Hmm...I dunno about the TRPs and all, but the entire phone friend thing seemed a bit off for me atleast... Now that they've professed their love and all, I HOPE for the story to move more "smoothly" rather than the usual jhagda-makeup scenes that they had before..i also kno that those scenes are crucial...but the basis of their relationship seemed less comprehensible than anything, so its hard to build up from that... Now this may be something totally off topic, but Kinshuk, IMO, is not the strongest actor here, so his delivery of dialouges and feelings and the way he's supposed to connect with the audience has a shortcoming... I love Parul's acting, she's superb so she makes up for whatevers lacking, but in their story as a whole it fails to give the audience a sort of connection or feeling to whatever is going on, because most of it seems surreal... Another reason why I am eager to see Salekh's storyline is because w/ Ragvir's storyline...its like 'okay this happened...now what...' and with Salekh..there's nothing u can really predict...and theres the mystery and excitment behind it all... I dunno guys, this is really My opinion and I really am not interested in Ragvir's story as much as I tried to be, it seemed all to cliche and untouched with the reality of the situations that actually happen...
Now don't get me wrong guys, I KNOW AND UNDERSTAND the fact that the storyline revolves around all the characters, but honestly speaking, even Malti-Vinu's problems interest me more than Ragvir's storyline 🤔

Unless we go out and speak to each person who watches Bidaai and why, we don't really know if they are watch for Ragvir, Salkeh or both....from recent interviews it does show that people are interested in the Ragvir because most of the questions are directed towards them....now that doesn't mean they don't care about Salkeh....it just means they are interested about the focal storyline....so people do care about Ragvir....

I really love Ragvir, so of course I biased....but I really like Salekh as well...I hope all 4 will get equal footage!

Maybe I have not seen all the interviews, but most of the interviews the questions are always directed towards Alekh 😃and not even Sadhna 😭 I have seen 2 interview - one being the Wedding fair, and one other.

@apux:Very well said. I completely agree with you.

@desi:About Kinshuk, I have seen his 1st show Dhoom Machao Dhoom then Kaajal & now Bidaai. From day one till yesterday's episode there has been a vast improvement in Kinshuk's acting. He might not be the best but he isn't bad either. He is good in potraying his role.

Maybe more people like Alekh than Sadna 😆 Nah, I think that just shows how much Alekh does matter in Ragvir's storyline....which is all good because I think he is a fabulous actor....One thing is interesting is a lot of questions in the interviews are more for Alekh and Ragini, hmmmmm....I love all 4 characters so I don't want anyone to get sidelined....

@shruti: yeah, I agree, I've seen him since then as well, but it still remains the same that he cannot attach w/ the audience [IMO]..hopefully he'll improve as the show goes along...but as of right now, im not feeling the dude nor the storyline :(

So Ranvir is improving in front on our eyes. SO we need to respect and give credit to the stars that came in with their best acting skills, such as Angad, Sadhna, Parul, and ofcourse Alok ji and others.
Please do tell which interviews you are referring to.

I don't think the Ragvir story fails to connect with the audience....on the contrary, I think the audience probably connects with a lot because of the color issue being a part of it.....which frankly is a big issue in India....and there are a lot of women out there who probably really identify with Ragi's issues and dilemnas.

Regarding the phone conversation part, it depends on personal preferences....I personally thought it was a charming and simple way to present a love story than the way it's usually presented in soaps....i.e. 'hate to love' or endless staring sessions etc. etc.....It is not that unrealistic for two ppl to fall in love without meeting each other....It solely depends on the ppl in question...not all personality types have a standard way of falling in love.....and I think it speaks for something deeper if two ppl fall in love just based on what they read of each other's personalities......

I do understand and agree with the fact that Kinshuk is relatively weaker in the acting department as compared to Parul...but as I said in another post as well, Ragvir as a couple rise above that cuz they have an old world simple and innocent charm to them....a rarity in modern times I guess.....so everyone will have individual opinions and interpretations on their story.

Vis a vis Ragvir.....the numbers speak for themselves as Shruti has posted....the show has record TRPs right now....and I'm not saying that it's only cuz of Ragvir.....I personally think it's the show as a whole....but Ragvir are obviously being enjoyed as well as is obvious with all the other media coverage in SBS interviews etc.

I think one of the reasons for that might be that as characters, Aalekh and Ragi draw the most sympathy....Aalekh cuz of his childlike condition and Ragi cuz of the prejudice and taunts she faces over her color.....and it also helps that both of them are very good actors.

Sorry I think Ranvir had better chemistry with likes of Sonia😭 I think Ragini would look better with someone really strong and mature - my opinion

LOL....Sonia?😆😆😆.....Man, I couldn't stand that woman!😆.....Would you really want Ranvir with Sonia even after knowing that she was just after his money?😕

I do understand what you mean by wanting Ragi with someone who is stronger and more mature....and I think Ranvir is ultimately going to grow into that person....He is not a perfect guy in anyways, he has his own weak points....and I'm also not a fan of his immature behavior in the recent past....but I think their love story is a journey and ultimately Ranvir will grow as a character....as he already has in some ways in the last few days.....I don't know if by 'looking together' you mean just appearance wise?? Cuz I think appearance wise they do suit each other pretty well.....they make a sweet pair.
