He was sitting on the play-area's bench,with his head in his hands...Today was the day she was gonna be engaged!!!N it was bothering him like hell!!He couldnt understand why he was missing her so badly...She had left for her house last nite itself...Had called him 10times,but he dint picked-up her call...he wasnt ready to face the truth that she was going,was leaving him alnoe...alone...alone...to fight with his fears...to overcome his pain...he couldnt gather the courage to let her leave,without him even trying to save her from this marriage that she never wanted to get bounded to!!
He remembered the time he had spent with her...The day he first met her...the days he fought with her...Their tasks together...The night the worked together on her father's factory model...The kiss...Night which they spent in the library(just before last xam)...and the time when he broke-down in her arms after hearing the news of his parents' divorce...

She was there when he needed her the most...She was there by his side,when he was shattered...she was there trying to understand his pain...trying to share it...She was there,in every second of his pain,she was there!!!He could feel her fragrance engulfing him,enticing him to urge his heart break-down the shackels surrounded to it,to grab her n make her his own!!

But he is here,n she is in pain...the pain of about-to-be-bounded to someone she doesnt deserves...She deserves someone much better then that MCP sameer..He wasnt just an MCP,he was a real jerk..."Damn! how can I let her be married to that jerk who will instead spoil her life?She doesnt deserves him!!N m not gonna let her be trapped into this impractical marriage"...He stood up and banged his fists on the bench as he pledged to save her...
He kick-started his bike n zoomed past vehicles to reach Sanyu's house ASAP...it was around evening now n the whole house was dazzeling with the twinkling lights...Randhir walked past the gate n found his way to her window...He sneaked into her room n luckily found her alone...
She was sitting there,All decked up,in a magenta colored ghaghara choli...but crying silently...

As always,he couldnt bear to see her tears,he slowly went towards the door n closed it...Hearing the noise of door-closing,she moved her head up,n was stunned to see him there!!He move closer to her,while she held her breath...He cupped her face n wiped the tears saying "U know it very well that only I have the right to make U cry...So dare U cry for any other reason apart from my tortures!!"...She looked into his deep brown orbs...They were gleaming,with tears...Tears of pain,of seperation,of desire of being close to her...She closed her already burning eyes n felt she was about to faint,but just then he grabbed her waist to cease her from falling!!She felt he could hear her heart...
He helped her stand up as she still gazed him dreamily,sub-conciously...He guided her to make her sit on the bed...Finally she broke the silence n spoke -"Randhir,plz pinch me...coz m still thinking u r here to wipe my tears...It can only be a dream...for I know u r not here!!
But If u r actually here - then dont pinch me, its better to let me think its a dream...coz the reality is worst than nightmare.."
Randhir dint pinched her,instead he took her hand n kissed her palm...Sanyu got starteled,gained back her senses at the mere sensation of his lips on her palm...
Randhir gazed back to her n said "M not going to let this engagement happen sanyu,Coz that sameer isnt meant for U"..Sanyu's eyes widened hearing this...
Her cheeks turned red hearing it...He stood up n held her hand n said "lets go Sanyu,lets go downstairs,n talk to ur father that sameer is not the right guy for U...i will be there to support U in front of ur father Sanyu" He spoke from his heart,n she could feel it...She was dumbstruck...what has happened to Randhir today,thought sanyukta...but holding back his hand,she spoke -"Its too late Randhir,i cant dishearten my father",she said disheartendly!!!
He grabbed he from wrist n almost dragged her out of the room n downstairs to where his father was standing,guests hadnt arrieved yet n there wasnt anyone there except sanyu's family...They were stunned to see Randhir holding Sanyu's hand...Ankit was furious,he jerked Sanyu's hand from Randhir's , n was about to hit him,but Sanyu interrupted "Bhaii,wait...let me explain" she said in a tone that sounded almost like begging...Randhir looked at her n saw tears about to fall from her eyes...He felt his heart stopped beating...Finally he mustered courage n move towards Sanyu's parents , who were so stunned that they were dumbstruck...ultimately,trying his best not to lose his temper, Randhir spoke : "With all due respect Mr.Agarwal, I wanna ask u a question!!May I??"...Mr.Agarwal,though furious,nodded a yes to him...n so again Randhir spoke :"I want to speak to U personally" n both of them moved away from others,to a place from where no one could hear what they were talking...After around 5mins they returned,n Mr.Agarwal dialled Sameer's father's no. n called off the engagement...All were stunned!!!
What was it that made Mr.Agarwal cease the wedding??Sanyu was awestruck...she wasnt able to believe that the engagemnt is actually being called off,n that too by her dad himself...She tried to ask her father,but he said its his final deciesion,n he dont want any more questions on it...he asked her to pack her bags and leave for FITE with Randhir the same night itself!!
Sanyu was more than relieved at the thought of being a freebird now!!!Mr.Agarwal finally hugged her...N She hugged back her father,with tears of happiness falling from her eyes...She went upstairs ,packed her bags n came back in around half an hour...finally both Randhir and Sanyu bid adieu to the Agarwals,n left for FITE...Sanyu was relieved beyond imagination...on the way back to FITE on bike,she gently hugged Randhir from behind n placed her head lightly on his shoulder from behind...He felt like he has got everything he ever wanted in his life now...Though Sanyu wanted to knw what Randhir told her father,she dint dared to ask him right now...They halted at a dhaba to have some dinner...Sitting there n waiting for the food, both were remembering the night they had spent together when she had gone to bring him back from bus-stop,he had fought goons for her,n then took her,lifting in his arms...Those were the magical moments n brought smile on face of both ov them...both of them looked at eachother,n started smiling...
Finlly Sanyu spoke "now plz break this suspense Randhir,n tell me what made dad break-off my engagemnt with Sameer"...Randhir knew she will ask this question,n indeed he wanted her to ask this too...He blushed a little,for his successful attempt of breaking her engagemnt...finally he spoke "I went to Mr.Agarwal,n asked him how would he feel if he sees Sanyu's husband pushing her or hitting her if she spoke up any truth to him...He was starteled hearing this...Then I told him the whole tale of ur date with sameer,n later how u asked him to come to FITE n told him abt u doing engineering...Mr.Agarwal was a bit angry hearing this...but then i told him Sameer almost hit u, n throwed u off,u were about to get hurt due to it...I asked Mr.Agarwal how can he let his daughter tied to a person who doesnt respects his wife...he also respect the not-so-rich people(waiter at restaurant)...How can he let her daughter stay bounded to a guy who doesnt even respects her now,even after knowing he is about to be get married to her...Sanyu,Mr.Agarwal might have the ideology that ladies are meant for home,or whatever,but no man can bear to see his daughter being pained by her husband...And I told him that its not late,Sanyu even hasnt been engaged yet,still there is some time to save her life to be ruined...Mr.Agarwal understood my Point,n did the right thing finally" he said with a big grin on his face...Sanyu's eyes gleamed with happiness hearing Randhir's points... how wrong she was in judging Randhir...He was here for her,in her toughest times...
Sanyu gazed him lovingly,and asked - "why did u do this for me Randhir??Kyu kiya itna kuch mere liye??"
Randhir took her left hand in his,n stroking her ring(the one which he had put forcfully) he said -"BECAUSE I TOO HAVE A HEART,AND NOW I KNOW THAT IT BEATS FOR U"...He said her lovingly...
He gently removed the ring she was wearing,n instead inserted a new beautifull heart-shaped one into her finger...she was dazzeled by this act of him...Tears were streaming down her cheeks,he wiped them n kissed her forehead gently...Mesmerised of this moment,she placed her head gently on his lap,n closed her eyes...n said :
"I dunno if this is dream or reality randhir,but whatever it is,Dont pinch me Randhir,coz if this is really a dream,then i would never want it to end"
He gazed at her beautiful n serene face,it dazzeled in the lantren's light...Her eyes were closed yet she had a smile on her face...A smile of peace,of life,of Love...n lightly stroking her hair,he bent down,finally gave a light peck on her lips...
