i dont think this is what should be said about Ranveer. Its true that he could not control his anger,but anyone in that stage can do that. If a brother sees his sister like Bhabi being assaulted, his action should be like that only... either he will be killed or he will kill.

Ranveer has a clean record, he tried to save his bhabhi and also he did take the guy to the hospital. So yeah taking all these things into consideration, he should have got less time in jail than one year...may be 3-6months + community service and yes...anger management classes.<br>

On a serious note, ranveer hitting the goon is self defense is justified.
But the goon was unconscious .. no longer was self defense necessary.. that's when Ranvir was wrong
so yes, he deserves the punishment by law. Even though he was angry bc the goon hit on his sister like bhabi, once the goon was unconscious, take him to jail or something, call the police.. don't hit him some more.

hopefully the goon survives and Ranvir gets less time.

now, before you all of u decide to come after me, let me just say, believe it or not, ranvir is now my fav character on the show!!! in fact, i think he is THE BEST character ever written in the history of indian television!!! know why, cause he's actually a REAL character. he's not the righteous, always self-sacrficing, gold-hearted "good" guy nor is he the all-evil, take revenge on any term, property hungry bad guy. he is a REAL person, who has both amazing qualities in him, and flaws, like ALL OF US in the real world. honestly, i LOVE this guy. he's such a nice person, he just needs to control his anger better. and believe me, i'm saddened that he will be jailed, but what's right is right. and tbh, even all of you who don't want him to be imprisoned, i think, y'all even think its the right thing too, but are just too blinded by your love for ranveer to admit it. anyways, well, all in all, remember one thing guys, THIS IS NOT THE END OF THE WORLD. ranveer will eventually come out of jail, and he will be reunited with his family. so all hope is not lost 😉
