@ Scholar Ji: And I completely concur. I do believe that this was an abrupt and sudden decision. However, the channel did stuck with the show for almost 2 years and I think it had a good run overall. I am kind of disappointed and hurt but its that habit of looking forward to the show that will be harder to get over with..

Btw, you reminded of our great times. Gosh, its been a year now since we had that super-active forum and super-fun. Great memories they constituted indeed. Miss them dearly but glad to have found u through them *hugs*

BVD started in May 2009, right? Why cud they not have given time for BVD to complete 2 yrs? Aise kya jaldi hai? I feel so bad for Richa. May be she will look forward to some break finally but stil...

@ Scholar Ji: 🤗Yes, BVD started off in May, 2009. I was hoping to make a new celebration thread upon 2 years completion. But alas.. Now I have to make one for the show's farewell instead.. Funny how things work. Honestly, I missed watching Bindiya with Vinay.. I missed Bimlesh.. I missed Rekha ji.. I missed seeing Bindiya in a colorful avatar. I loved the cast both pre & post-leap. However, that romantic track that Bindiya deserved with Vinay or that happiness of ever after was never really given to her. Now that the show is ending, my only wish and prayer is that I get to see Richa in a better role and something younger perhaps. I really believe that an actress of her calibre will not be out of work for long. She's truly amazing. But will miss the entire cast and crew though.. *sighs*

P.S Don't know what the urgency was but I am thinking that since Star Plus is closing shows down on April 15th and coming up with new ones, it could be that Colors want to stay in the competition and give SP a tough time.. Who knows..😕

SP is closing shows? Which ones? I only know of TL ending.

All channels, post IPL want to introduce new shows... thats why they didnt wait for the 2nd anniversary for BVD.

Aadesh (Ratan) made his debut in LTL today. Hv u guys seen it?

Hi! nice to see posts and am just loving to reply too. OK BVD will end. I guess this had to end as they had to make way for the new show--Sasural Simar kaa.

They seem to be shifting Pratha in 7pm slot and then the new serial in 7.30 pm slot.

I strongly think that Rich Soni would be given a good role in any one of the other color's show. If many other actors, who were half as sincere as her could be given roles in other colors shows, then why not Richa? More so, she always honored her commitment irrespective of all turn of events in BVD.

I have not given up hope.⭐️ I still feel that the character surbhi in Pratha would be bumped off and richa soni would play the lead in rishton--pratha.😉After-all Pratha is about honor killing. I tell you I will distribute sweets😆 if this prediction of mine turns true😳

So we can look forward to BVD 2. Nevertheless, we would terribly miss the character of vimlesh etc. who was the pillar of BVD. No such endearing character will even get written like that of Vimlesh Sinha. Post-leap, I could not watch the fest as BVD operated best a team and most of my favorite team members left.

Post-leap, just towards the end, Bindya is shown as fighting for her rights. Let us be happy that at least towards the end a little justice is being done. In b/w i had given up hope thinking they will bump off bindya's character as they did to vinay's character.😉 Hope to meet all of you in BVD 2😃

There are rumors that besides Tere Liye, Chand Chupa Badal Mein & Gulaal are under the scanner. Gulaal has worst trps than CCBM. CCBM is like the 2nd highest popular show here on I-F and is in the top 20 shows but for some reason, it is being speculated that CCBM closes shop on 15th April too while Gulaal gets a 2nd chance with a leap of 10 years, which is beyond my comprehension.

I can't understand the psychology behind all this but I'd rather not dwell on it. There is no official confirmation from Star re: CCBM closing shop. However, Hindustan Times had come out with an article last Saturday regarding it. Some actors say that its ending, some say its a rumor. Don't know whom to believe but I am prepared for the worst case scenario so in my books, I lose 2 of my favorite current shows on April 15th..*sighs*

IPL is so overrated but that's just me.. 😉

Ah, what an optimistic approach towards RIcha and her inclusion in Pratha *hehehe*. Honestly, I want her in a fresher role. Not in a dragging role and for some reason, Pratha is all about honor killings, the family stuff, etc. I want Richa to come with a fresh, new show. She will rock any show in my opinion. But who knows, ur prediction may come true *hehehe*

Ah, Vimlesh...Yash Sinha is the man!! He is the soul of the show just like Richa. I can't wait for him to join a new show too. I wish he and Richa work together again. I loved their bro-sis relationship. Was so endearing to watch in BVD.
