Sanyu woke up with a start.

"Ohhh shittt!!! How could I get up so latee!! Oh no Oh nooo!! I need to do so much work! SO much is pending! I can't lose this bet! Not from MCP for sure! I have to win this! Get going Sanyuu!", she blabbered as Kaustuki sighed.

She had been hearing this ever since the bet was made between Sanyu and her MCP. Not only Kaustuki, Parth was also one of the victims of this verbal attack. No, not because of Sanyu, it was Randhir who was eating his head there. Both Kaustuki n Parth were fed up of them. They were the ultimate victims of all the crazy stuff Sandhir did. The natija of being Sanyukta n Randhir's best friends. Sigh.

Well, this wasn't a very usual bet. This was an unusually usual bet. 6 months of their relationship and nothing special? Can't be right? So they had a bet that they would make the day special for each other. They don't really need a reason to compete, do they? They were Sandhir. They were famous in the whole college for their antics. The whole college knew about their relationship. Moreover, they were fondly known as "SANDHIR" in the college too.

Finally, the day had arrived. It was their 6 month anniversary. Both of them were done with the preparations. The time had arrived.

Randhir came wearing a red shirt with a black coat over it, looking dashing and handsome as ever.

His jaw dropped on seeing her, his Farzi. She had worn a knee length black one-piece with a slight amount of makeup.

"Beautiful", slipped out of Randhir's mouth as he saw her proceeding towards him.

She moved towards him and put her arms around his neck lessening the proximity between them.

"So, are you ready to lose aldredy?", she smirked.

He pulled her closer.

"Not so soon Farzi", he smirked.

"Ahh MCP, I would die for this smirk", Sanyu thought, which brought a smile on her face.

"I know what you're thinking there Farzi, Control your thoughts. It's seeming like you're the one gonna lose."

"Nah MCP, I'm gonna win this time. You better watch out", she said seeming confident.

"Btw, you look handsome", she whispered into his ear.

"I always do", he smirked

"So ready my handsome MCP? You first."

"Always ready Farzi! After all I'm Rank no. 1"

"And I'm sure you wouldnt have recorded a song for me, right? I told you to do that ages back", Sanyukta pouted.

"Yeah I didn't. But you have a lot more", Randhir winked.

"Ahaan, toh chalo!"

"Wait wait Farzi! Aise kaise? Lemme blindfold you", he said.

"Ohkaay fast MCP!! I can't wait to see you lose", she said.

"Let's see who looses and who wins", Randhir said, as he tied the blindfold on his Farzi's eyes.

"I know you'll win Farzi", Randhir thought.

Her hair tickled his face and she could feel him though she was blindfolded.

He slowly took her towards the terrace and removed the blindfold off her eyes.

She opened her eyes only a very beautifully decorated terrace, with a "HAPPY 6 MONTH ANNIVERSARY" banner on top. The decorations were just same as the day when her MCP had proposed her alongwith the beautiful sky and the twinkling stars. The decors, the banners, the center table and almost everything were just same! It brought their wonderful memories back. The memories of that blissful day, when they had become one, they had become SANDHIR from two individuals- Sanyukta and Randhir.

"Wait Farzi! Its not over", Randhir quickly said before Sanyu could say anything.

"Randhir...all this..."

"Farzi, wait na! I wanna see you reaction on my full surprise"

He pulled her towards the center table and made him sit. He placed a small device on the center table and sat beside her.

"What's this MCP?",she asked quickly.

"Wait and watch Farzi", she winked. "Shush now"

He pressed a button on the device as Sanyu watched in excitement.

"SANDHIR", he muttered.

And...

A video started projecting in the sky. It was a video of Sandhir. Every moment was captured and projected. All of it seemed so beautiful. A dark night, the twinkling stars, a glowing moon and to top it all, Sandhir. Sandhir n their memories projected in the sky. It seemed so perfect. Sanyukta didn't have any words to express how she was feeling at the moment. Tears came down her eyes as she saw the video. She looked at Randhir, only to find him already looking at her, smiling, seeing her so happy.

"Everytime you say 'SANDHIR' , these flashes of memories will start playing. So, now, you wont ever miss me.", Randhir said with a smile on his face

"Randhir...all this is...",she muttered. But Randhir cut her in between.

"This is not it Farzi. There's more to it. Just close your eyes."

She closed her eyes and could feel her heart beating really fast. Randhir quickly went on his knees and grabbed her hand and asked to open her eyes.

"You're my whole world Farzi. 6 months before on this very day I had asked you whether you'll be mine forever. Today, I wanna give a name to our beautiful relation Farzi. Will you marry me?"

Sanyukta was overwehlmed with emotions. She nodded with a yes as tears were flowing out her eyes. As soon as Randhir put the ring on her finger, she could hear Randhir's voice say "I love you Sanyukta". No it wasn't Randhir. He had actually recoreded his voice in the ring through a software which played the recording everytime she wore the ring or pressed the button.

She had no words to express her emotions. She was continuously pressing the button on her ring. She loved it as "I love you Sanyukta" rang in her ears.

"So..how was it?", Randhir asked confused as shedidn't say anything.

"I..I dun know what to say!...I loved it MCP! I love you soo much!", she said as she engulfed him in a tight hug.

He could feel her heartbeats. He pulled off the hug, sensing her quiet sobs. He neared her and kissed the tears off her cheeks, which only made her blush. She could feel his breath on her lips. She looked into his twinkling orbs and pressed her lips against his without thinking twice, not able to resist the essence of his odour. He pressed his lips harder, enjoying the moment even more, caressing her hair. They kissed for a long while. The atmosphere was just perfect. They enjoyed each other's company more than anything.

Randhir let go off Sanyukta after a while and asked.

"Wait.Farzi, Where's your surprise?"

"Umm..MCP..I..I din do anything...", she muttered with a low voice.

"Farzi, I know you well! Humari iss anniversary pe tum kchna karo aisa ho hi nai sakta. You fear right? That I won't like it?"

"Hmm...its not all that good..Definitely not as blissful as your's was"

"Hey, I know it's gonna be awesome Farzi! I really wanna see it. Cum on, I cant wait to see it. N smile okay? I know I'm gonna love it", he said cupping her face.

Sanyukta took him to the FITE grounds, covering his eyes with her hands.

She slowly let go her hands off his eyes and asked him to slowly open his eyes.

"Here's it MCP"

There, was a black shiny bike standing in the middle of the ground. It was looking no less than a Harley Davidson. Randhir rushed towards it and started looking all over it.

"Farzi!! This...this is awesome!! You...you made this??"

She nodded.

"Oh my god Farzi! I always wanted to make a bike with all these specifications! You knew it right?N that's why..."

"Yes MCP, I knew it all and so, I decided to make this up for you. It took me ages, but here it is! In front of you"

Randhir's happiness knew no bounds! He was too very excited to try it out! He sat on the bike and looked back at Sanyu, signalling her to sit behind him.

And they drove off into the oblivion. They didn't need anyone else. They had each other. And they were enough for each other. The adorable...SANDHIR <3

-----THE NEXT DAY-----

Kaustuki was already sitting beside Sanyukta's bed dying to hear about the last night's story.

"Sanyu wake up, Tell me what happened yesterday", she continuously pestered Sanyukta.

"Arghh Kaustukii!! Let me sleep", she grinned covering her ear with the pillow.

"Sanyuu, wake up sanyu", Kaustuki started pestering her again.

Suddenly, Kaustuki's phone rang. It was Parth. She answered the call.

"Did you come to know who won?", Parth asked.

"No Parth, but I'm sure it's Randhir! I had already told you. His surprises are amazing!!"

"Kaustu, it's surely gonna be Sanyu! Sanyu is better at surprises! You're gonna loose our bet! Just watch out"

"I told na Randhir will win!"

"No Sanyukta will"

"Lets ask them and meet in the canteen at 10"

"Ohkay then, let's get going now!"

Parth and Kaustuki also had a bet between them. This was always the case. Whenevr Sandhir had a bet, even Kaustuki n Parth would end up betting. Kaustuki used to support Randhir, though she was Sanyu's best friend n Part used to support Sanyu, being Randhir's best friend. And in the end...This is what used to happen...

"Sanyukta WAKE UP i said", Kaustuki yelled into her ear.

"Arghh Kaustu!!!", Sanyu woke up, irritated.

There In Randhir's room, Parth was almost leaning over Randhir, as if he was about to kiss him anytime.

Randhir opened his eyes, and yelled at the top of his voice pushing Parth aside.

"Paarth!! What the hell do you think you're doing? I'm already commited, I'm not gay okay?"

"Oh cum on Randhir! You weren't waking up at all! And I wanted to know what happened yesterday. Sooo...",Parth said with a wide smile, showing all his teeth to Randhir.

Sandhir facepalmed in unision in their respective rooms.

"Sanyu bol na", Kaustuki yelled.

"Uhmm...", Sanyu blushed.

"Sanyuuu blush karne ke liye puri zindagi padi hai! Tell me who won??", Kaustuked said faking anger.

"Randhir won", Sanyu said making Kaustuki jump on her bed.

"Yes yesss I knew it!!!", she said seeming really excited.

"What do you mean? Eh-? I thought you were on my side. Are you my best friend or his? -_-", Sanyu pouted.

"Awwie Sanyu, but u know right, Randhir is the best!",Kaustuki winked.

"Umm..yeah! True that", Sanyukta blushed.

They both got ready. Kaustuki pulled Sanyukta into the canteen and Parth pulled Randhir.

Both Parth and Kaustuki were really happy.

"I told you na, I'll win!!", Parth and Kaustuki yelled in excitement.

"Wait. I won!", Kaustuki pouted.

"No you din't! I won!", Parth pouted.

"Wait."

They paused as they saw Sandhir lost in each other's eyes. And then, they realized what must have happened.

"Aww, Sandhir", Parth n Kaustuki said in unision as they realized Sandhir had once again secretly declared each other as the winners.

This is what used to happen everytime!

And all the four giggled together till their stomachs hurt.

This was the one of the last good memories they had together. They were really happy. But, it seemed destiny had something else for them.

-----ONE MONTH LATER-----

Randhir was really angry. He barged into Sanyukta's room almost breaking the door behind him.

"What happened Randhir? Are you okay?", Sanyukta asked, worried.

"Okay? My foot!", Randhir yelled.

He angrily grabbed Sanyukta's hands and pinned her against the wall.

"How dare you do this to me? How dare you?", he yelled.

"Stop it Randhir! You're hurting me. What did I do? I love you", she said.

"Oh stop it Sanyukta. You don't love me. You used me. If you had loved me, you wouldn't have done this to me.", he yelled, the pain clearly visible in his eyes.

Ok this is the end of chapter 1.
