Jay Soni's telly show, Sanskaar Dharohar Apnon Ki, is ending next month, but a certain development on the personal front has him beaming from ear to ear. He is getting engaged this month end to Pooja Shah, a footwear designer.
The ceremony will be attended by close relatives and a few friends from the industry. The actor, who has a boy-next-door image, is going in for an arranged match. He says, "I am simple and family-oriented. Pooja is Gujarati like me. She is a very genuine person. I met her a month ago and she seems fine with the idea of marrying an actor despite their erratic schedule. Love or arranged marriage works only when two individuals work on their relationship and share their joys and sorrows."
Jay is glad Pooja appreciates the fact that he is a self-made man. So, when does he plan to tie the knot? "The marriage date is not decided. It could be this year end or next year. In the meantime, I am getting to know her better; it's nice to have someone special in my life." As for what she thinks of him of an actor, he says, "She thinks of me as a decent actor."
