I am thinking if Ragini's song is Piya Tose naina laage re, (a song I LOVE by the way and uff the movie guide was too good too), then I reall pray and hope Sadhana dances to another song from the same movie, Mose Chhal kiye Jaaye. It is a jewel of a song and the lyrics are apt for poor Sadhana's situation.😛

Mose chal kiye jaaye, hai re hai dekho saiyyan baimaan.

there are so many numbers like Hema Malini's Kinara, Vaijayantimala's Jewel thief, Asha Parekh's movie and even our Madhuri.... Our tradition is so culturally rich and if one tried to find the way, one can...

Wow, all those movies and the songs are fantastic.....yes, so true Bani, any of those songs still resonate in my ears....our tradition is rich indeed!!!!

I really thought of Mose Chhal kiye jaaye, because the lyrics are right for Sadhna's situation now.

watch the Tarana in the beginning, its Hema's dance steps and Gopi Krishna's recital..its the best I have ever seen in a movie.

That is exactly what I was watching 😊, so beautifully done by Hema and lovely musical accompaniment.

Those were the days. I have never seen so much artistic thought put into another hindi film song picturized on classical dancing.

Actually, while watching Kinara on your suggestion, I remembered that before Devdas released and I got to know that the great Pt. Birju Maharaj had choreographed a song for Madhuri, I was really holding the standards or my expectations were something like Kinara's Tarana that I saw today. But, I felt that the kahe cheede song came out lacking the steps, under-utlizing Madhuri's dancing prowess and ofcourse the maestro's talent -- it was a little filmi. Na?

if you realy want to see good dancing, I'ld suggest, instead of Madhuri, watch Meenakshi Seshadri's dances from that generation...watch the dance of Meenakshi in Damini, just look at the steps she has done, you will be mesmerised....

Jewel Theif wala song would be appropriate .... Hoton pe aisi baat mein dabake chali ......
