@Tanu: Well the Sonia thing I thought was plausibly shown cuz sometimes a person just gets thru to someone when no one else can....and Ragi/Anamika was that person for Ranvir when he was going thru his post-Sonia depression.

Otherwise generally, yes...he is a bit of a fluctuating character...but I wouldn't say that he got this far only because of Ragini's support.....Ragi was acting defeatist much earlier than him and he was the one who was still standing strong and trying his best to work things out then....he did that all on his own....Ragi wasn't exactly supporting him back then.

Maybe it just got too much for him since he's been trying for SO long now to work this thing out.....LOL.....a moment of despair, hmm?

Shugs/Sonal: Guys, we're not saying that everything is REALLY finished....all we're discussing is Ranvir's or rather the dialogue writers's choice of words to convey Ranvir's feelings. It is understandable since he is a sensitive kind of guy who really cares for his Mom as well that he feels helpless in the face of her heartlessness right now....but he could have said it differently....that's all.

its not we this the kissa is actually khatam....its just that we r thinking bout ranvir's character....and how much he wud support ragini as a husband...given that...vasu's behaviour might not change much post marriage either...

@Anu....

when i said ragini's support ....i did not mean she was literally supporting him...but that ranvir had the hope of better days to come....a happier future with ragini n all....but his hopes seem to die very soon....

n about he sonia episode...i guess the time span was not made clear.....so i guess with time his feelings had changed n all.....

@Hiba: No worries yaar....sab theek ho hi jaayega....hopefully he will support her implicitly after the marriage.

On another note, it is interesting that we are forgetting that Ragi kinda did the same today....some ppl mentioned it earlier in this thread as well....now if society wasn't such that the girl is the one who has to go to another house and adjust to the guy's family....if the situation had reversed and Ragi had to choose constantly b/w her parents and Ranvir....it would have been pretty difficult for her as well......maybe they're just trying to show Ranvir's very difficult dilemna here.....after all he does love his Mom a lot....no matter how messed up she is....LOL.

@Anu- Sorry, just went through the whole pages now... I agree... Ranvir's dialgoue was simple but was complex when it came to feeling of a son who loves his mom so much that he cant see his mom in pain so what if she is wrong...However it seems the whole family knows about Vasu's ego..but coz they respect her nothing has been said..However, Ranvir was in pain when he said...I wanted him to say "I wont marry as well" ever guess am too much into K land (which i ahve given up)

Ok guys, let's call truce here. I didn't mean to bring Ranveer's charachter into question by this topic. I was just frustrated at the dialogues his character is given sometimes coz they make him seem very weak.
