Bidaai wise Sadhana did end up twice dressing to impress Alekh. In RL,even I say the same dialogue lol.Now that I am married, whom am I going to impress with my looks and clothes?Recently though when my sis got married and even though after marriage and kids I put on some weight,I looked more than okay and the very first Q my SIL asked was'what did your husband say?'Why only husband lolAnd Ihave to say when my husband compliments me I feel good.Is it shallow to react that way?I think its a natural reaction

I think that has more to do with metabolism than anything. As you get older, your metabolism slows down.

I don't know about others, but my own parents always take care of themselves for each other.

As Rahm simply put,Sadhana is not worried for herself but she is worried if her husband would think less of her cos of the burns.I am happy that they cleared the issue pretty quickly!I would say alteration if she was shown as self-conscious woman or as someone mentioned looking in the mirror for her burns.
Purehearts-as for Alekh proceeding to kiss Sadhana,it might be the reinforcement lol even after saying the dialogues.

That's what I've been saying. If she hadn't worried, it would have been worried because she did change physically.

I don't know about other married people, but if and when I get married, I will want to look good for my husband.

I mean what is the point in dressing up for others? I know some people say okay no need to impress others, but when they go out for parties and what not, they dress up. What's the point when the one person that you want to be attracted to you is your spouse? I would want my husband to find me attractive. In fact, my religion (Islam) promotes both husband and wife dressing up for one another because this increases love. You take the time to dress up for your hubby or wife and you spend time together which does increase love.

Karan's entry looks forced. I dont understand the concept here. Anand is shown a good person in uniting the Rajvansh family and Karan is also Ranvir's friend who helps Alekh to realise his love for Sadhana. If Karan wanted to take revenge, he could have planned that time itself. Why bring him back? Both Anand and Karan after winning the trust and friendship from Ranvir, Alekh, Sadhana and Ragini, they cannot backstab them. Especially with Ragini, she called Anand Bhaiyya. Mamaji's family loves Anand so much. Anand cannot plays with people's emotion like that. I dont like this. Hope the CT will solve the unfinished puzzles about the bracelet, mysterious photographer ....etc.
Coming to Sadhana, I think she was feeling awkward to show the burns to Alekh. Firstly she is a shy girl. That made her very vulnerable. I felt she was hiding the burns thinking not about beauty, but was feeling odd about Alekh's reaction. After Alekh said he cares a damn for such burns, she was ok. Sadhana could not have shown her burns just like that, Alekh had to tell her Mujhe haque hain......(Song from Vivah) . The scene was put to show how Alekh understands Sadhana's silence and her insecurities. Their love has reached such a level wherein they understand each other so well. That was the point CT wanted to convey.
All the female characters do a lot of make-up in the serial. Sadhana has done make-up before. Lately her make -up is less. She looks pretty either way. Once again we get to see fancy sarees and jewellery cos they are rich.
Even I feel Vasu's so good-good character pe nazar na lage. She is too good to believe. All of them are behaving as though nothing happened. That's wierd. It would take time for all to adjust. Alekh forgot how his mother had captivated him in the outhouse for years. Sadhana forgot all the troubles created by Vasu. Ragini forgot Vasu called her dark. All of them look relaxed. I agree with forgiving, but like this......Its too quick and too fast to digest.
Anyways happy to see Sadhana-Alekh and Ranvir-Ragini sweet moments..

Perhaps, the sari scene is romantic, thats why it will be a hit. But whatever character sketch has been done for Sadhna from day one, does not fit with this anymore...

Bani Sadhana is changing, like it happens for everybody, different phases in life give you different level of comfort thus different ways of expressing. One thing which is going to Sadhana is that she will never stop being selfless and or worrying for the people she love.Sacrifice is something evry easy for her to do.

Honestly I didn't see anything wrong and weird or character alteration for Sadhna with her feeling insecure about her burn scars.
Sadhna was insecure about what ALEKH will think when he sees them. She doesn't think she's ugly because of it.
Ok personal example, I have a skin problem near my ear, because of which I don't tie up my hair, NOT because I think it makes me look ugly, but because I don't want people to see it and get disturbed. It's an insecurity issue, simple.
We all care about how we look. It's useless to deny that. The difference is some care more than others. Sadhna cares about how she looks also. Like Rahm said, if she doesn't then what's the whole point of dressing up? Putting makeup on, no matter how little? Putting jewelry on? Combing your hair?
She does it only because she wants to look good for Alekh. Hence those 2 times where she dressed up all prettily just for Alekh. If she didn't care, why did she get disappointed when he didn't notice or didn't compliment her?
I agree with Karan's reentry part. It looks really weird. I think CT forgot about Sumanji or she'll reappear from the middle of nowhere again like Karan.

Well of course one dresses for oneself. That's a given. I didn't see the need to point that out.

Everyone wants to feel good about themselves. At the same point, you want to look good as well. That's my whole point.

Because I care about how I look I will want to look good for my husband.

You just proved my point. That's exactly what I wanted you to say. YOU dress for yourself so you do care about how you look.

All humans do. Sadhana is a great human being, but that's just it--she's a human being, not anything more and so of course she cares about how she looks for herself and her husband.
