Zeetv is still stuck with dramas where girls are pressured to marry some guy they don't want to marry. Surely Pihu's relationship with her family, or at least her mother, is not so dreadful that she cannot share with them her feelings about this marriage. And don't her parents see that "she" Pihu is not begging Abbhay to marry her. Her parents are doing all the begging? And Abbhay, as "educated" as he is, why doesn't he take Pihu aside and ask her "what do you want" and "whom do you want to marry?"
It just seems very ridiculous when you see these characters get themselves into these situations as a result of some very poor writing and not telling others how they feel. I would rather have seen a scene where Pihu changes her mind, tells her parents and they tell her that if she dares to go against them they'll do something drastic to themselves or her. At least then you can feel for her predicament...
The fact she ran off with Rudhra should tell them she has feelings for him and they should at least wonder about this - at least the mother should. Also, if Pihu did make her decision to marry Abbay to spite Rudhra, how come we don't have a scene of this kind...
And pray, why doesn't Rudhra have a male friend and where are Pihu's female friends with whom a woman of her age would confide in? Zeetv NEVER seems to have friends for their lead characters.
This storyline has too many potholes, flaws and weaknesses and the production team really needs to get with it. I am a bit tired of the same old premise of all Indian dramas - some girl has a secret and just doesn't tell anyone - that's exactly what Pihu is dong.
