Anuj Sachdev, who recently made a comeback as Amrit in Sabki Laadli Bebo on public demand, has been approached to play a lead in BAG's next untitled project for Star Plus.
A source says, "We have finished the casting procedure and now the channel has to take a final call about it. We expect to get their approval by this weekend. Anuj was the channel's choice. It is a family drama. He had auditioned twice for us; it's a very strong positive role. He suits the character; the show may go on floors by this month-end or early next month. Anuj too is pretty excited about this role and if things go well then he will be on."
Anuj remained unavailable for comment. Anuj was also supposed to be part of Cinevistaas' new show for Sony but he chose to return in Bebo. It is said that Anuj barely has any work in Bebo as his track is not in focus now so he has enough dates to spare. Anuj is also keen to sign another show as his contract with Bebo is only for 10 days a month.
