@topic poster: LOL yeah, I've seen a lot of ppl being bitter over Bidaai being so successful.

BV is a class show as well, so those comparisons I can still understand....but to compare DMG with Bidaai is frankly a joke....just my opinion.

Baaki in general, the simplicity and subtlety of treatment of storylines in Bidaai is not the kind that some ppl may enjoy.....so to each his own :-)

@DMGBidaaifan: That is just my opinion, I don't intend to offend anyone. DMG is a show with no storyline...all that happens in it is random comedy sequences.....I don't see how it can be compared to Bidaai which has a great storyline.

But if you like both shows, then that is good for you. I was just expressing my own opinion.

I don't think DMG and Bidaai can be compared. The shows are very different and one's success shouldn't be threatening to the other. I'm happy that we now have shows like Bidaai, DMG, and BV that are so different from the Ekta ones that used to saturate our airwaves. Variety is good for Indian television as there is something for everyone, and one show shouldn't be teared down to make the other one better.

Now back on topic, congrats again to Sara and Parul for their awards. They deserve them for their hard work.

I am sorry guys what does the acronym DMG and BV stand for.

Yep, no doubt it is a great thing to get some relief from Kekta shows all over the place.

But to move away from the Kekta formula and reach the other extreme of nonsense is also not the solution (as some shows are want to even today....not going to take names as it seems to offend ppl).....

The mark of a truly good show lies in the strength of it's storytelling. Bidaai has that as does BV.....

Some shows may be 'different' from the Kekta shows, but if they make even LESS sense than a Kekta show, how is that the mark of a well-made show?😕

It stands for Dil Mil Gaye and Balika Vadhu, two other shows that are popular currently. Although I don't know why DMG is being considered a threat, its nowhere near the other two in ratings. Although I don't know why shows are considered threats in the first place when they are played at different times and often have different demographics. 😊
