This is my theory...

Salwaar Kameez/Chridaar => Jeans

Saree => Formal evening gown

I have a friend who says that either show everything or dont show anything...this partial exposure is like an itching sensation to guys who watch...
your "sure step on it and pull out is definitely" is one factor..but girls who dress like that dont worry even if they pull their sari out in public...

Very true............I have a hard time in saris all in all....so low or high...............it don't work for me....lol 😆..........first impression is the last impression sometimes.......and when u show up like that in public...guys do get the wrong pic ....Its all about bare skin now a days............its like if you have the body flaunt it......which I highly disagree with...I am very tiny also...and find it very disrespectful and disgusting sometimes how girls are practically half naked...its like what is the point of leaving what u have on..u left nothing to the imagination.....lol.........Sadhna also seems like she lost weight and looks even skinner then before.............and maybe thats their purspose of showing that tiny waist........small waist line is like a trophy now a days.........don't understand it...........Bidaai actually managed to make the most beautiful reserved indian garment......some what sluty and trashy........

I think its alright to wear jeans/pants as its a matter of convenience. Sarees are not so easy to handle specially at work. But yeah people do wear them on festivals, parties, special occasions like marriages, family functions and all.

When I go to India, I prefer to wear traditional clothes as I wear jeans here mostly. But I find it very amusing that everyone else is wearing western attire. lol. These days even traditional clothes are very hip and stylish.

I do the same........I wear wear traditional clothing instead of jeans when I go back to India too.......I feel weird wearing jeans.... uncomfortable like a outcast.......but its funny how majority of the indian girls there are wearing jeans.........😆 but I still wear traditional clothing because like you I wear jeans here mostly so my only chance to wear Indian cloths everyday.......its kind of cool.........feels more lady like then wearing jeans........
