Rudra not comparable to Devdas

After watching todays episode Rudra definitely cannot be compared to Devdas. It will be an insult to Devdas and his pyar. Thou the scene was well shot I did not like the way Rudra looked at Gauri esp. since it is not even a week since he lost PIhu. Sorry RaGa fans no offence just my POV and I am just a fan of love. I think what they showed today was just in Gauris words aakarshan. This made Rudra look more like a road side Romeo and not the true Devdas or Majnu. May be they could have shown him falling for her ideals first than her beauty. Mamla kuch jama nahin. Your thoughts?😕😲

rudra didn't fall for gauri's anything. 😆 , if you noticed...the way he said all those things to her...wasn't said as a typical lover...but just a guy who thought she looked beautiful.

besides, after that moment between them of silence...in a minute rudra started talking as if nothing happened. gauri may have felt something. but rudra was back to his self, the same rudra who considers gauri his friend - nothing more. he is living with pihu's memories for the time being till she returns to him (at least what he thinks) and I guess that is enough for him to continue with life.

I didn't find anything about rudra today that he fell in love with gauri. just a guy appreciating her beauty.

besides, I'm happy rudra is not devdas. he is not supposed to be the typical devdas either. only link there is to devdas is the alcohol.

that moment was wrong!!!🤢 Way too much, way too soon! What are they thinking!!??

When Rudra said Gauri looks gorgeous and no-one can be blamed for looking at her...it was fine, when rudra stares at her ...it was still fine

When rudra walks towards gauri admiring her.....yep it was fine again

BUT...when he comes up to her and is within smelling distance of her hair and they have that really close lover-like moment it was WRONG!!! It gave the wrong impression and made it looked like Rudra and gauri were falling for each other.

His quick move away did nothing to change that scene, it was far too soon and really odd.

Odd and random - I should get used to these words when talking about Sangini - two amazing episodes and then they suddenly play the fastforward button and pause on Raga. 😆

The following date scene saved the day, but I need to erase the memory of that 'close' moment for now because as you have said it makes rudra seem more playboy and less Devdas especially when he said any boy would want to come 'near' Gauri when she looked so pretty! 😲

wellll for one I am happy Rudr is not behaving like a Devdas. It is good to see that he has come to terms with the fact that Pihu is married now, but has decided to live with his illusion of Pihu his whole life waiting for her.

Now I still dont know if he truly loved the real Pihu or was he in love with the idea of a Pihu that he carries around in his imagination even now which is not even close to the real PIhu.

Todays controversial scene - to be frank I was surprised when it started but as the scene played out I found nothing wrong with it. It was Rudr as a man being awakened to and responding to Gauri and her beauty as a woman, there were no feelings involved from his end. I find nothing wrong with a man checking out a beautiful girl.

I guess the cvs have to start building RG's love story somehow and soon too which is why I am assuming they started off with this. because before this scene - RG has never been this close.

however, I didn't find anything wrong with this scene. 😕 , any guy, not just rudra would have been appalled by gauri's beauty today. I mean, haven't you ever seen a guy compliment a girl? rudra did the same but in a more dazed state. - remember, they both have these feelings for each other hidden very, very very deeeeep and going to take time to come out. so I wasn't surprised by rudra as he didn't feel love for her there...maybe just attraction. I think whatever he said today was nice - no he didn't say it as he was in love with her. just complimented her. like rach said, today rudra made gauri feel like an actual girl. otherwise all these days, he considered her as a buddy.

and gauri too, was definitely shy. as she never got a compliment on her physical appearance. at least not from a guy. and which is one of the reasons I think, gauri never believed in love. because no one ever gave her a reason to feel attracted, infatuated or even love someone.

the closeness where rudra came near gauri's neck...I did find it weird as they are just friends, but then again nothing happened there either. like I said, the cvs need to start off the love story from somewhere. and they are starting off with this incident as this will surface some feelings for rudra from gauri. then, they can carry it on from there.

if my friend checked me out like that...i'd be very worried....and i'd drop him pronto.

even I don't find anything wrong with a guy checking out a girl. I mean, everyone does it nowadays! 😆

I guess many don't consider this wrong as it's too soon? or RG are just friends. and that R still loves P. like you said, don't think he ever really loved P....but he is willing to move forward in life whilst keeping P in his mind.

anyways, RG's love story as to start from somewhere. they won't realize it till after their marriage (or I think R won't) but they need to get G's feelings to surface no? which is why I think the cvs did this. I didn't have any problem, as there was no love from either of them. just a guy complimenting a girl, and the girl being coy about it.

Rudr leering at Gauri is okay. why do we make excuses for the CVs?

and actually why didn't Gauri get alarmed at Rudr's behaviour? she could have moved away or amde him snap out of it...but no....she was equally smitten....this is already an affair....so let's fast forward and get on with it....hopefully it'll get beautiful later.
