the new girl. Havent read in detail.
But, as Suchitra has mentioned, I too have no interest in this new track 🤢
I like this actress. I have seen her in Amber-Dhara. She is a good actress. But, somehow I dont find logic in a totally new story of Sakshi-Alekh. May be my perceptions will change later after the story unfolds, but now a big 👎🏼 from my side.

I understand Pallavi..its really difficult to see Alekh and Ragini with someone else, we have sort of got used to seeing Ragini-Ranveer and Alekh-Sadhna together. But if you leave aside Bidaai as a show and think of real-life situations, then Ragini and Alekh need to lead a complete life, at least for the sake of the children. Alekh is reduced to square one, but for Khushi at least, he needs to get normal and if Sakshi can do that, and also be a mother to Khushi, it will be really good for all three of them. I think the soul of Sadhna is alo not happy to see Alekh like this and Khushi living with an emptiness. How many questions might be raised against Sadhna's character, but its undeniable that she had nothing except good wishes for Alekh and she would never like to see Alekh unhappy. Sadhna was the girl who was like a shadow to Alekh, when he needed her the most. She never left him, till he told her to leave the house.

Yes, Alekh and Ragini needs to move on. But, the sad thing is Bidai has lost its original flavor. The story was about two sisters and their totally different yet similar personalities, be it outside/inside. Sagini were like two body one soul. It was the story of these sisters, their love, rift, happy and sad moments in life. Alekh and Ranvir comes next. The story unfolded keeping Sagini in the central. Rest all the characters are important, but Sagini were the leads of the show.
I know it is easy to sit and criticize directors, cts and script writers. They have the most difficult job of executing the work. I do appreciate that. But, I (am sure like me many) had more expectations from RS and his team. When RS started his shows, Ekta's shows started loosing viewers. Ok no offense to Ekta's fans, but I never liked any of Ekta's shows. So when Bidai started, it was a totally beautiful and new story where there were no vamps (except Avni) and it revolved around love between the sisters. So it came as a breeze for the people who wanted to see something different on TV. But it is sad to see Bidai also becoming like other normal shows and shows some illogical tracks, illogical ends to some of the tracks, missing characters (Dolly, Karan, Angad....), leap, etc..... Wanted to see positivity in a different way.
It happens with many directors/producers, I suppose. JD (of BBB) was very promising when he started BBB. But, now his new serials are also showing the same melodrama. I think it is difficult to show new and fresh ideas continuously. I am happy atleast there are some in Bollywood (Hirani, AAmir khan, AB etc....) who show positivity with total entertainment package.
I dont know how the story of this new girl goes. She is supposed to be real and vulnerable as per Sulgna's interview. I dont understand this real concept. But according to me, Alekh himself is vulnerable and if he gets a vulnerable wife dont know how it is going to be. Must wait and watch.

@Bold - It is due to Sadhna's existence, Alekh became normal and gained confidence. Though, immediately after becoming normal, he started to ignore Sadhna (even before rift track), it is due to Sadhna, he has learnt to make a living for himself without Rajvansh's name. The "Dil jaaniya" song was apt for them (both happy and sad versions). The meaning of each and every line portrayed their unique love story. We get to see many love stories on TV. So there is nothing great in seeing one more love story with usual fight from elders and all those purana stuff. But Sadhna and Alekh's love story was something different. It was spiritual and unique. I still remember those days when Sadhna used to take care of mentally unstable Alekh and that really was the cutest phase of the serial.
By showing a new girl, I feel they are doing injustice to old love story. I read somewhere about some people discussing about "kuch kuch hota hai " and this coming new track between Alekh and Sakshi. I feel, KKHH was a totally different story where Rahul and Anjali were best of buddies even before Tina came into Rahul's life.
Anyhow, Bidai is setting a trend in taking ideas from many movies....😆

Exactly, Love can change ppl....If it is something one never got! This is exactly Sakshi's case..I have a feeling that Ragini will play a crucial role. Initially, She won't accept it but seeing the improvment in Alekh's life she will. She will Help Sakshi and Sakshi will see Ragini as an older sister she never had.

Exactly, i can see Sakshi seeing Ragini as a older sister - and this is something i feel Sakshi will get attach to coz she hasnt had anyone or someone to call her own
To be honest i dont see the same love story repeating here, yes the if you look at the bigger picture yes its similar - unstable man, and a woman marrying him but here there are differences to the whole package now

Actually, all the production houses need to work as per the wish of the channel, sometime they cannot do what they want to do...
if someone has seen Bidaai from the beginning, those people can evaluate Sadhna's character very well. Though her sisterly concerns were predominant, she was tried to be portrayed as a good human being..her good feelings towards Kaushi, Nani, Vinu say that all. If a person is humane, everything falls in place.Good people are always blamed, because more than their good acts, what is remembered, how can their actions be questioned. Vasu called Sadhna "Nurse", some supported that, some vehemently protested. But again this same Vasu is made to utter the words on Friday that "a nurse will just take care of Alekh as a duty, not put heart and soul into it and thus she wants someone like Sadhna, a wife for Alekh". Vasu at last understood the difference between "nurse" and "wife". I still remember that Sadhna never left RH till she was driven out by Vasu, and then again she came back to ask Alekh, but Alekh also told her to leave. There was nothing left in their marriage. Its true that both Alekh and Sadhna had suffered because of the outside people, they loved each other but they never got to spend anytime with each other. But still the bond they formed was unique. There was a different flavour in their love story. Even the "Piya o Piya" song does complete justice to their love story.
But, Sdahna is gone now. Alekh has to get normal at least for Khushi. If Sakshi can do that, it will be great. But definitely, as Lennie said, there should be a prior bond between Khushi and Sakshi and then Sakshi should do her part for Alekh. This suggestion seems very reasonable to me.

Vasu is very right, there is a big difference to what a nurse can do and what a wife can do
Just like Ragini, she can do all for Alekh as a sister in law and his guardian in a way, but it cant come close to what a wife can do for Alekh - i hope i made sense
As for the whole story and love story, from Sakshi pov, its will be hard coz Alekh is unstable (which Sadhna had) but along with a 8yr old daughter and his Sadhna talks and where is she and she will come back - this is what Sakshi will have to deal with, there is a difference to what Sadhna had to deal with and now Sakshi and also Sadhna is everywhere in that house and she has to deal with that and honour that as well - that will be interesting
Sadhna had other baggage as well - like Ragini and her shaadi, the deal with Vasu, the house etc
With Sakshi it will all those things mentioned above, and being and trying to fit in amongst all in the family and that crave of love and not having that upbringing
Like Alekh she is also adhoori in a way

well said. Sadhna had totally many other things to worry about. She had altogether different issues to deal with. Actually, I am happy that Vasu can realise the difference between a nurse and a wife, because previously she had addressed Sadhna as Alekh's nurse instead of Alekh's wife. But then again, she was a completely different person.
Sakshi's test is something different. As Mrs. Alekh rajvansh, she will be intentionally or unintentionally compared to Sadhna always. This can create a lot of pressure on her, as her love, concern everything will be measured keeping Sdahna as a standard.

Thats what i mean, Sakshi's test is different and hard coz everywhere and mostly everytime its gonna be compared and looked upon, and that pressure can bring you down in some ways so much
