Ranvir HAS literally folded his hands in front of his mother many times.....but EVERYONE in the family knows that begging Vasu for ANYTHING is pointless (except for Sadi who continues to grovel...lol).....so he tried all other possible methods to make Vasu agree...

But yeah, he did make many tall promises which he should remember before giving up.....but then, guess he couldn't foresee the future that Vasu would be THIS rigid....Love buoyes a person sometimes into not thinking so practically....one WANTS to believe it will defeat all odds.

since we were soo into discussing whether ranvir wud prove to be a good husband or not....since he might not be able to stand up to vasu.....i just found proof/hope that he might be a good support to ragi.....i was just watching the earlier episodes of aalekh's entry....n ranvir over there confronts his mom quite strongly as to why they had kept aalekh locked up n tied up....so he does speak up against his mom against injustices......😊....n the way he had handled the viloent aalekh....just like an elder brother....with so much patience.....gives me hope for a bright future 4 ragini...so here's hoping all will be fine.....

His begging Mamaji/Mamiji was at a very different point in the story....what will his going on his knees in front of Vasu achieve?? It is an ego clash with her.....with Mamaji/Mamiji, it was something different....it WAS his mistake that he was making amends for....

His going down on his knees infront of Vasu wouldn't have achieved anything....I think you're giving Vasu too much credit here....LOL.

He knows going down on his knees in front of mom is going to get him nowhere. Vasu has proved to be a hypocrite again and again as proved today.

I am not upset that he said he won't marry ragini coz vasu doesn't want it. Both Rag/Ran have proved that parents will always be put first, i was just upset at how he said it. that's all. it was the 'how' not the 'what'.
