Yeah, it was pretty stand-up of Shishir to do what he did....he definitely liked Ragini but I don't think he loved her...they barely met a few times....but he would have fell for her if they got married....

again, I'm happy Bidaai didn't go the Kekta way and have Shishir fall for Ragini....I'm really glad that he himself realized that he was getting in between two lovers instead of going ahead with the marriage and trying to keep Ragini happy....

No..actually if he returns then it would be problematic for RagVir.

Obviously, Shishir liked Ragini very much...may be ha had fallen in love with her already....so, even though we would love to see Shishir back....and it's better he doesn't come back.
But, but but.......when Ragini will be in trouble in sasural (which is obvious) I'd like shishir to help her. But...No stupid misunderstanding between RagVir.

Shishir does not strike me as the type of guy who would come in between two lovers for his own selfish desires... If he was that type of guy, he surely wouldn't have hesitated in completing his engagement with Ragini despite knowing that she was not fully committed...
And honestly, I didn't get the feeling he was *that* madly in love with her anyway.... I think he had a lot of respect for her and he certainly seemed to like her as a person, perhaps he was even attracted to her, but it was far too soon for real love...
I don't think he will pose any threat to RagVir's relationship if he returns (unless the writers decide to pull a Kekta and dramatically change his characterization). I'd like to see RaShi's friendship continue... It is possible for a guy and a girl to remain platonic y'know...

Apparently thats not true in Indian television😆 at least not without the bf/gf, husband/wife getting jealous and/or misunderstandings being created! It would be nice to see Shishir again....I'm sure RaShi could be great friends but I think this may just be the end of Shishir....but I would love to see Shishir make an appearance at the Ragvir wedding....that would be cool!

Shishir was indeed THE MAN today!👏👏👏....What an AWESOME character! See THIS is how a cameo should be in a show! And exactly why Bidaai is a class apart from all other shows👏

The entire sequence as Shishir explains the situation to everyone.....from noticing the pain and longing in Ragvir's eyes for each other, to his rationale for how even if Ragi marries him, she'd never truly be happy.....it was EXCELLENTLY written, acted and directed! Hats off to the actor Manish as well as the director👏

What especially struck me during the scene was how even on this forum many times the argument has been made that Ragvir shouldn't be together cuz Ragi might have to suffer Vasu's wrath in the Rajvansh house.....but Shishir made some brilliant points.....One line that really stayed with me was when he says that even if him and Ragi become one, they will always be incomplete....and it was so true!

Another really cute moment was when Ragi was unable to look at him when she says that this is her own decision.....and he tells her so sweetly to look at him and talk.

Shishir basically showed amazing maturity, sensitivity and compassion.....truly a man who's one in a million! I am 100% sure a Shishir doesn't exist in real life😆 *sigh* How sad....I'd so marry him!😆

Btw I agree with chronic and apux: Shishir obviously wasn't very torn up over the rishta breaking up....so it wasn't ever like he was 'in love' with Ragi....he did like her and respected her a lot....but I don't think love was really involved.....I too wish that this friendship continues.....RaShi are very sweet that way. If nothing else, I would LOVE to just have this character/actor in the show paired up maybe with someone else, but keep him in the show! He's so sweet!

Ditto!! I was actually thinking in the back of my mind that there should've been a third sister....maybe one will turn up later in the show....you know....bachpan mein kumbh ke mele mein bichhdi hui types?😆😆.....Ok jokes apart, maybe they could have a second cousin or something....who is just as sweet as Ragi and Sadi....that way we'd still get to have Shishir in the show and he won't end up coming in b/w any couple also!

@ ramusk - yep the Aalekh / Shishir part was also too good, the Aalekh stops Shishir and extends his hand forward for friendship.

@desigrl05 - even i would not have minded but liked Ragini Shishir pair, they really looked very nice with each other.

@jhumapan - thats true the best cameo ever, and he did his role beautifully.

@apux - yes they showed it so nicely how Shishir realized that Ranvir Ragini loved each other very much, and he should not be coming in their way. The way he tried to make the family understand that Raginis happiness is not with him but with Ranvir.

@nureat - awesome analysis, and Shishir was indeed the Man of the episode. Really liked the way they showed that Shishir understood RagVir's love and not something happening like eg. Ragini going to meet Ranvir on the sly and Shishir seeing them together etc.

Yes agree with all of u, Shishir just rocked today, and loved the way things were handled.
