Now really, Kya Hoga Nimmo Ka?

While Nimmo aka Sanjeeda (Kya Hoga Nimmo Ka) is slowly finding a place for herself in the Segal family, and especially in Kunal's heart, there's soon going to be trouble in her paradise. In the show, Kunal's (Ejaz's) ex-flame Natasha has made her re-entry.The upcoming plot will now focus on the complexity of the developing love triangle which is sure to keep the audience rooted to the couch.

"I am working with Ejaz after a long time..." - Jennifer Winget

Natasha's role, which was earlier essayed by Kavita Kaushik, will now be played by Jennifer Winget (Sneha of Kausauti Zindagai Kay). Kavita explains why she has chosen to drop out of the show: "I had taken up the role as it was a cameo then. However, I had conveyed beforehand that I will not be in a position continue to to play it if, in future, the production house extended it. And since it has been, I prefer not to be there."

Jennifer, on her part, is excited about the opportunity that has come her way. "I play a high society rich girl who harbours feelings for Kunal but is hurt and aghast to know that Kunal has married Nimmo. However, she is ignorant about their contract marriage. Also, Kunal tries to reciprocate my love, " she elaborates.

"I had done the role as it was then a cameo..." - Kavita Kaushik

On her experience of working with the Kya Hoga...team, Jennifer states, "It's been great. It's also been a very nostalgic trip, since I am working with Ejaz after a long time. Sanjeeda is a very sweet girl to work with."

Do we hear a warning bell for Nimmo? Will her contract marriage end soon? Let's wait and watch.

Tellywood gears up for the Holi Blast !

Holi is the festival of colours. Time to invite friends over for some thandai, bhang and of course to let your hair down and shed inhibitions.

We spoke to a few tellystars about their Holi plans this year, childhood memories and of course about all the on-screen holi sequences in their respective tv shows.

Jennifer Winget :

I don't play Holi as such. Last year, I played Holi on the sets of Kassauti Zindagi kay. This year too there's a holi sequence and I might even go for a Holi Party. Most memorable holi was when I used to throw balloons on people as a kid.

Hubbly bubbly up in smoke

OIt's not about a buzz or a nicotine fix, it's about the relaxed space, among friends and out of time. Hookah, the hubbly bubbly water pipe, was synonymous with the luxuriously- paced life of the East at one time. Once the privilege of the rajas and maharajas hookah or sheesha has a lot of young patrons today with many hookah parlours having come up near colleges.

Mumbai's Mayor Shubha Raul is planning to ban hookah parlours in the city because it is injurious to health. The young hookah-smokers feel that it is less harmful than cigarette smoking.

We called up few of our tellystars to find out what they think of the decision to ban hookah parlours in Mumbai.

Jennifer Winget:

If a hookah is perilous then cigarettes should also be banned. Government taking this matter in its hands will not help. When you tell young people to not do something, they rebel. It's better to make them understand how bad it is for them. Change the locations of these parlours. Let people make their own choice. People have the right to make their own decisions about their lives.

Will you be my Valentine?

Ashutosh Kaushik

I don't watch TV shows so I don't know any actress. The one (Sonel) who I want, doesn't want me to be her Valentine. My friend has just informed me that Jennifer Winget of Sangam looks good. Well, if that's the case then I surely am interested in seeing her. It's only after meeting her that I can tell you of the goods that she possesses.

Jennifer unwinds in Goa

Jennifer Winget is one girl who believes in working hard and partying even harder. She is just back from a trip to Goa, where she had gone to rejuvenate after the shoot of Zara Nachke Dikha got over. It must be mentioned that the girls team won Zara Nachke Dikha.

Now the million dollar question is who accompanied her on the trip? She unravels the query saying, "It was an all girls trip. I had gone with my school friends. There were five of us."

Describing her trip she says, "We five friends had worked very hard and needed a break. We ensured that we made the best of this break. I had some massages, chilled out at the beaches, ate lots of fish. I must tell you the food out there is to die for and the people are so polite. They are extremely warm. We even had some adventure by going to places which were not meant to be visited."

But all the masti gave Jennifer a bad cold and cough. She says, "My cold is becoming worse and the problem is that I have to resume shooting for Sangam tomorrow itself."

So, the jolly Jenny is back to work!

Wallowing winters

Imagine: Waking up on winter morning, with your face peeking into the cold while the rest of you snuggled comfortably beneath a pile of blankets and looking out of the window at the breathtaking snow cast exterior!!!

Thanks to a beautiful, cosy winter, some fortunate beings get to live such an experience and some left envisioning about it thanks to the seasonal heterogeneity on our planet.

Let's find out who all from our television fraternity have enjoyed this time of the year and who haven't (if any!).

Jennifer Winget

I love winters but where do we get to enjoy it in Mumbai? I remember spending nearly a month in Delhi during this season when there was ice rain! It was very memorable. Ironically I have never seen snow in my life and I have an intrinsic desire to visit a place full of snow! And this hope surges when I go through the pictures sent by my friends who belong to snowcapped countries. I have been abroad a couple of times but not during winter.

Do our tellystars believe in Gandhigiri?

Govinda's recent slapping incident made headlines. We called up some of the telly stars to know if they were placed in a similar situation how they would react. Would they exercise self- restraint or get physical?

Jennifer Winget

Firstly, I would like to talk to him to understand why he is behaving in that particular manner. I'll try to sort out things but if he is yet not ready to listen then I'll have to take a step further. If anything like this happens with me, I'll definitely go mad. I know we are public faces and this kind of act can harm us. Defending your self is not negative publicity.

I earned my first salary at the age of eleven : Jennifer Winget

Money. That's what drives everyone in the final analysis, whether in the glamour world of acting or the hard grind of scripting and producing. Cashin' In sits down with TV celebs to know well they handle their financial matters, and tracks their spending patterns.

The pretty Jennifer Winget currently seen in Sangam and the dance reality show Zara Nachke Dikha is the good girl in both reel and real life.

Jennifer ensures that she handles her hard earned money prudently and most importantly she doesn't make any purchase without consulting her parents.

How important is money for you?

It is as important as food and love. Money is basically a necessity.

Are you an impulsive buyer?

No. I think before buying anything.

What are the investments you have made?

I have made a lot of investments. I have invested in mutual funds, insurance policies, gold, etc.

What is your most expensive purchase?

Well, I am going to make one of the most expensive purchases of my life very soon. But as of now, my most expensive purchase is a gold and diamond neck piece that I bought for my mom on my parent's wedding anniversary.

Do you feel financially secure?

I do feel financially secure but I am yet to grow financially. God has been very kind to me and by the grace of God everything is falling in the right place. I aim high and if God continues to shower His mercy on me, I will soon reach my goal.

Who handles your expenses?

My parents and I handle my expenses together. I discuss my expenses with them and they help me out in handling it.

What was your first salary? What you did with it?

I was eleven when I did a print ad for a magazine. They paid me Rs.1,000 for it which is my first salary. Like a good girl, I gave it to my parents.

How much money do you carry every day?

I don't carry much cash, not at least when I am shooting.

Any advice for investors?

Invest wisely. Find out whether the investment you are making is right for you or not. Do a research and do not invest a lump sum in only one place. Make small and different investments.

" I have absolute faith in the power of prayer"

There are times in all our lives, when we desire the need for divine intervention; times, when life refuses to acknowledge the seemingly obvious and decides to take refuge in a world that is far away from ours. A world that gives the body and mind the spiritual healing that it yearns for. We, at Telly Chakkar.com decided to delve deeper into the lives of our favourite stars and know a little about their lives beyond the obvious.

After acting in the Balaji production Koi Dil Mein Hai, then Kkusum, she finally got noticed for character role of Sneha in Kasauti Zindagi Kay. Jennifer Winget who also played the bitchy Natasha to the hilt in Kya Hoga Nimmo Ka, has a firm belief in God. She says, 'I have absolute faith in the power of prayers. If you pray sincerely, god does grant your wish."
Anil Merani, chats up this god fearing cutie who is spiritual to the core.

"Get blessings from the poor"

I am greatly inspired by the life of Lord Jesus. The sacrifices made by Christ have always inspired me to do a bit for our society. I believe, rather then blowing up huge sums of money on sweets and decorations during festivals like Christmas and Diwali, we should try to help out a poor family. I am sure their blessings will go a long way in making our life more happy and contented..

"I believe in the power of prayer"

I have absolute faith in the power of prayer. If you ask for something with a true heart, God does grant your wish. I directly talk to Jesus through prayers, and when I am angry with something, I fight with him too. .

"The old rules in the scriptures need to be changed"

I sincerely hope that the old rules of all religions, could be re-evaluated in the light of modern times. Like in Christianity, getting a divorce/abortion is a sin, but sometimes these things cannot be helped, hence wouldn't be better, if some flexibility could be introduced.
Don't get me wrong, I accept what is mentioned in the Holy scriptures, all I am saying is that we need to understand that these do's and don't, were written at a different time in history.

"I respect all faiths"

I It really hurts to see people killing each other in the name of religion. Since my mom is Punjabi and dad, Christian, we were taught to love and respect people of all faiths. All Gods are one and the only difference is in our approach. What is important is having utmost faith in your own religion, and in the belief that God will take care of you.

"If I am in trouble, I read the Bible"

Due to my hectic shooting schedules, I don't have the time to attend Church every week, but do make it a point to attend the important holy communion mass, (first Sunday of every month). After mass, I feel at peace with myself. Similarly, when I am in trouble, or under tremendous stress, I read the Bible, maybe just one chapter at a time which gives me a lot of peace.
