I stand corrected. My point was CS had a steady rise. We will have a cause of worry if there is fall next week which means it is losing viewers and not gaining. Anyway proper trend can be arrived at only after a month. EBSS, the primary problem was not the opening but continuous decline

Bold: I guess they should stop their strategy of evoking nostalgic feelings among the audience. 7yrs is a long time for people to remember. Plus even if people remember,with this they are increasing the old audience's expectation , and they will continuously compare( and rightly so). @bold- True, they started their intial marketing strategy with classic whistle tune & the presence or references around iconic characters show (s) created 😔which is working as the ghost of past, refusing to RIP for either audience or makers.

Staying optimistic, as its early days ( & TRP is fair enough keeping the time slot in mind )with just a week gone by & the story has shifted gears for good. 😊

totally agree. I am have watched old sanjivani and DMG too. I know all characters but still I was not impressed. Episodes felt either too rushed at some scenes or too slow at some. Execution/editing felt quite bad to me and also lead scenes were so abrupt random. I felt disconnect. I did not watch any episode again after watching once but this week I have done. editing execution seems much better this week thou lighting still needs improvement. So yes hoping for better next week trp

@bold: 100% any show needs atleast one month for judgement to be formed.

I agree that it should not drop. Even constant would be fine but drop should not be there.

One thing I would give to colors that there promotions are huge and very good specially in TV where as star lacks in this.

Also it's not just about trp rat race it is also about branding . See , having KHKT and Sanjivani which may not be TRP gainers but are still better brands than the other shit on the channel, like IB and NK were during their era.

Pls dont compare this to CS. That is a completely new show. Sanjivani is a brand .

I do hope trp increases. But CS u all will agree is more typical saas bahu show. Sanjivani is not.

Do many youngsters tune in to TV generally at 7:30?

That's why I am stressing on the time slot.

Anywhere between 9 to 1030 wld have been perfect slot for Sanjivani.

As it is airing on Star Plus, it needs atleast 1.5 trp, below that wouldn't be fine.

I really liked the way colors TV promote their new shows on newspapers both english & Hindi, the whole page in supplementary newspaper & half or one fourth of the page if it's on main newspaper.

KHKT at 9 pm doing 1.7 with the risk of run down by KNC. Here at least you have a greater leeway. See, TRPs are also about slots. You have standard trp ratio for all slots

It's true. The range of acceptable trps varies from time slots. Like a 2.0 trps is super good at 7.30pm, but 2.0 is mostly average at 9.30pm.

Hopefully the show picks up and doesn't decrease. It was far better this week than last week.
