Chapter 43
Sanjana curiously looks at the envelope. She picks it up and wonders what it is. She is about to open it. Saadhna sees this and thinks "oh god, mummy ji ne kaha tha ki sanjana ko shaam tak in photos ke baare mein nahi pata chalna chahiye. Ab kya karoon?" sanjana says "chodo yaar." She puts the envelope back on the table, saadhna sighs in relief. Sanjana sees saadhna and says "bhabi. Kya hua?" saadhna says "kuch nahi ,tumhara khaana." Sanjana smiles and thanks her. Saadhna takes the envelope, sanjana says "bhabi yeh hai kya?" saadhna makes up an excuse that it's a letter for aalekh.
Ragini is in her room trying to study, but she is unable too as she is missing karan. "I miss you Karan." Says Ragini in a low voice. "Really?" says a similar voice from the back near ragini's balcony. Ragini quickly turns without a second thought and sees Karan standing there smiling. She is surprised to see him, and says "Karan? Tum?" There stands Karan smilingly waving it her. Ragini is over joyed and rushes to give him a hug "tum yahaan? London nahi gaye?" Karan says "nahi. Actually tumhe chodke jaane ka mann nahi kiya." Ragini says "Karan...sach sach batao." Karan smiles and says "batata hoon." *Flashback* (Karan calling the manager, and finding out that there is no problem etc. and he thinks about getting off the flight, so without a delay he gets off the plane, just when the plane was getting prepared for a takeoff.) Ragini says "par tumhare saath aisa mazaak koun karega?" Karan thinks and says "pata nahi, khair chodo." Ragini smiles and hugs him. Karan says "arrey wah chalo iss mazaak ka ek toh faayda hua." Ragini playfully hits him and says "ji nahi yeh hug isiliye thi, kyunki ab 2 hafte tak hum nahi milenge." Karan says "KYA? Kyun?" Ragini says "exams ka waqt hai janaab. Aur aap agar mujhse milenge toh main padhaayi nahi kar paungi." Karan says "lo karlo baat, isse acha hota ki maine London hi chala jaata." Ragini smiles and says "waise abhi bhi der nahi huyi, ek aur flight pakkadi jaa sakti hai." Karan makes a cute angry face at ragini, who is playing around with him. Karan says "theek hai main jaa raha hoon. Bye!" Karan leaves in a cute angry way, ragini smiles. Karan is going down the pipe, ragini is in the balcony watching him go. She says "I Love you!" Karan looks at her, ragini blows a kiss at him. A smile appears on karan's face, he catches the kiss and kisses his hand. Ragini smiles and waves good bye.
Sanjana is in Ranvir's room reading a novel while he studies. Vasu and saadhna enter the room, and sit next to sanjana. "Arrey aunty aap." Says sanjana. Vasu says "beta humein tumse ek bohut important baat karni hai." says vasu. Hearing this ranvir pays a bit more attention to vasu's words rather than the books 😆 Sanjana says "ji boliye aunty." Vasu says 'beta kal tumhari mom ka Australia se phone aaya tha." Sanjana says "mom ka phone." Vasu says "haan, aur unhone humein ek kaam saumpa hai." Sanjana is listening carefully. "dekho beta ab tum badi hogayi. Tumhe nahi lagta ki tumhe shaadi ke baare mein sochna chahiye." Hearing the word shaadi sanjana's eyes widen as she says "Kya? Shaadi?" Ranvir is enjoying the conversation. "aunty, ek second mom ne aapko mere liye ladka dhundne ke liye toh nahi keh diya na?" Vasu looks on, and sanjana gets the hint and says "Oh God! Mom...yeh mom bhi na, maine unse kitni baar kaha hai ki mujhe shaadi nahi karni, phir bhi." Vasu says "beta, iss umar mein shaadi nahi karogi toh kab karogi?" Sanjana says "yeh...yeh ranvir hai na, jab iski shaadi ho jaayegi na, tab uske 4-5 saal baad main karlungi." Ranvir gives a huh? Look 😆 Saadhna smiles and says "arrey aise thodi na hota hai." Vasu says "Sanjana, beta tum humein apni ma ki tarah maanti ho na." She nods. "toh phir humari ek baat maanlo." Sanjana says "kya?" Vasu says 'yeh kuch ladko ki photos hai, inhe dekhlo aur humein apni pasand bata do. Haan agar koi aur hai toh tum humein bata sakti ho." Sanjana says "aisi koi baat nahi hai aunty, main abhi padhna chahti hoon, dr ban na chahti hoon, aur agar shaadi karli toh..." Vasu says "arrey hum tumhe koun sa abhi shaadi karne ko keh rahe hai, hum toh bas chahte hai ki tum ladko se mil lo, hum tum par koi zor zabardasti nahi kar rahe hain." Sanjana gives in and opens the envelope, ranvir runs to her and grabs the photos and looks at the guys. Ranvir says "arrey wah mom, kya ladke dhunde hai...sab paagal khaane se hain kya?" vasu says "paagal khaana? Ranvir yeh kya bol rahe ho tum." Ranvir says "nahi woh isse toh koi paagal hi shaadi karega na." Sanjana says "Ranvir main mazaak ke mood mein nahi hoon." Ranvir says "waise jahaan tak main jaanta hoon, inmein se koi bhi ladka sanju ko pasand nahi aayega." Vasu says "woh kyun?" ranvir says "kyun ki yeh ladke uski choice hai hi nahi.' Vasu says "tu do minute chup baithega? Photos sanjana ko do." Ranvir gives the photos to sanjana, she begins to look through the photo and says "aunty aap hi pasand karlo, lekin main sirf unse milungi. Aur kuch nahi." Vasu smiles and says 'theek hai." Sanjana leaves.
It's really late at night, Ranvir is studying. He hears a knock on the door, he looks up and finds saadhna standing there with a glass of milk. Ranvir says "arrey bhabi aap, aaiye." Saadhna enters the room. "Kya hua? Aap abhi tak jag rahe ho. Soye nahi?" saadhna says "tumhare bhaiya ka intezaar kar rahi hoon, woh abhi tak nahi aaye." Ranvir says "kya? Bhaiya abhi tak nahi aaye? Aapne unhe phone kiya?" Saadhna says 'kiya toh tha, par janaab ka phone switched off aa raha hai, lagta hai office mein kuch zyada hi kaam hoga. Papa bhi nahi aaye abhi tak." Ranvir says "rukiye maine phone karke dekhta hoon." Ranvir calls aalekh, aalekh is sriving he turns the Bluetooth on and says "haan ranvir bolo." Ranvir says "bhaiya aap kahaan ho? Itni raat ho gayi hai." Aalekh says "arrey tu abhi tak soya nahi?" ranvir says "bhai aap mere baat jawaab do pehle." Aalekh says "arrey woh ek meeting mein phas gaya tha. Abhi ghar hi aa raha hoon." Ranvir says "acha jaldi kijiye bhaiya, bhabi aapka kabse wait kar rahi hai." aalekh smiles and says "haan main pohunch raha hoon." Ranvir hangs the phone and informs saadhna that aalekh is on his way home, hearing this saadhna smiles. "arrey wah bhabi bhaiya ke aane ki khushi mein aapka chehra kaise glow kar raha hai. haaye itni der tak mere liye wait karne waali na jaane kab aayegi." Saadhna laughs and says "acha, toh humare pyaare se dewar ko shaadi karni ki jaldi ho rahi hai. Bolo Karwaade? Acha batao kaisi ladki chahiye, main dhundti hoon." Ranvir smiles shyly. "agar koi ladki hai toh..." Ranvir says "nahi bhabi aisi baat nahi hai." Saadhna says "toh batao kaisi ladki chahiye." Ranvir says "bhabi woh bilkul aap hi ki tarah honi chahiye, yun samajh lijiye aap hi ki parchaayi." Saadhna says "hmmmm...meri parchaayi...mushkil hai par koshish karungi." Ranvir and saadhna both have laugh. "ab so jao, subah exam hai." Saadhna takes his books and keeps them on the table, while ranvir quickly drinks the mils and prepares to sleep. Saadhna switches the light off and wishes him good night.
Saadhna is sitting on the couch in the hall waiting for aalekh, Soon she doses off to sleep, aalekh finally arrives home, and sees saadhna sleeping on the couch. He walks up to her and just watches her sleep. He looks at the dining table and sees the food set on the table, and realises that saadhna too hasn't eaten yet. He begins to heat up some food, Saadhna wakes up when she hears some noises in the kitchen, she gets up to see, and finds aalekh heating up food. Saadhna walks over to him as she says "arrey aap aagaye. Aapne mujhe jagaya kyun nahi? Laaiye yeh mujhe dijiye, aap wahaan table par baithiye, main khaana serve karti hoon." She's a little angry with him. Aalekh smiles and says "naraaz ho?" Saadhna is setting up the table for him, aalekh follows her. Saadhna says "nahi toh, main kyun naraaz houngi." Saadhna sets the food for him on the plate. Aalekh says "acha par tumhara chehra toh kuch aur hi keh raha hai." saadhna looks at him and says "khaana kha lijiye, thanda ho raha hai." saadhna is about to walk off, aalekh gets a hold of her hand and says "sorry." Saadhna doesn't reply. Aalekh gets her to sit on the chair, and he kneels down in front of her, saadhna is looking around. Aalekh says "main jaanta hoon ki tum gussa ho. Aur sahi bhi hai, main itna late jo aaya. Par jaan main kya karta itna kaam pada tha." Saadhna says "aap jab marzi ghar aaye, mujhe isse kya. Aap toh kaam mein itna busy ho gaye ki bhul gaye ki ghar pe koi intezaar bhi kar raha hoga. Khair mujhe isse kya, aap khaana kha lijiye." Aalekh says "I promise sweetheart aage se aisa kabhi nahi hoga. Iss baar maaf kardo." Saadhna looks at him and says "theek hai, lekin aainda se late aaye na toh ghar mein ghusne nahi dungi, raat bhar gadi mein sona." Aalekh says "arrey baap re, ab toh jaldi aana hi padega." Saadhna says 'khaana." Aalekh sits on the chair and says "aaj main apne haathon se apnni biwi ko khaana khilaunga." Aalekh takes a spoonful of rice and tries to feed saadhna. saadhna says "maine kha liya hai." Aalekh says "jooth mat bolo, main jaanta hoon ki tumne khaana nahi khaaya hoga. Lo khao." Saadhna eats it. Aalekh says "arrey mujhe bhi toh khilao." Saadhna smiles and feeds him aswell.
"aaye haaye kya pyaar hai." says a similar voice. Both saalekh turn and find ranvir standing there resting his arms on the chair enjoying the site. Aalekh says "tu? Tu yahaan kya kar raha hai? soya nahi abhi tak?" Ranvir says "well woh kya hai na, ki aapke romance ka taapmaan itna badh gaya hai ki mujhe garmi lagne lagi...paani peene aaya hoon." Aalekh slightly shakes his head and has a slight smile. "bhabi paani do na." aalekh says "do chaar joote na doon tujhe?" Ranvir says "nahi woh aap apne liye bachake rakhiye, aapko uski zyada zaroorat hai." saadhna laughs, aalekh says "badmaash. Abhi dekhta hoon tujhe." Aalekh is about to get up, but saadhna says "arrey tum dono phir shuru hogaye? Arrey ghar pe sab so rahe hai." aalekh remains seated on the chair. Ranvir quickly drinks water and wishes then good night. Saadhna clears up the table once the dinner is done, aalekh is following her around. Saadhna says "ab kya hai?" aalekh says "arrey ab apni biwi ke peeche peeche bhi nahi aa sakta main?" sadhna says "arrey aalekh tabg mat kijiye, aur jaaiye upar jaake change kar lijiye, aur jaake so jaaiye." Aalekh says "kyun? Tum bhi chalo." Saadhna says "main baad mein aati hoon yeh sab saaf toh kardoon." Aalekh says "yeh subah ho jaayega, tum chalo." Saadhna says "arrey par'." Aalekh without saying anything carries saadhna and is taking her upstairs. Saadhna keeps telling him to put her down, but aalekh doesn't listen to her. They enter their room, aalekh puts her down on the bed and says "ab chup chap so jao." Saadhna says "arrey par...kitchen..." aalekh puts blanket over her and says "woh subah kaka karlenge tum araam karo." Aalekh kisses her on her forehead and turns the lights off.
Everyone is in the exam room giving their exams. ' LEAP- they have just finished off their last exam and are walking out of the room. "Ranvir tera exam kaisa gaya?" says Ragini. "questions toh easy the par answers bohut tough. 😆" says sarcastic ranvir. Ragini smiles as she slowly shakes her head. Saniha says "ab exams toh khatam hogaye chuttiyo ka kya?" Ragini says "arrey chuttiyo ka kya, masti karenge. Movies dekhenge, ghumne jaayenge, shopping!" Saniha says "woh toh theek hai par ek mahina movies...main toh pakk jaungi yaar. Kuch exciting karte hain." Raj says "arrey chalo sab disco chalte hain." Saniha says "haan disco tere baap ka hai na jo dopahar ko khula hoga..." Raj makes a funny face. Ranvir says "guys I have an idea...dekho hum sab ko kitni din hogaye ghume huye...toh kyun na hum kuch din ke liye baahar jaaye...aise mein hum ghoom bhi lenge, aur apne family ke saath thoda bohut time bhi spend karelnge. Aur waise bhi ragini, bhabi bhaiya se bohut pareshaan hain...kyunki who unhe time nahi dete. Toh what say guys?" Raj says "woh toh theek hai par jaayenge kahan?" Ranvir smiles and says "Simla." Everyone "Simla?" Ranvir says "haan, wahaan humara farm house hai. toh hum sab wahaan chalenge." Ragini says "woh toh theek hai, par kya humare ghar waalon ke paas time hoga?" ranvir says "woh hum dono milke karlenge, tum mummy papa se baat karna, aur main mom dad se. theek hai na." Ragini agrees, Ranvir says to saniha and raj to be ready for the picnic. Ragini hints saniha to bring karan along aswell, saniha nods with a smile. Ranvir's phone rings. 'Hello?" says ranvir. "Kahaan hai tu? Abh ike abhi ghar aaja...help me out yaar!" Says tensed sanjana. Ranvir says "kya hua?" sanjana says "meri band baj gayi...woh ladke waale aaye hain...mujhe dekhne." Ranvir laughs and says "toh kya hua? Band toh unki bajegi." Sanjana says "mazaak nahi ranvir. Tu ghar aaja, aur mujhe iss jhanjhat se nikaal warna tu jaanta hai main kya kar sakti hoon..." Ranvir says "acha theek hai theek hai, main abhi aata hoon." Ranvir hangs the phone and is in thoughts, he has an idea and rushes home.
Sanjana is walking back and forth in her room completely tensed, biting her nails and thinking about how to get rid of the guys. Ranvir rushes home and finds the guests sitting on the couch, ranvir fakes a smile and rushes upstairs. Sanjana sees ranvir has arrived. Ranvir says "tu abhi tak tayaar nahi huyi?" sanjana says "kya? Ranvir maine tujhe bachaane ke liye phone kiya tha, phasaane ke liye nahi." Ranvir says "I know, sun tujhe ek idea deta hoon." Ranvir whispers an idea in her ear and sanjana smiles, and gives him a hug in excitement. Vasu enters and says "sanjana beta tu abhi tak tayaar nahi huyi? Jaldi kar." Sanjana says "ji aunty main 5 minute mein aati hoon." SanVir wink at each other.
The scene shifts to sanjana sitting in the hall with a veil covering her face. Everyone is like the girl doesn't seem like she is from abroad. Ranvir is trying to stop from giggling and he exaggerates.." arrey uncle, kya bataaye humari sanju toh itni sharmili hai, ki kya bataun kitni sharmili hai...aur khana banane mein toh expert hai, yeh sab usi ne toh banaya hai." vasu is looking curiously at ranvir and sanjana, she senses something wrong. Ranvir walks over to the guy. "aur pata hai...uhh sorry tumhara naam kya hai?" the guy says "Shyam. Shyam Das" Ranvir says "shyam. Well shyam tujhe pata hai, sanjana bohut acha gaana gaati hai." he looks at sanjana and says "sanju ek pyaara sa gaana toh sunade." Vasu has a tensed face and senses something terrible.
Sanju starts to sing this song, exactly the way it's picturised. But she is wearing a red saree, and under she is wearing Jeans that roughly come to her knees and a black tank top that says "Sanjana" written on in White. and she doesn't do bad stuff to the fam members, so ignore that part 😆 and they don't give angry looks but *oh god* looks 😆 while ranvir and aalekh join in the fun with sanjana 🤣 and ignore the tying the fam part aswell 😆

The guests run off, Vasu is trying to stop them, but the guys aren't listening. SanVir are laughing seeing the people run away, aalekh too is laughing, while saadhna has a oh god look. Vasu enters and says "sanjana, Ranvir yeh kya kiya tum dono ne?" SanVir are quiet. Sanjana says "aunty maine kya kiya woh toh'" Vasu says "sanjana main jaanti hoon ki kisne kiya, yeh tum dono ki mili bhagat hai. arrey itna insult feel hua hoga unhe." Ranvir says "mom aap jaanti hai, ki sanjana shaadi nahi karna chahti, usne aapse bola tha'" Vasu says "isne yeh bhi bola tha ki yeh ladko se milegi. Sanju kaha tha na...tumne humein promise kiya tha ki tum ladko se milogi. Itna acha ladka tha woh, pata hai ladka yahaan ka sabse bada industrialist hai." Ranvir says 'mom aapne uski shakal dekhi thi, aisa lag raha tha jaise papite ke ped pe kharbuja latka hua hai...aur naam Shyam Das ...yeh kaisa naam hai. Socho Sanjana Das." Sanjana giggles. Vasu says "naam pe mat jao, yheh dekho ki ladka kitna guni hai...itni choti si umar main apne papa ka business sambhal raha hai." Ranvir says "mom, ladka chahe kitna bhi bada kyun na, par aap sochiye kya woh sanjana ko khush rakh paayega? I mean uski shakal dekh kar lagta hai ki jaise woh sirf kaam se pyaar karta hai...itna serious hai woh aur humari sanju adjust nahi kar paayegi...main jaanta hoon." Sanjana looks on at Ranvir. 'Toh mom humne jo bhi kiya sahi kiya.' Vasu sighs and says "shayad tum theek keh rahe ho Ranvir par..i promise kal jo ladke dekhne aayenge woh aise bilkul nahi honge." SanVir both says "KAL?" Vasu says "haan, kal kuch ladke waale aayenge sanju ko dekhne, aur haan sanju kal aisi harkat mat karna, agar pasand na aaye toh mana kardena..." Vasu smiles and is about to leave but she turns around and says "Oh haan, parso tumhare mom dad bhi aa rahe hain." Sanjana is excited and says "KYA? Mom dad aa rahe hai? aur woh bhi parso." Ranvir says "wow mom, that's great news. Phir toh picnic pe aur bhi maza aayega." Everyone says "picnic?" Ranvir says "haan, exams khatam hogaye hain, aur maine aur ragini ne socha ki sab family holiday ke liye hum simla apne farm house pe chalte hain. Aur main toh aap sabko yeh hi toh batane aaya tha ki...yeh sab...toh parso jab uncle aunty aayenge tab hum sab simla chalenge." Vasu says "theek hai...isiliye bahaane sab saath mein kuch waqt bitalenge." Saadhna says "haan, aur waise bhi aalekh kahan waqt deta hai mujhe...kaam se kuch din door rahega toh aacha rahega." Aalekh says "acha ji..." Saadhna nods, both smile.
Ranvir calls ragini and informs her about sanjana's parents arrival the day after tomorrow so they will go to the picnic the next day. Ragini agrees and let's everyone know everyone gets happy, but vinu says "papa, maine aur malti nahi jaa payenge." Pc says "kyun?" Vinu says "mujhe kal hi ek zaroori kaam se America jaana pad raha hai, ek deal finalise karni hai, malti ko bhi kahin lekar nahi jaata toh socha iss baar isse saath mein le chaloon." Kaushi says "par beta...yeh hi toh waqt hai jahaan hum sab saath mein bita sakte hain." Vinu says "ma main jaanta hoon par agar main wahaan nahi gaya toh humari company ka hi nuksaan hoga." Pc says "nahi nahi beta tum jao...aur malti ko bhi saath le jaana. Hum sab ek saath phir chale jaayenge." Ragini says "bhaiya aapke bina picnic ka kya mazaa.' Vinu says "I know ragini, par I promise ki hum sab pakka ghumne chalenge..." Ragini smiles.
The nest day has arrived...sanvir are on their mischievous acts, one by one all the guys run away, with vasu sitting their holding her head and completely has given up on sanvir's acts.
Sanjana's parents arrive, the next day. Vasu happily greets them, sanjana runs to them and hugs her mom and dad tightly. Avantika is angry with sanjana due to her acts and embarrassing Vasu. Vasu says "nahi nahi aisi koi baat nahi hai." Avantika says "vasu main meri beti ko jaanti hoon, aur main yeh bhi jaanti hoon ki tu kuch nahi bolegi...yeh shaitaan wahaan pe bhi aisa karti hai'kabhi kuch serious nahi leti...itni baar kaha isse ki life ko seriously le, par nahi...har baar mazaak, har baar masti." Sanjana looks at her dad. He replies "mujhe mat dekho, tumhari ma ke saamne main aaj tak bol paaya." Sanjana looks down. Ranvir comes and greets them all happy, avantika grabs his ear when he walks up to her. "Nalaayak tu bhi iske saath mein lag gaya. Tum dono kabhi life ko seriously logey yah nahi?" Ranvir says "oww...aunty lagti hai." Avantika says "aunty ke bache...tu bilkul bhi nahi badla." Vasu smiles and says "Avantika tum toh jaanti ho, yeh dono jab saath hote hain toh aisa hi hota hai." sanjana says "arrey ma, gusse ko maaro goli...aur itne dino ke baad mil rahi ho, pyaar se toh baat karlo." Avantika smiles and tells sanju to give her a hug. Sanjana smiles and gives her a hug.
Saadhna comes there and takes avantika's and Aman's (Sanju's dad) blessings. Vasu says "yeh humari bahu, saadhna'aalekh ke patni." Avantika happily greets saadhna and gives her blessings.
The scene shifts to ranvir packing for picnic tomorrow. He is so excited that he will be spending time with ragini and he will win her heart etc. Sanjana comes there and sees ranvir singing and dancing while packing his bag. "Bada khush ho raha hai..." ranvir says "kyun nahi hounga...kal se main aur ragini pura ek hafta simla mein'" sanjana interrupts" aur family bhi." Ranvir says "haan, par uski tension nahi hai na...kam se kam woh karan toh nahi hoga na wahaan pe. Meri Ragini ke peeche pada hua hai." Sanjana says "teri Ragini?" ranvir says "haan'" sajnana says "par ismein itna dance karne waali kya baat hai, tu toh usse baat nahi karega..." Ranvir is shocked and says "KYA? Main kyun baat nahi karunga?" sanjana says 'kyunki agar tujhe ragini ke dil mein apne liye pyaar jagaane hai toh tujhe usse ignore karna hi padega." Ranvir says "par kyun?" sanjana explains to him, that if he ignores her then she will be curious to know then she will come running to you, not you going to her all the time..Ranvir gets it and is excited! Sanjana winks at ranvir.
