Ragini's fault is that she is Kaushalya's daughter. Kaushalya,the ever selfish mom who tries to keep her daughter happy , even by hurting another one in the same house.The more Kushi will try to keep Ragini happy by bestowing ill feelings on Sadhna, the more Ragini will suffer.
