Hypocrisy on Truth ideal- Bidaai

Today.. Mamaji explains to Anmol how hiding one truth that could destroy everything should be hidden from everyone. It's the logic.. if one lie can make everyone happy then it's fine...

But in Bidaai, Mamaji and Sadhna preached truth, no matter what outcome... (rmr Sadhna's truth and Ranvir jail...)

Both Sadhna and Anmol are burdened with the truth.. in keeping with Bidaai's past.. Anmol should follow Sadhna and walk on the path of truth... and Mamaji should not be telling him to hide the truth.

So my point is.. with Sadhna gone.. i think Mamaji has modified his ideals!! lol
in other words... BLOOPER by the writers!!!

Anyone notice that?

Mamaji's quite forceful and emotional bhashan immediately did remind me of the rift track.I felt the same as you.Double standard lol.But one can say there was Gita involved at that time and this time there isn't.

Thank you for bringing this up ! I was thinking just the same. Those bhashans were only meant for Sadhana, so she could make more sacrifices. Never did Mamaji try to make her understand that its perfectly fine to share your pain/burden with your loved ones, your goodness wont be reduced. There are directorial flaws in the show, that makes everything look so hypocritical. And yes I am not just talking about the rift track.

Well lets just say we should nt take soaps seriously....specially on issues of morality,ideals and religion..

It just seemed awkward coming from Mamaji though.. If any other character had said it (Vasu/Inder), I could have bought it as their characters are fickle like that... but Mamaji!!

Sadhna's not speaking truth would definitely had released Ranveer out of jail, but would have sentenced another innocent person to jail (because Rakesh was lying in coma, so someone had definitely hit him). So, in place of Ranveer, another poor scapegoat would have to bear the punishment for hitting Rakesh. And this thought was shownto be conveyed during the rift track.

What about your own conscience ? Just because there is a religious book involved, one shouldn't lie and its okay otherwise doesn't add up.
Omission of truth is also a lie. IMO, Anmol should tell Ragini the entire truth. she deserves to know as Ranveer was her husband. This will alleviate Anmol's burden/guilt, plus Ragini should be able to understand the circumstances in which Ranveer died. It was his ill fate !

BTW,never saw the rift track properly but it seemed Sadhana mentioned that God is everywhere!So that means she never should have hid anything!

There is an inconsistency in all the characters and Mamaji is no exception. Actually it was more surprising to hear this from him. If this truth is bothering Anmol so much, he needs to let it out. Ragini is the right person as he has to start his new life with her and Ranveer was her husband. They should begin their journey without any secrets, burdens and guilt.

Mamaji was so hyper today lol.No offence but I agree,if they have to start a new life there shouldn't be secrets.May be they are waiting for them to start falling in love and reveal all this to create some more drama
