I think one of the reasons for that might be that as characters, Aalekh and Ragi draw the most sympathy....Aalekh cuz of his childlike condition and Ragi cuz of the prejudice and taunts she faces over her color.....and it also helps that both of them are very good actors.

Great acting is a major plus for these two....Alekh and Ragini are the underdogs and the audience loves to root for the underdog....I think Angad and Parul are very mature and reserved in their personalities, and yet they still get the most attention!

I do understand what you mean by wanting Ragi with someone who is stronger and more mature....and I think Ranvir is ultimately going to grow into that person....He is not a perfect guy in anyways, he has his own weak points....and I'm also not a fan of his immature behavior in the recent past....but I think their love story is a journey and ultimately Ranvir will grow as a character....as he already has in some ways in the last few days.....I don't know if by 'looking together' you mean just appearance wise?? Cuz I think appearance wise they do suit each other pretty well.....they make a sweet pair.

Hey you guys are forgetting Sadhna - a lot of people can sympathize with Sadhna for being the step daugther and her kind heart for always doing things for other people.

^ True. Many times I've felt more sympathetic towards Sadhna than Ragini.

To be honest, I sympathize more with Alekh and Ragini than Sadhna....she really is a kind heart, but her character doesn't have an unique factor to her like Alekh (mental illness) and Ragini (color)....from the outside, Sadhna is the one who always gets the attention versus Ragini so Ragini has a more sympathy factor than Sadhna....

though I've sympathized with Sadhna because she is often misunderstood....

I agree....again😆.....I too sympathize with Ragi and Aalekh more often....even though there are many times I feel bad for Sadi when her good intentions are misunderstood.....but as you said, Ragi and Aalekh are the 'underdogs' in a way....so the sympathies invariably get drawn towards them.

All the attention Sadi gets is a curse for her in some ways, for no fault of hers..... so I do sympathize with her over that....but Ragi's pain cuts deeper for some reason.

Well personally, I don't care about looks.....and she had a plastic sort of look to her anyways.....Ragi is much more sweeter and natural....both in looks and personality.....and it is ultimately personality that matters for life.....looks dont' last forever.

Sadi has no parents, and Mamiji treats Sadi like a adopted daughter (really sad) where Ragini gets all the love from her mother. Color is one thing but to have no parents is really sad. Sadi always does things for other people maybe to get approval.

I'm not trying to draw a comparison here.....I don't think this has to be a Sadi vs Ragi thing....they have both had to suffer for things in their own way.....it comes down to individuals....everyone has their own preferences for what touches them more.

But comparing the basic issue....yes it is very sad that Sadi doesn't have parents, but she has still gotten unconditional love from her Mamaji, so she was not totally an orphan....yes, Mamiji discriminated against her cuz of her bitterness and that was unfair towards her.....in the same way, Ragi adores he sister with all her heart....has loved as much or maybe more than a real sister.....and Sadi loves her just as much.....and Ragi despite having the support and love of her family, has to deal with harsh color prejudice....which in some ways is magnified cuz she has a fair sister like Sadi....that isn't Sadi's fault....but the issue is still very much there.

Sadi has a sacrificing spirit and does things for ppl, which I'm not denying is very nice.....but as of now, she does have a loving maayka and a loving husband....so even though she has had the tragedy of losing her parents, in some ways, she has been blessed with a lot of loving ppl in her life as well.

Ragi is still going thru her own struggle to gain self-confidence and rise above ppl's petty prejudices, so for now it is her condition that I sympathize with more.....that's just my opinion.

ragini ranvir's story is as interesting as sadhana and alekh's. now with the vinu in jail incident, it's even better as we get to see how ragini ends up accepting ranvir this time. and then there are the articles that talk about a love triangle with the shishir dude..sooo i'm not tired yet :)
